Ashley's Twitter: "LMAO I have no idea what's going on. I don't get to see the show for another 3 hours but the hate screams I'm a *****. Whatevs. I know it ;) "
I think that both girls are immature in their own ways. I somewhat like them both, but not in this episode's context.
Whoever casted Josh - WORST. DECISION. EVER.
I'm not on anyones side but Ashley is just sometimes a ***** for no reason.
Yeah, I was kind of neutral...until about 5-7 minutes ago haha
Wow, there's no way that Ashley was joking when she said about knowing Erika's Ian story backwards, forwards, and whatever else. She said it so spiteful and out of nowhere, so if I was Erika I'd get pissed at her too.

Amen. The commercial for the next episode that they aired at the beginning of this one makes him seem like a complete poseur, so maybe it's a good thing that he's the invisible roommate.
I changed the title and then I changed it back.
MTV might not show it, but it is an integral part of her time on the show.
I don't think we should bend the title to fit their narrative.

Yeah, definitely. I agree. It's stupid for Erika to go home because of one single roommate though.
Still don't get the dealie on the cancer thing though.
I'm trying to think of which past cast member Ashley reminds me of in the sense of the way she speaks to people.
The edit looks like she constantly goes into conversations, guns loaded. As soon as it doesn't go her way, bam - she raises her voice, doesn't let the other person get their words in, gets upset, and then walks away.
It doesn't make her look good.

If I had to, I'd say Sarah from Hollywood. But I usually tend to avoid comparisons. We're only seeing edits here.

Honestly, if all this **** hadn't come out about Erika and the cancer thing, I would have thought Ashley was the crazier of the two. A therapist could make a lot of money off of these girls, although it would probably take a team of them to figure out what is wrong with them.

No, it's a guy. It's almost like CT (except he doesn't walk away) in the way that he raises his voice to get his point across.
I don't know.

This is probably not who you are thinking of, and I'm not basing this on your description, but the way Ashley speaks reminds me a bit of Rachel from the San Francisco season.
This is the first episode I've watched in a couple of weeks, and I only watched because I figured it might deal with Erika's background. Maybe its because I didn't give the show enough attention overall, but the back and forth between Erika and Ashley sounded ridiculous and just a bunch of babble. Not the talks about having depression. I feel bad for what they've gone through emotionally and mentally. I hope things get better for them. But I think they both get overly dramatic about stuff. I thought Ashley got particularly mean towards Erika when she said she wanted to go home.
I also agree about the aftershow, Insider. I thought they were going to advertise there was one when they announced instead that Callie and Emily would be giving their opinions of what went down as an exclusive on MTV.com.

"learned a big lesson in personal strength and accepting the strengths and weaknesses of others 5 minutes ago from mobile web "
"love all my #rwdc roomies... ps me and @ashleylindley are still friends and love each other 6 minutes ago from mobile web "

I'll help you with figuring out who she reminds you and me of. Every RW and RR and FM cast member.

YES! Thank you. I was having issues narrowing it down.
I can't stand Erica, Ashley was right, she "acts" like a spoiled brat when she doesn't get her way!
BTW... this was the second good RW: DC episode, the other one being ep. 6.
. I thought Ashley got particularly mean towards Erika when she said she wanted to go home.
Here is how I see it in retrospect:
We have a girl that lied for attention about having a terminal illness.
While that may be out of the scope of this conversation, she did speak in this episode about being in a car crash - again for attention.
And now we are talking about interpersonal relationships and you are saying it is wrong of Ashley to have a gut feeling that Erika is saying that she will go home (being of course that she once again is doing it for attention.)
Ashley actually nailed her Modus Operandi, and we can Monday morning quarterback this, but with what we know this is cut and dry. Erika needs attention and will go well beyond moral and ethical boundaries to achieve it.
The fact that Ashely called it, without knowing all the facts is something she should be patted on the back for...not chastised.
