I think everyone is acting crazy about the 20th season. I don't think it will be a big deal. Season 10 was just the Inferno 2, nothing special.

The tenth season of the Real world wasnt anything special but twenth had a big celebration
The real world is watched way more than the challenges. The real world had an impact on many people. I like the challenges way better because I like seeing my favs return, but the real world is way more a a big deal than the challenges. I think we might get a special about the last 20 seasons, but not an all star cast. One can dream ;)
Break out some of the real veterans. I'd love see some of the missions revolve around accuracy or agility instead of just strength and endurance. Bring back Puck, the king of mind games, to get under the skin of those unaware of his skills.
Good point about spacing out their challenges, something that Alton and Landon have both been very good about, but I can't help but imagine how much better the Ruins would have been had they cast it better. Would anyone have minded if they casted Alton, Landon, and Abram on the Champions team instead of JEK? Not only are all three of them much better competitors than either Johnny or Kenny, they would have played the game as fairly as possible and not thrown people under the bus like JEK do every chance they get. I realized how much I despise the JEK alliance when they started to make me pull for people that I really can't stand (Evelyn on the Island, Wes on the Ruins). At least we only have to deal with one of them on FM2, and there are enough alpha dogs (Landon, Wes, Darrell) on that will pretty much prevent Kenny from taking over the game.
But Kenny can never take over the game by himself. He is not dominant enough as a solo player.
But Kenny can never take over the game by himself. He is not dominant enough as a solo player.
Exactly my point. Obviously we're going to have to wait and see, but I hope FM2 proves, like the Duel did, that Kenny is a mediocre competitor and relatively useless without having people there to protect him. He probably wouldn't have made it far in FM1 if not for the cast being so hell-bent on breaking up the Austin alliance. I really can't wait to see how this one plays out.
Has anyone from FM on ever seen Alton in action in person on a Challenge? ... It brings up an interesting thing about some of the veterans and the newer people have no clue how to handle them. Makes me wonder if Puck get someone to cry ... like Dunbar

Landon threw people under the bus. Him, Mark, Brad and Evan planned out the lists basically until there were the 2 people left that would go into the Duel. He may not have been as outspoken about it, but if Landon were on the Ruins he would have protected his friends too.

They try to protect and keep their friends there because at the end of the day you would want to win money with your friends over someone you don't even like/care for/hate/Know and that's understandable. But what these people need to understand is that sometimes keeping your friends in the game is going to hurt you and your team and therefore won't be winning anything. Becasue the people your close with may not be all that good of a player/competitor.
Who exactly was thrown under the bus on Duel 2? I don't remember one person getting voted in who had proved they deserved to stay more than the others, with the possible exception of Ruthie. Duel 2 was easily the fairest played challenge since pre-FM, and the people who were there in the end ALL deserved to be there. Yes, even Evan.
ALL deserved to be there. Yes, even Evan.
I don't know about that, I personally thought that with Mark's long layoff of not doing challenges and the fact that he didn't do a faceoff made him unworthy. Everyone else though seemed pretty worthy because either they dominated challenges Rachel or they won faceoffs such as Evan did and Brad did at the end. Though I still think that Evan, Brad, Mark were definately carried by landon winning more than half the challenges.
What did Eric or Derek do to deserve to be there longer than Davis, Nehe, or Isaac? Landon may not have back stabbed anyone, but he still had big control as to who went into the Duel. He could have just protected his alliance, but no- he mapped out the whole order of the list, deciding who would go into the Duel.
It really doesn't matter who gets voted in because which is why the duel is so good, unlike most other shows by you actually getting voted in you get the power to pick the matchup and with that have a handle on if you will or lose. Also I was pretty sure that when they made the list they only really cared about keeping the people safe who they were protecting Evan,Brad,Landon, and Mark and they prefered to put MJ next but they weren't really decisive about and really didn't care as the rest weren't in the immediate alliance. Also when Nehemiah and Davis tried to push agianst the main alliance and couldn't win challenges they were obviously going to fall first. If Davis and Nehemiah had won challenges they would have done the same thing as well. I think Derek deserved to be there as he did beat someone in a duel. Dunbar though made it very far without doing much. Issac was a rookie and I was surprised he wasn't thrown in earlier but that was probably due to him being great entertainment.
What did Eric or Derek do to deserve to be there longer than Davis, Nehe, or Isaac?
It's not Easy or Derek's fault that Davis, Nehemiah, AND Isaac were stupid enough to call out people like Evan and Landon. They probably would have lasted longer in the game had they been smarter and chose opponents that they had a good chance of beating, but they were more concerned with trying to take out the top players than they were with staying in the game. Not Landon's fault.
Has anyone from FM on ever seen Alton in action in person on a Challenge?
He was on Inferno 3, so yes he has been on Post-FM

