Real World 25 - Casting

They usually say something like "Thanks everyone for coming this has been a real interesting group, can i have INSERT SOMEONE'S NAME HERE stay back I just have to ask you a couple more questions! Then after the last person in the group leaves they rush you off to another room where you sit and fill out the packet of information!! The Packet Takes forever so don't plan on going to work anytime soon ha I ended up calling in sick as I was filling out the packet

What do you guys think this means? I was sent a VIP pass for a city.. went, but was not called back. Now today, I got another VIP pass for a close city, issued by another person... Its like 3 hours away.. Anyone experience this? Or know what could be up?

So quick question... I went to a call a week ago exactly and had a vip pass. I know for a fact that no one in any group was asked to stay after since no one in my group was, and no one in the group 5 other people I knew was asked either. The casting director said that we would be called later that night, or up to 2 weeks later...if I haven't been contacted yet does this mean its over? I thought my interview went really well and the casting director even asked me extra questions

My source at told me [URL="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?=743264506"]this person[/URL] was someone to keep an eye on, although they didn't say why...they are either someone that might be cast or someone that has inside info into the process. I'll see what I can find out today.

It's ashame as he seems interesting: lots of political activists stuff posted on his facebook wall, definitely a little "in your face", attractive, and has personality. He'd be a better, more interesting fit than the crap they've been casting the past few seasons.

I didnt see to many people at the Washington DC Casting call will not yet it was like 10:15 when I went they didnt ask me to stay back either they ask two people to. I dont understand how come they dont make you stay back but sometimes I here they call you the next day or later on that night or something how true is that

Today at the casting call they kept no one behind and said I'll call between seven and nine. Does that mean no one got in?

K so I went to the casting call today. Here are some insider tips! First off: Waayyy too many VIP's. Like seriously who wasn't a VIP? It was a joke. Second: The place it was held at was small. It had NO section for people that "make the second round" to fill out an app. Last time I filled the 2nd app it was like in a separate room away from the group interviews. Sooo for those of you thinking they might call you back---They Might! Don't stress til midnight. Third: K so my group was the third one of the VIP's and we all sat in groups of ten. We talked about what we were passionate about. Most of the guys were like gay, so it was a lot of gay this and gay that. One girl was gorgeous, and we had the same heels on! So me and her clicked. Um...we had a girl that had terrets (sp?) and it was strange because she kept like stuttering or watev and it was really confusing to understand her. The casting director was kind of *****y in my opinion, I totally wasn't feeling her but of course I smiled and was nice. There were ZERO debates, ZERO disruptions, and not much to distinguish yourself from. Anyway, I absolutely hate open calls, so this will be the VERY LAST one no matter what happens. The people that came were really weird btw, like super lesbians and super activist type people. FOR THOSE OF YOU WORRIED ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER: The casting director said that they will be taking all of the packets back and reading them all night, people that get interviews will be called by the end of the day (midnight) because they read them fully. For those that didn't get interviewd they might call u by the end of the week and set up a skype interview. AFTER ONE WEEK PASSES, THEY SAID YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY NOT BEEN PICKED. <<

I was at the Atlanta one. I feel like I said two words. So hopefully they are reading my application and I get called back!!!! Who knows. I do not think I'm going too.

So do you guys think they'll ever cast a guy who's got a gut and doesn't have a flat stomache or 6 pack? Just asking because if they wanna change it up then that's something I haven't really seen done before. And if season 25's going to be a serious season then how would a person who fits both the party animal type and the serious type fair auditioning in these? Btw I have read all these past pages lol

Hey if anyone gets a call back from ATL let me know!!!! The guy told all of us it would be before eight and now I am hearing before midnight!!!!! So I just want to know I did not get through!! Praying I did ;)

Lol I hope it's not in Nashville. Ew. Not to be like offending the Tennessee folks. Catie I'd say just wait til midnight, and if no callback, don't sweat it til next saturday :) You might get a skype interview. Anywho, I'm going out and I'm going to forget about this whole casting!

I do not think I made it. Oh well :) maybe next year.

I dont think I made it neither Catiecoke I didnt get call back Saturday I went to the one in Washington DC I went early it was two ladies at the casting they as a model to stay back and some other guy there wasnt no debate or nothing going on. I guess am done to or I wasnt that interesting

I was at the Tampa casting yesterday; nothing really special happened. Everyone was a VIP so it was a bit humorous watching people walk up only to learn that they weren't as special as they thought. The lady outside was nice, I chatted her up a bit. As for the group discussion, it was really brief. I spoke twice (as did everyone else) and was the only one to make the group laugh. I figured the first round would be cake but no call back; it was a fun experience though!!!

Same here JMoney! I barely talked. Oh well. They pick the typical picks anyways and that is why their ratings have gone down :)
