Post-FM yes Gaunlet 3 is good, but pre-FM Any of the Battles as Desert said, or Gaunlet 1 or Inferno 1 blow Guanlet 3 out of the water. As for Post-FM I think Duel 1 or Duel 2 are better than the Gaunlet.
The Duels were interesting in two respects: that the winners were safe from Elimination and the Elimination matches were selected randomly by the participants....
The idea that gay people are considered weak is just not true. First off, look at all the lesbians. Those people are certainly never considered weak, with the exception of Brooke maybe, but she's not really a lesbian. She's more of a straight person who makes out with Evelyn. Anyways, I think Tyler was voted off just because he's annoying, and non one really liked Ryan either. Davis, on the other hand, showed he was pretty strong in the Inferno 3, but I think the ******** were just too scared to go against Alton and in fact, they chose Johnny, probably because it was last the men's inferno and the ****** men just wanted a spot in the final mission.
Only one gay male has ever won a challenge. With the exception of Shane, they're USUALLY targeted first and are considered weak. Davis was an average competitor.

The Gauntlet 3 was probably one of the worst challenges ever. The final mission was pretty good, but honestly, the final challenge should always be and almost always is a obstacle course like race with checkpoints. The cast was okay, not great, not completely horrible, but the missions were absolutely terrible. The concept of each wasn't so bad, but the fact that each mission directly favored a team and gave one a huge advantage made the missions rarely fair at all. Secondly, the gauntlets were even worse. With the exception of sliders, you basically had 4 gauntlets in which the person who weighed more had a clear distinct advantage. In ankle breakers and ram it home, the person who weighed more pretty much won every single time. And the rookies had no business winning that final mission (or even being at the final mission for a few of them) - the vets just got screwed over by Eric.
Only one gay male has ever won a challenge. With the exception of Shane, they're USUALLY targeted first and are considered weak. Danny (NO), Kelley, Coral, Miz, Sean, and Elka won in the first Battle of the Seasons. The New Orleans duo never returned to try another Challenge but walked away a winner.
I wonder what season has the best win ratio of all RW/RR seasons? Cause NO has 3 (Jamie, Danny, Kelly), X-Treme Challenge has 4 (Ibis,Kina,Jodi,Derrick) but maybe another season has more.
Has anyone ever viewed a copy of the contracts cast members sign? I'm hoping someone can shed light on the non-disclosure and provisions clauses specifically. If they are like most contracts they definitely allow the producers to edit, change, manipulate and determine all results and outcomes of the show no matter what REALLY happens. If you people weren't aware of this you should really stop watching reality shows. For instance, refusing to grant Beth's victory although it wasn't mentioned specifically a torn flag was a DQ. The decision to DQ Beth was made afterwards. They refused to provide a copy of the rules. People consistently refusing such requests for information usually have something to hide. Rules are often left intentionally ambiguous,or hazy so producers can make arbitrary decisions/legally cheat on who continues. It's a nice way of saying producers are more involved with determining who makes it to the next level than anyone may actually want to believe. I'd also be willing to bet those contracts changed signifigantly very soon after Fresh Meat was filmed and aired. This is about money. If you think producers won't "ensure" popular cast members safe harbor, and victory because it's good for the bottom line you need an awakening. If you were legally allowed to maneuver the pieces on your chess board in any way suitable to guarantee your desired outcome WITHOUT PENALTY ,wouldn't you? Don't start with the fraud or racketeering laws governing game shows and money excuse. First off,the language of the contract usually exempts producers from such possibilities. $500/1000 an hour lawyers usually know quite a few loopholes to quite a few laws. Second off, most challenges involving big money are purposely conducted outside of the US. This would nullify many US laws especially any the legal team can't sidestep. Did you really think they were always just trying to provide exciting locales? The best way to skirt prohibitive laws/rules/stipulations concerning producing shows/content is to extricate your production from the prohibiting factor,US soil. If you need to suspend your disbelief to enjoy the show by all means do so. However, please don't bash those of us who were gifted with higher levels of logic, and know a bit about these contracts. They also would have an ironclad non-disclosure contract with SEVERE penalties for information leakers. This structure would be ok for me if they would admit in in some fashion. What I don't like is fiction being sold to me as an absolute truth. I realize I may annoy some people but I can't concern myself with that. There is something off with the show and I am not the only one who wants REAL answers. Spare me your usual mantra of "If you don't like it don't watch." The truth still means something to some of us. I should be able to both, view the show, and be fully aware if it's real,or if they apply the legal "fix" and determine the outcome in a more hands on fashion. Finally, please stop holding anything related to The Real World,or Road Rules up as some sort of gold standard of truth. All "reality" shows manipulate reality and the truth. It starts the minute you stick a camera in someone's face and it goes into overdrive in the editing room. Giving a biased exemption to your favorite show still does not make it more "real."
I wonder what season has the best win ratio of all RW/RR seasons? Cause NO has 3 (Jamie, Danny, Kelly), X-Treme Challenge has 4 (Ibis,Kina,Jodi,Derrick) but maybe another season has more.
NOLA has 4. Julie has won as well. And if you include the substitutes for XTreme, Jillian has won one as well. But that would make their percentage lower.
Plus I guess it depends...are you only counting the people on the season who actually participated in the challenges? For example, 2 people on RW Hawaii have won a challenge, and only 4 have participated, so they'd be at 50%...unless you count the three people who were never on a challenge, then it'd drop down to 43%.
I was more referring to out of each season, which one has the most wins.
Austin has 4 wins. Nehemiah, Wes, Johanna & Rachel.
South Pacific has 4 also, out of the only 4 original castmembers who've done challenges. Dave, Abram, Cara & Christena.
Boston also has four.. Syrus, Sean, Elka, and Kameelah
Does anyone know what the chances of Alton being on a future challenge are?
He'll probably be on whatever challenge reaches 4 as he has done Gaunlet 1, Gaunlet 2, and Inferno 3.

Does anyone else think they will extend those challenge to 4 or beyond?
Laterrian? He sucks! Casey at least has gone to a final challenge, Laterrian never amounted to anything on a challenge. Exchange him for Mark Long or Landon and your guy team is pretty good.
Does anyone else think they will extend those challenge to 4 or beyond?
I think there will probably at least 4, I'm not sure about 5 though.

Imagine having all the greats back one last time to see who truly is the best at these things!
Does anyone know what the chances of Alton being on a future challenge are?
As far as I know, he was contacted to be on FM2. So at least you guys know they're still contacting him.

This thread sounds really fun and interesting. We can talk about different challenge face-offs between challengers and speculate who would win? some of the most memorable face offs are: Gauntlet 2 Reverse Tug-O-War Beach Brawl The Duel Pole Wrestle Push Me Gauntlet 3 Force Field Ram It Home Ball Brawl Duel 2 Back Off Pushover Ruins O-Ring Rag Doll A Historicall Face-Off Would be: Kenny vs. Johnny in Back off or Veronica vs. Tonya in Pole Wrestle
Kenny would defeat Johnny, eh, they both suck. Tonya would go CRAZY on Veronica.
I'd love to see Miz vs Kenny in Ball Brawl.. Actual Pro-Wrestler vs Wanna be Pro-Wrestler and the inferno we never got.. Miz vs CT in Pole Wrestle!
I would love to see Abram vs. Darrell in just about any type of gauntlet/inferno/duel but especially beach brawl
i'd love to see Shauvon vs Casey in beach brawl or Back off xD
i'd love to see Shauvon vs Casey in beach brawl or Back off xD
Shauvon would kill her. :p
Shauvon ***** would kill her. :p
fixed it for ya
