Her girlfriend said that she realized they were a waste of time. She also said that she thinks that doing excessive challenges change you.

Yes cause her almost 10 days accumulated on challenges would give her the best judgement on a challenge being a waste of time, although I sort of agree with the second statement (example Johnny, he was passable on Gaunlet 3, Duel and Inferno 3...then came the island)

He's always been whiny, loud and annoying except it became more upfront on The Island.

Derrick announced on his twitter today that he isn't done with challenges.

He was whiny, but Susie and especially Cara in the giraffe mission gave him every reason to be, but he wasnt as big of a dbag as he was on the Island..I guess Inferno 3 was when he started to change.

I actually liked Bananas on I3. He became unlikeable on G3.

I think I read something about that Evan being originally chosen for Key West but didn't have a work visa to work in the United States (since he was a Canadian citizen). I remember it had to do with work and school with him.

In regards to Derrick, I think he is a competitor enough that he will be back. I also think he avoided the question on Twitter. The Battle style of Challenges was one I always favored because it was point based and people could see where they sat in the rankings on their team, not that this guaranteed they would get the chance to stick around. (Veronica, courtesy of Emily -- she may have hated the way she was edited but as Heather B said at the very first reunion "They worked with what you gave them.")

Why would he not come back? The last 3 challenges he has been on he has made money. He has paid his dues and now he is reaping the rewards.

Welcome for the update. From what I've heard, and talked to them both about, they seem to be really genuine guys, you know? I mean, they treat me with a lot of respect, and use cute words. They're both actually coming to spend my 18th with me, since they wanted to visit Derrick, who lives here in West Virginia as well, and Kenny's birthday is April 6th, and mine is April 2nd. As Kenny puts it: "Killing two birds with one stone." I'm really excited that they're both up for it!

Thanks for the update Mary! I'd actually like it if Kenny or Evan came around here, just to get their view on some things.
