The Real World: Back to Las Vegas

The 25th season of the MTV series, The Real World will be going back to Las Vegas and be filmed at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in a custom suite built just for the show. IMAGE(http://vevmo.com/imagehosting/14c8ab8a29dddb.jpg) These listings were posted on August 16th, looking for Production assistants and a Production coordinator: IMAGE(http://vevmo.com/imagehosting/14c87abeba81b0.jpg) IMAGE(http://vevmo.com/imagehosting/14c87abf4d9009.jpg) As noted, the email address tvjobs92@gmail.com alludes to 1992, which was the year the show began. Also, the standard MTV language matches up with other job listings from previous seasons. Being they were looking to fill those jobs immediately, it would be safe to assume that filming will commence shortly and run through December (which means those of you in Las Vegas need to fire up those camera phones and set up camp at the Hard Rock!) This is the third time MTV has gone back to the Las Vegas well, the first being The Real World Las Vegas in the fall of 2002, followed by Reunited: The Real World Las Vegas in the spring of 2007 and finally the latest season, which should air in the Spring of 2011, following The Challenge: CutThroat.

Wow. Interesting. I wonder if this season will just be called RW: Las Vegas?
Should be very intersting season. i hope they have 8 crazy castmembers. So I guess there going back to places from now on.
Considering Vegas was one of their highest rated seasons, I have a feeling this one will be good as well.

The Real World: 25 The Real World: Las Vegas The Real World: Back to Las Vegas The Real World; B2Vegas The Real World: B2Las Vegas The Real World: Las Vegas 2 The Real World: Las Vegas 2.5 The Real World: Back, Back to Las Vegas I am thinking with the precedent set concerning the title of the currently airing Real World (defaulting to The Real World: New Orleans) I am guessing they just call it The Real World: Las Vegas. Here, we are going to refer to it as, The Real World: Las Vegas 2 in episode threads (with this announcement thread as The Real World: Back to Vegas.) I could care less what they call it, lol.
Didnt they use this hotel for the first ever reunion special and looking at there residence they do not even have to leave the premise.

OMG ill be stuck there(Vegas) a whole day in three weeks. Ill make sure to charge my camera phone looks like ill have something to do now:D. I just hope there moved in by then.
That's kinda a bummer. I understand why they are going there, but I was really hoping for somewhere abroad. Looks like they are back to party cities like Cancun, New Orleans, and Las Vegas. Guess we're gonna see Miami come back again soon...they'll show Jersey Shore how it's really done. lol jk jk.
Honestly? C'mon MTV.. Detroit? Atlanta? Sioux City? Grand Rapids? Hell even Dallas or even somewhere in Montana or Wyoming? Hollywood (S2 and 20), brooklyn(NYC S1, 10 and 21) Cancun (Spring Break/Challenges. S22), DC (S23), New orleans (S9 and S24) and Now Las Vegas (S11 and 25).
To be fair, two people pointed Las Vegas out to me about a month ago. We were just waiting for some confirmation. I know that one (and maybe both) did not want to be outed as a source, so...thanks guys :D
Slightly disappointed. So many cool cities they have yet to use. Nashville, anyone? C'mon.

I'm not really surprise...considering the success of RW:NO2 and Jersey Shore. Drama is the #1 reason people watch MTV now. Hopefully it's just as good as RW:NO2 :-)
This is kinda a short time filming, no? I mean -- they would likely be moving in within the next 2 to 3 weeks...and then film for 3 months? I guess they are expecting high drama in short filming time like Cancun and New Orleans.
Wow that's crazy about two months ago another member and I had a discussion about the location, and he or she said they had a source saying it would be filmed in a hotel. We assumed back to Vegas buy our posts were deleted because the credibility of their source was unknown. Guess it was a pretty good source after all. Lol

Actually, we said that the only places they could film in the US and be somewhat undectable are Orlando, LA, NYC, and Las Vegas...all of which because they could film in hotels. I still would have preferred to see them be in the Hard Rock in Orando over the one in Vegas. Vegas has so many other cool hotels they could have picked...
but really.. Vegas ehh, I understand the ratings and contract renewel may depend on it, but there's so many other great cities. I have never been, but a couple of people I know who visited Montreal said it's quite the party city. I guess I just feel there were other options rather than Vegas again!

Wooooooooo! this is going to be awesome. I am supposed to go to Vegas soon :D hopefully before the end of filming.
Well I hope they have a "diverse" cast. We haven't seen that since Hollywood.
Vegas will be fine, but I do understand wanting to see the show visit new cities. I think there's a pretty wide following of people who would like to see Montreal, Atlanta, Nashville, etc. I expect those cities will continue to be on the filming short list for the next few seasons. My one note is that I do hope Vegas continues forward like New Orleans -- a party season with a cast that has deep issues. I like that balance -- it's what they should have done for DC and Cancun.
Well that blows, I was hoping for an international season. Why the delay on taping?
Can't wait!!! <3

I said maybe a Back to Las Vegas! It was shot down! And I commented that maybe they'll start doing only "Back To" Seasons! Haha! Maybe, I'm wrong, but so far this is the "2nd Back To" season in a row. Good Job, kdub90! lol

I guess BMP wanted to make it clear this will be a party season! :D
Maybe I'm wrong, but I just looked through all of your posts and you never once mentioned Back to Las Vegas. You mentioned Back to Sydney.
Oh, snap. You just TOLD him/her. I saw plenty of people who did say Las Vegas; however, I was not one of them. Bummer. As for everyone who says this will be a definite party season -- just wait -- here's my prediction of the cast: 1. someone with a gambling addiction 2. a beauty pageant queen who has a shopping addiction and is into crazy loud hookups 3. a jock who is gay for pay and wants to work at the bunny ranch 4. a gothic who loves pain a little too much 5. a Latino anchor baby whose mom has been deported back to Mexico 6. someone with a crazy criminal record 7. an autistic Asian girl who barely speaks English 8. someone who will never be on the show more than 10 minutes
For whatever reason, I'm never a big fan when they have the cast live in a hotel suite. I know it's a kickass suite, I just like when they film in an actual house better. Gives it a more home-ish feeling.
Well I hope they have a "diverse" cast. We haven't seen that since Hollywood.
I thought Cancun was very diverse. Two Latinos on the cast. All of the girls were minorities. That's very diverse for The Real World if you ask me.
