MJ is another pointless castmember, he doesn't have a big fanbase, he really adds nothing, the dip in his mouth is always annoying. However it's no shock BMP keeps bringing him.
I was looking through and didn't find one, so I was hoping to get everyone's heads together and create a list, official or unofficial, of all the people from past Real World and Road Rules seasons that are officially "retired" from the Challenges. Or the people who never did one and said they never will. From The Ruins, I got out of it that Katie was going to stop and settle down. Is that confirmed?
There are plenty of threads on people, but I thought this would be a good collaboration of all (unless someone has already done one of these, my bad, i'm a newb.)
Katie said she was done (again) but she also thought she was coming back and getting married. However she just moved to Tennessee and is finishing school there so I inless it was summer challenge I wouldn't expect to see Katie anytime soon which is sad I love Katie.

Officially...as announced..i think its only Eric Nies, Miz and Timmy Beggy.
When someone quits a challenge does BMP officially just rule them retired or do they give them a chance to come back and prove they can do another challenge? I was just wondering this as a few castmates such as Dave have quit and I was wondering if someone can get blacklisted.

MJ is a decent filler cast member. The dips are a personal opinion, and I'd much rather see him than the usuals.

Katie didn't get married?
Where at in Tennessee?

Athens, Tennessee and she said on twitter that she was going to Tennessee Wesleyan College.

I think they call people they know will say yes JEK,Paula types,Then Newbies like FM2/Cancun types who seasons recently ended within a couple months then They call vets who said the'll do another like Ruthies ad Marks.
I think that MJ is a good/solid castmember to the challenges. The problem that is that when they bring him in he is used as an alternated and so with doing that he can't create alliances fro mthe get go and he gets allianted. Though if he was brought from the beginning of a challenge he could do extremely well as was show on the Duel 2.
I want Abrham Boise back on a challenge. After he left the island it got really boring....fast.
I'm sure it is well known around here that Derrick is my favorite cast member but next to him is Abram. Not only is he a very good competitor, physically, mentally, strategist, and leader, he has mellowed out since I2 but is still entertaining. I wish he comes back too but if not, then that must mean that something good is going on for him.
Knowing the competitive nature of Abram throughout the challenges I wouldn't be surprised to see him back if not just to see his early departure from the Island forgotten.
yea this is prolly a little off topic, but i would like to see kendall and sarah from campus crawl do another challenge, i saw sarahs myspace, and man she has really lost some weight since i last saw her on the gauntlet, not saying that in a mean way either
The challenges for the past three seasons have sucked. I mean it's not that difficult, the challenges in question have to be really hard or seem really fun. Movement, athletiscm, teamwork (like I mean a lot), or smarts have to be showcased. We wanna see things we wouldn't be able to do.
The challenges recently have fallen into a "fear" contest, in that mostly height related challenges have been used. We wanna see running, climbing, swimming, ATHLETIC events: Basically a lot of MOVEMENT or pure comedy like an ice ream eating contest. And HARD challenges so we can see who is cut out and who isn't. No flower, holding someone over a ledge, whoever is designing these needs to go.
My Point: NO MORE HEIGHT MISSIONS.
The Rundown:
Island: no challenges...great idea BMP...
Duel II:
1st challenge. Good to see tackling, movement, athletiscm, strength all showcased; BUT the second part was so bad, falling into the trap of what is wrong with the current challenges = letting numbers win instead of attributes
2nd. So boring, nothing showcased.
3rd. GREAT, we as an audience could see who is performing at a high level and who is just all talk, and some surprises were noticed.
4th. Good, we saw running and puzzle solving. Atletiscm, endurance, smarts. Good combo.
5th. Holding someone over a ledge...just NO it's not fun to watch AT ALL.
6th. Again no timed trial, height missions. PLEASE.
7th. AGAIN, they aren't moving and its HEIGHT. UGH.
8th. WOW, again height and not much moving. All your going to end up with is boring missions.
9th. Was boring times infinity, at least it was something different...
Ruins:
1st. Couldn't tell who was good or bad...if it wasn't for Wes this mission = boring. Heights again...
2nd. Absolutely terrible...again heights...
3rd. Good, not secluded to a tight space and fun to watch. THEY ACTUALLY HAD TO SUFFER AND WoRK!
4th. Good, except till Casey of course... good casting BMP...
5th. Good, lots of space, strength, endurance. Too bad challengers suck.
6th. GREAT, if the numbers were closer I would like to see this again.
7th. Good, except for Casey AGAIN. UGH a lot of these missions could of been better if she wasn't there. The drama she brought wasn't worth the competition at all imo.
8th. Bad, so short teams were already screwed at this point.
9th. Dreadful, my grandmother could do this.
We need to get back to Surf Torture, Dodge Your Balls, Zip Up and missions where the true top dogs stand out. Not missions where everyone but Casey can blend in. Lines between the competitors need to be divided. A lot of the problems could of been solved if the teams were made a little more even. For that check out my post in Create Your Own Challenge thread.
What happened to when missions were great open spaces of running, swimming, climbing all in the same mission like the Duel , Inferno 2, Gauntlet 2. We as an audience could actually see some crazy stuff and be impressed, not like it is today. Most of the duel missions had multiple parts and had lots of different things tested. Nowadays if your not scared of heights and your name isn't Casey you won't suck...I miss the days when DQs and poor performances were common because of the difficulty of the missions.
I think challenges suck now because instead of girls being the bud of drama, guys are. And thats just not as fun to watch that a bunch of *****y girls.

