I find it funny how the Blue Jays are actually above .500 right now. With the fact that they lost Halladay they so far have played decent.
They started out fast last year too. The difference between the Yankees and the Jays makes it impossible for them to stay in it all year.
They have an injury and they're done. The Yankees just pull a guy off their bench that would be one of the highest paid players on the Jays. ;)

Very young. Very sad.
I can't believe the Sox pulled that one out with some guy pinch hitting that I have never heard of...
That is what we needed and it is time for a more extensive, shakeup.
It's not Major League, but it is pretty sweet!

Yeah I saw that this morning. It was the #1 play on Sportscenter. I'm usually opposed to baseball plays being #1, but this one was deserving.
Darnell McDonald.
Unbelievable. He gets called up from the minors, comes in to pitch hit. Nails a homer to tie and then smacks the game winning RBI. In his second game, he walks and scores a run and then cranks a homer.
ON FIRE!
Not to mention he threw out what would've been the game-tying run at home. First person since Sam Horn in 1987 to hit homeruns in his first two games with the Sox.

I was just coming back to add that he gunned down the runner. He is bringing life back into this club. He is just what the doctor ordered.
Way to go Mikey Lowell! Time to show WHY you are Papi's permanent replacement!
I just posted the same thing on Boston.com...way too many Ortiz loyalists there...
McDonald walks.
He is still perfect. 1.000 OBP. ;)
Where did this guy come from?! Wish I could watch the games but I'm glad someone is bringing a little magic back to the team!
Booo.....tie game.
I guess there goes my chance to actually get a pitching win in fantasy, lol.
But, now the focus must be on the task at hand. Winning this game.
I know. It's a shame that our "ace" can't even keep a lead.
On a side note...... The TD Garden is TEARING up Ryan Miller with their Chants. GO BRUINS!
It is hard to be against Miller with the Olympics not far in the past. He was the reason we even had a shot.
That said, I hope he gets five hole'd FTW. :D
Wasn't every Cubs fan praising him last year? My, how the mighty have fallen!
I think it is ridiculous he is being sent to the pen. Z might be having a rough start, but the manager is crazy (and has always been a few eggs short of a dozen.)