The duel is a game where you need to either win missions or win duels. They couldn't win missions without eleminating Evan and Landon. Why would you go after an easy target? It would just get you another week at most. You have to think long term in the duel.
Rewatching some Challenges makes me really start to hate certain people all over again. Evelyn actually said on G3 that the two girls that they HAD to lose by the end were Katie and Coral. Ummm, was she aware that Casey, who is arguably the worst player in Challenge history, was still on her team at that point? How can you even BEGIN to infer that Coral was more expendable than Casey? Probably because Ev just wanted to nail Casey. And referring to Coral as "poison" on their team even though they were DESTROYING the Rookies team in the missions makes me think Ev just had something personal left over with Coral from FM and tried to pollute the entire team against her. And I had to laugh when Casey decided she was gonna start talking **** about Coral after she left. Coral would eat her for breakfast. And Ev declaring after that gauntlet that Coral's "legacy" will be that she's a "quitter" who "****ed her entire team over". Didn't Ev do something similar in The Ruins? Coral did 6 Challenges, made it to the end of 4 of them, won one of them, and would have probably made it to the end of FM if not for the injuries to her and Evan. G3 she was probably their strongest girl besides Ev and got thrown under the bus by everyone. There was only one Challenge where she didn't perform well in (G1), but she bounced back nicely in the first Inferno. I don't know what Ev's talking about, but most of us remember Coral's legacy as the original bad *** ***** of the Challenges, one of the top female competitors, both physically and mentally, and somebody that's infinitely more interesting than you and that stupid visor of yours. I'll take Coral over Ev any day on one of these shows. She needs to come back!

That is why I will never ever feel sorry for Ev. She only wants to play the victim when it doesn't work out for her.
So Ive been watching the challenges, and it got me thinking...why do people really hate the JEK (ill get to this soon too) so much. My first taste of them was on the ruins so I naturally hated them cause of the Wes fiasco, and only hated them from what I saw, but in reality..that alliance hasn't been dominating as many challenges as I was thinking. Ill take the challenges as they happened. FM- Nothing here, Aviv won plus Kenny and Evan barely spoke to each other from what I saw. Had Evan not been injured he would've deserved the win period. Duel- Johnny went home first, Kenny soon after and Evan was one of the last to go. Inferno 3- Kenny was on one side, Johnny on the other and to be fair the bad ***** deserved the win, plus there didnt really seem to be an alliance here. Gaunlet 3- Johnny went home first, and Kenny was afraid of going home when his ankle got busted. In the end their plan failed cause of Eric, but the rookies lost..and it was because they where outmatched not because of JEK. The only thing I can see was the Coral situation but that wasnt much, CT was on that as well. The Island- Here is where we get our first glimpse of JK, and our first true taste of the "JEK Alliance" without Evan, this is the first challenge where the alliance actually worked and it was more because of Derrick not Kenny. Duel 2- Evan was alone, no alliance plus he deserved his win. The Ruins- The one true challenge where the alliance was out there in the open and it worked for them. I could get why the hatred after this challenge but not before, because this was the first true JEK alliance challenge.
Evan definately deserved the win especially with making up all that time in final misson. It was not really fair that they had to wait for the girls to get there in order to continue as the Duel is supposed to be a one person challenge but it was still impressive that he won.On the Island I noticed that they didn't start really calling the shots until Ab went home. Sure they were jerks but no one really listened to them until he left. Johnny was definatley lucky Ab wanted to go home or else he would have went home.
That's why G3 is a challenge I don't rewatch. Too many people annoyed me and I was upset with a number of things that were going on. I was a little annoyed by stuff on the Rookies team, even. Entropy, the main issue a lot of people seem to have with JEK is how they treat people, I think (other issues - they aren't RW/RR, BMP puts too much footage of them in the shows, etc). It's not fact that they group together, although the fact that they do group together and dominate is annoying to people who don't like them, because they want them to get off their screens. People want to see their favorites win, and if they don't like JEK, then it's annoying. Gauntlet 3 was really when people got very annoyed with them. Watching that challenge, you can see a lot of stuff that would make people upset. Johnny really wasn't hated on until The Island, where he was quite rude to the women on the show.
The Island, where he was quite rude to the women on the show.
In all fairness Johnny was quite rude on a number of occasions during his Real World season. In all likelyhood the producers probably played it down on the Inferno 3 as he was supposed to be a "good guy".
I'm not saying he was a saint on other seasons, just that The Island is where many people's opinion of Johnny soured. That really is what happened. There were a few people who were annoyed with him during Inferno 3 as well, though. We don't really know if he was more on edge on The Island or on his own season, but we were shown a cooler, funner Johnny then at the very least.
RubenJay, please check your PMs. As for where you would like to illegally watch videos, please do not post any ways of doing them here, and please do not ask.
thanks molds for clarifying that for me.
What??? I don't even know what PMs are.
what??? i dont even know what PMs are.
:dash1: Well you should. To the right of your screen, you will see a box that says MEMBER PANEL. For you, it should say Welcome, RubenJay05. You last visited: xx hours ago at xx:xx AM. Then it says: PRIVATE MESSAGES: Unread xx, total xx. You need to click on the link for private messages, and then read however many you have. I have a feeling there are multiple unread ones. For a member who's been here almost a year, you should definitely know this by now. And I would recommend this for EVERYONE...you can go to your user options and have something pop up that notifies you when you have a new private message.
The next challenge should be real world/ jersey shore. That would be awesome tv!
The next challenge should be real world/ jersey shore. That would be awesome tv!
Okay people need to stop with this Jersey Shore thing, it will never happen. BMP already deluded this franchise with The Stale Meat so we don't need anyone else that wasn't from RW/RR on this show.
