My roommate skipped out on part of his workday to attend and said it got louder in there then at a Suns game (which has been marked as being louder than being on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport).

I will say, Lackey looks like a number 1 at this point.
It just is so hard to gauge Beckett and Lester when we are playing the best hitting lineup in baseball.
We play KC next. The Yankee 1-4 hitters cost 20 million more than KC spends on their entire team...
Lackey is looking good, but I'd give him a little more time to settle in and see how he does in Fenway.
He did come from another high profile team, but lets be serious. Pitching in Anaheim for Angels fans is WAY different than delivering day after day in Fenway for Sox Nation. I think he'll end up being the #2 by the end of the month for sure though.
Beckett is the man but he does have his down periods and Lester is still young in age and experience.
Just so you know tater...I'm one of the fans on Boston.com calling for Ortiz's head.
I think Lowell should be facing lefties in a $24 million dollar DH platoon...
I'm pretty good about keeping my cool towards Sox players when they are in a slump. I tend to let all my aggression out during hockey and at the Yanks. :D
As long as the guy is trying and playing hard, I can't really blame him or be upset. And as long as they don't act like a ****** outside of the game I still cheer for them and chant their name when they come up to the plate.
I think listening to the Weiner Whiner Line with my dad daily on our way home helped keep me in check. ;)

Ortiz is not in a slump, he is in a career spiral. We paid him $12 million last year to bat .238? (And .212 v. lefties.)
I bet, if we gave Beckett lots of batting practice, he could hit .238.
Ortiz did just get an RBI hit and that is good. The bad news is he hit it where everyone knew he would.
Had he doubled off the wall I would have been excited. Instead, he just got barely over the shift and in front of the right fielder. That is why he will be battling the Mendoza line this season. Everyone knows his game.
Lowell bats for average and can still hit. He should be facing lefties. That is all I am saying...

So the Yankees are only double (well, almost) the value of the next most valuable team, while the Tigers lost over $29 million last year (only one of two teams to lose money, the Diamondbacks lost $600,000) and the Red Sox made the second most, behind the lowly Marlins (who are clearly pocketing the revenue sharing rather than spending it on players.)
