Real World 25 - Casting

So when do we start finding out some info? My cousin never heard back so I guess he didn't make it.

I was told that I was moving forward after doing a flmed interview, then asked to make a video and was told that they would be in contact in around a month. It hit a month this sunday so now Im waiting.

If you weren't asked to do a home movie after your one-on-one filmed interview then did you not make it to the second round?

Thats what everyone is trying to figure out. IS the next one the call to california, or is there an additional step inbetween?

I went to the SF auditions with a VIP pass this past Saturday, then had my filmed interview just yesterday. It went really well & the casting director said the next step will be in the next week or 2, then the LA trip for the final round would be early June.

Then the LA trip toward the beginning of june & told me how everything works... SO I really dunno what that means. Why would he waste his time telling me this if I didn't make it? I figured they'd look over my interview video then get back to me later this week if I move on to the next step cause he was heading back to LA later last night. What do you think it means!?haha

Did you get a call back from him Saturday night after the casting call? I talked to Woody for a good while after my session at the Hard Rock, cool guy, but didn't get a call afterwards.

That's what he did to me, then yes a few hours after the meeting I got a call back to come in the next day, Sunday.

If you don't receive a call by today or tomorrow then you haven't made the Semi-Finals. Interviews are being conducted in the next couple of days

How did you find this out? I'm just curious. And they are still calling people tomorrow? Are they calling from California or where?

I've always been one to disclose information that I know, but not specify exactly where I received the information from. I will specify that this might not be true for the West Coast, but it is very true for the East Coast applicants.

Why do you think they will be calling tomorrow as well?

Or to be a real **** you should just act like your friends with her and post all over this site how she told you she was a finalist. I don't dislike her but I'm not really friends with her. We've been in a few fashion shows together. I never sensed much personality from her but then again I don't really know her know her. She comes off kind of awkward to tell you the truth. She just ran a fashion show not too long ago and really wanted me to be in it but I had to back out cuz she didn't have her **** together.

I heard production tells them not to tell anyone. I assume they can tell their family they live with and close friends but like a limited amount. Imagine this girl on a challenge. I can see her status on facebook now. "Hey guys I am leaving the country to try and win some money on a television show ;]" lol. Stupid little girl when will you learn.

Also from how you described her I can't stand her already and she hasn't even been cast lol. Also I am tired of being making facebook groups dedicated to them getting on the real world. I mean come on.