I could not have made a better post. The ridiculous amounts of height-based missions are almost as bad as the stale, over-recycled cast members. Its like BMP forgot the meaning of the word "variety". Seriously, do they honestly think we ENJOY watching the same old "Oooooohh boo hoo, I'm too scared! I don't wanna do it, its too highhh!" 50 times in a challenge? A few times I'll tolerate. But come on now, enough is enough. They might as well rename the show to "Who Wants to be an Acrobat?"

I agree with Cystic. You have some great ideas! I agreed with all of your points and it was very well written out. :)
***BMP, if you're reading this-take note!***
I LOVED the "stairway to heaven" mission. The one with the 80ft. zig-zag ladders and you had climb up as fast as you can in 1 minute. It was colored and for each zone you passed, you gained 5 points. The ladders weren't even connected which was pretty difficult looking.
An alliance with JEK has most of the time proven to be ineffective for the non-JEK parts, so why does every **** castmember still want in? I'll analyze the last three challenges because that's when the real JEK complete domination/takeover took place. That's why I don't necessary understand how people can be ****** off when they got "screwed over. Give me a break, the writing was on the wall on who was in the real alliance from day one of every challenge. Are these people just that stupid or naive?
Let's see here
The Island: only 4 could of made it to the end
The Duel: only 3
The Ruins: only 5 of each ***.
And you have the audacity to ***** and complain about JEK screwing you guys over!? They will take you as far as they can and then throw you to the wayside. Just look at the last three challenges it was basically the same thing three times!Simple math and logic could have gone a long way for these castmembers.
I miss Jonny Moseley. That's all.
****, I am in such an agreement there. At least when Moseley reads out the rules, he says it with charisma and intelligence. TJ sounds like he's just trying to get his sentences over with as quick as possible so he can get paid already. Ugh.

I know! I'm rewatching The Gauntlet 1 and Moseley is the best! And he seems to genuinely enjoy his job.
Brynn a Mohother and Sarah or Melanie is a school teacher so I definitly dont see them doing one =(
Brynn is a mother.
Sarah, last I heard, is a lawyer.
Plus Brynn said she was tryning to change her party ways on the RW Las Vegas reuinon cause she has children so she would not be the same Brynn as Real Wold Las Vegas Brynn if she went on a challange.
I would love for Brynn to come do a challenge.
I would also love to see Cameron (San Diego), Leah (Paris), and Melinda (Austin) do another challenge. :)
I was always shocked that Brynn never did a challenge until Reuninted. I always thought that she would have been at the top of list of people to call, but now I know why she hasn't done any. If I remember correctly she was supposed to do Gauntlet 3 but backed out at the last minute.
I would love to see Cameran too! I doubt that Danny would let Melinda do anymore.
