Hey guys just wanted to share this story from the Orlando Sentinel this am. Its about the Hard Rock chain wanting to severe ties with the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas because of the image its getting as a place of drunken debachuery. Certainly don't think the Real World will help that image. Interesting timing too, they want to do this before the show starts filming, perhaps further indication the real world is for sure filming at the Hard Rock soon!
Yeah The Real World definitely wouldn't help that at all. I'm pretty sure the only reason they went back to Vegas is to get ratings up by watching their "drunken debauchery." It'll probably be a wild cast too.

Om the M-M agency blog they mention that going back to Vegas was an effort to get ratings up to use to try to leverage a contract renewal out of MTV. The implication was that the series might end with season 26 if they do not, but it is not clear whether he was stating the obvious that the series would end if it is not renewed or if he was saying that if ratings did not go up there would be no renewal.
Jeez, when will we find out this cast.
Be patient. I'm sure there are people on it. Molds already said she was looking at one possible guy, so I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
I've been informed that information was already published here by molds13 so I will give another clue to the identity of one of the cast members.
- One cast members hails from the great state of California

A freind of mine told me he was a big fan of outback steakhouse. Didn't really share much more. Maybe he worked there?
Oh, I also go the impression he might be going to school for journalism.
Since this isn't going to air as soon as Cutthroat finishes, whats going to be on MTV Wednesday nights at 10 between the two?
Hopefully that old real world theatre stuff they used to do back in the day, I wish they'd show old seasons on wednesday at 10 to build up for the new season that would be cool.
like not old like 90's old but fairly recent to build up for the new season. Idk I just like seeing old real worlds
Like Hollywood, Sydney, Denver, maybe to go far back as the original vegas season...idk but that one is a definite classic

Hmm, the original Vegas season or even the Reunited Vegas season would be a good idea to air Wednesdays at 10 to build up to the next Vegas season.

Not necessarily... assuming that MTV wants to separately identify this Las Vegas season from the 2002-2003 season (and reunited). Just like they did with the current New Orleans season, absolutely no mention of the first.
I can't remember they last time they've replayed ANY past seasons in preparation of a new one. But MTV always seems to surprise us, so we'll see.
I agree that they would do better to rerun some of the older seasons as a build up. Chicago would be a good season to reshow next year since it was the 9/11 season and next year will be the 10th anniversary of that, and maybe Brooklyn as the war tie in season.
I WISH they would replay the original Las Vegas to prepare for the new one. Wasn't Las Vegas one of the highest rated seasons? There's a reason why they did a "re-united" and no other season has done that.
you can watch it on mtv.com. I just rewatched it last month, so I think it must be working fine.
It probably works fine on MTV.com, on Netflix it says it's unavailable.
