Real World: Washington DC - Trailer
The Real World DC Trailer Your browser does not support iframes. Eight strangers convene in Washington DC to pursue their dreams. The Real World DC premieres Wednesday December 30th at 10 PM ET/PT.
This season looks boring.
If the other promos are like this then this season could be really bad! I am disappointed. It seems like MTV was trying to do something new with the trailer and it was a complete fail.
Most of the trailer was Andrew joking around.
I liked it. lol.

The Cancun trailer was a fail and the season was also a complete fail...but at least they look like interesting people, anything will be better than last season. I lovveeeeee Andrew already.
It was so different though. It didn't show any drama at all.
Wowww this season looks really boring :ohwell:
I have no idea how the season will be from that trailer. It was a poor effort. I am not going to judge what will come on that as it was practically a fluff piece in comparison to recent trailers. Clearly there is someone new at the helm. That out of the way, there was a bit of hope in there and we actually know there is a lot of cool stuff that happens this season. So, let's wait until it kicks off and not "hate" the season because MTV can't get someone to make a reasonable trailer. At least that is how I personally see it. Although...people should be fired...
True last season was generally really boring. The only cast member I found entertaining was Bronne and he was underplayed on the season. At least here they realize Andrew is going to make or break the season.
I actually think that Cancun was a great season. The trailer for this season was different but I will still tune in.

B is right, we do know a lot of information thanks to Wiggy & co. I figured we would at least get the shot of Ty throwing someone off the balcony..lol.

And lets not forget guys, this isn't supposed to be a "party" season.
If MTV wants to improve ratings, this is not the way to do it. The trailer sucks but MAYBE the season will be better
This was okay, though the only reason I'm really excited as of now is because of Andrew. He reminded me so much of Ryan when he was saying "This is the true story" at the beginning.

The trailer seemed to be showing a lot of Andrew, Mike, and Emily...and hardly any Erika. I wanted to see some of her shenanigans.
I was disappointed that we didn't get to see any of the drama that Erika is supposed to bring, too!
I was disappointed that we didn't get to see any of the drama that Erika is supposed to bring, too!
Maybe they want to keep her a surprise? Because we didn't see ANY drama. There will be still be a second trailer. We still have the "This season on the real world..."
I was disappointed that we didn't get to see any of the drama that Erika is supposed to bring, too!
I am shocked that they did not make that the center point of the clip. This trailer is not going to grab The City crowd when it runs tonight. I just having a feeling. I know all of us are going to watch, but I am just saying that I don't think they did a good job. Frankly, it was in line with a standard True Life weekly trailer - not something for an epic 12 episode run.
I think all of the roomies look stunning! I'm glad they showed Andrew alot, I freaking miss him! The part with us snuggling got me a bit choked up!!! For those who don't like the trailer: I sincerely hope you will at least give the show a chance, and not be turned off just by the trailer. Young people with goals, trying to make a difference in the world (which is what DC does...), discovering themselves, falling in love, growing as individuals... isn't boring. Its positive! Of course there will be drama, hookups, partying...those are staples to all RW seasons as well as just being in your 20s!... but you have to keep in mind that the 'city' often becomes a major character in the season, and it different depending on where it is. Hollywood = everyone trying to be famous Cancun = spring break, much more drunken drama DC = its the era of obama and trying to change the world in a positive manner This season is a bit more grown up than the rest... but what's wrong with that?
I am holding out hope that we can see better stuff. Why are none of the cast posting yet? Cancun had at least 3 cast members posting by the time their trailer came out.

We still have the "This season on the real world..."
I was thinking the same thing. This is the far forward teaser, and we will get some drama in the coming weeks. That might not be a bad strategy. I hope that is what is in play for the sake of the series.
I have a feeling we are going to be getting a different trailer airing during the Ruins finale. Emilee told Ashley that she was "jealous" after watching the trailer aired at the finale, so we will see...

True Life has trailers? I am just glad this isn't a party season.
Why are none of the cast posting yet? Cancun had at least 3 cast members posting by the time their trailer came out.
MTV has fully come down on the cast this time around. Don't expect to see them until after the premiere.

It kind of reminds me of Brooklyn, which was the best season since San Diego. I thought I spotted you snuggling with him, he looks hilarious.
I think Emilee was saying that she was jelous because the Ruins cast got to see it and she didn't.
True Life has trailers?
What I am thinking about is the thing they play 30 seconds before an episode where it tells you what is going to happen. Not exactly a trailer, but in a sense, yes?

Still looking forward to it...
