This is from CBS:
This is a result of the postponed Boston Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays game from Friday 4/16. In order to accommodate this game on the scoreboard we needed to restart live scoring. We are currently in the process of updating all games. This is a temporary issue that should be corrected shortly, we do apologize for this inconvenience.
They got back to me in about 30 minutes. Not bad for a game we aren't paying a dime to play.
The Red Sox game last night was really strange. The last time the Red Sox had a suspended game was 1996 (normally they don't start if it is pouring or they rule it a complete game if there are enough innings played, but you can't do that if it is a tie game and one team has half an inning to play.)
The Red Sox will finish last night's game starting at 7:10 and when that is over I expect the scoreboard will reset properly.
I'm now -0.5 for Grienke overall... ****!!!
If he was on a great team, he'd probably go 24-1 this year...but he is on the Royals and they leave him in late and pitch the hell out of him (he is always in the 110's for pitch count.) No matter what he does, he has to deal with a flacidly batting team.
Love the guy, but as the Red Sox are learning, you can't win with pitching and defense alone.
I have a real dilemma today. I need Garza to put some points on the board for me but at the same time I hope he gets hammered so hard by the Red Sox they pull him in the first inning. :D
My matchup is super close. I need my players to put up some big numbers today.
Gavin Floyd has already gifted you a -13 (and a -18 by the time it is all over) so you are looking solid. :D

FML. I'm down .5 and Pedroia has given me -0.5 today. Seriously? Let's go SOX!! I need u.
Wow, only one person has more points then me hopefully I score the win this week.
I have a sneaking suspicion that one person is going to beat you. :wink2:

You'll get another 3-10 (QS and probably the win) from Pettitte and he's going to eat 5 (loss) for Floyd, so things are not as bad as they seem.
Choo has scored 46.5 points thus far for me, on the bench. Clearly I made the wrong decision this week when setting my outfield.
Yikes. That's a lot of points on your bench. I have a feeling you'll be fine without them though. ;)
I can't believe that I was able to pick up the rp I wanted as I had to replace Happ for at least this week. He is going agianst KC he should do so well.
I personally can't wait to swap in my new hot players and clear out dead spots (i.e. Rollins.)
I'd be close to 450 points this week if Rollins was healthy and I started Choo.
Yeah, I didn't even expect to come close when my catcher went down after the first day. I was just surprised I had a shot at winning my match up. I picked up Kevin Gregg for next week as he is officially the closer in toronto and the upcoming week they will take on the chiefs.
I want to give a shout out to the Wolves. It was this team and owner that said they would be the big dogs.
Mr Wolf. If you were playing me you would have lost 217-382 (and counting as I still have bats going and you are done for the week.) You can attempt to beguile me with excuses but those wolves don't hunt.
This early season level of pwnage is unforgivable. I expected true challengers from all the talk and now all I can think about is personal goals (i.e. can I score 400 in one week. 500 in one week. 600 in one week!??)
You guys are throwing me all star hitters and guys that will win 15-18, or save 40 on the waiver wire and you don't think this is going to be a blowout? Every week I get that much better than all the other teams. I really can't even upgrade anymore, unless someone wants to trade me Pujols....
Edit: I'll take Halladay too.
Really can't upgrade then what are Tim Hudson and Carlos doing sitting on your active roster are these guys really "the best".
Tim Hudson isn't on my roster, lol. (He was last week and did his job.)
Called a spot starter and I will rotate out the bottom three or four players all year to capture the heat, baby.
Not that it really matters...
I just don't think you guys and gals are dynamic enough to play in the "Big Leagues."
Bacchus,
I'll trade all your wins in future weeks if we could just get a WIN for our team! At least Pedroia is kicking some major tail for fantasy stats.
Okay then, still think he is only medicore. Didn't you pick up Zito on the waiver wire? He really has done very well as of now.
I actually drafted him. Waived him. Picked him up when he was facing bad hitting (or this week for a two start) and waived him.
All about matchups and he is good when he is good. I got a gift against LA. I was expecting to split the difference and maybe get 15 out of him.
You guys have to know, I play every day. Every Day. I drink my morning coffee and look at the 100 most viewed players. Then the 100 most owned and the 100 most activated. I go to RotoWorld. I live and breathe for the win. I check matchups, I use baseball-reference for hitter vs. pitcher lifetimes and I generally take this seriously.
Unless you really, really want it (which I have not seen yet) everyone is playing for second...

I don't want to go there. Fantasy baseball is my distraction. I'd lose every week for the Sox. I am too devoted. ;)
At least Pedroia is kicking some major tail for fantasy stats.
He didn't do much for me today. I suppose he did his share for the period though. Although, my highest scoring player this period was a Yankee. Pettite. 50 pts.

That's a good point. From my experience the person who does even a modest amount of research for fantasy leagues (any sport) has a huge advantage over the people that just pick the best available person per position based on what the draft ranker tells them.
The cutty sharks destroyed us all this week. I still can't believe that some barely cleared 200 as I had two players go down and still made almost 300.
I'm happy my Braves are winning. 7-5 is alright and I'll definitely take it. Heyward is a beast and saved our ***** today. But the no hitter last night was extremely horrible and embarassing.
So, I'm done for the week. My oposition still has Pujols playing. That makes me nervous. I'm only up by 10pts. If anyone is going to get 10 pts... it's Pujols. grrrr.
