Nobody wants to see people get drunk and **** all the time. That is why BK did better than Cancun.
Regardless, we have seen a trailer, and not even an episode yet. We should wait to make judgements until the season airs. And you think FM2 will be better than DC? Your nutsssss. You should try asking the cast members how much fun Canada was.
Based on the trailer, they are my views.
Hey, I liked Season 21. They were very inspiring people. I don't need to see *** and drinking to enjoy a show. DC don't seem very inspirational. How are 8 people on a reality show going to change the country, like some cast members are claiming? These people just seem flat out boring; however I will give this show a shot. I hope that I change my mind. If not I think this will be the end for my with RW and the challenges.
And based on the trailer fresh meat 2 (which also seems like a mess) should be better than DC.

Um...really?
It's not the cast's fault that production put together an awful trailer. Maybe another trailer will change your mind.
Based on the information that wiggy has provided us, I feel that this season should be quite interesting.
At one point in the trailer I thought Emily was actually Colie!
I was expecting Erika to be my favorite but after watching the trailer I can't honestly say that any of them left any impression on me. Andrew looks funny, but annoying. Callie is really cute
Trailer looked TERRIBLE.
It was really, really, really boring.
I'll still watch b/c according to wiggy there'll be some good stuff. The sad thing is that I only know that it has some things worth watching b/c I read vevmo frequently. If I didn't, and I just watched that preview, I wouldn't even think about turning on the TV December 30th at 10!
i loved the trailer, i dont know what everyone expects from a 2 minute clip? i guess im just excited because im from DC and cant wait to see parts popular areas around the city on tv.
i don't think the trailer was that awful, but that is probably because i am glad to see a change from the screaming and fighting from the last season. i use to love all that drama, but now that i am getting older i want to see some more mellow people. maybe it will be a little more realistic because from my personal experience life isn't always the screaming drama the make sure to show. i am not saying that watching some drama isn't fun, but after a while you see the same thing season after season something a little different could be nice for a change.
That trailer ******* sucks. I don't think I've seen a preview that boring in a while. I thought the Cancun season sucked, but they still managed to make an entertaining trailer for it. With the DC trailer, I'm not interested at all in any of the new cast members. Andrew looks and acts like a blond Ryan (complete with being the focus of the trailer), none of the crazy **** that happened was shown, and I am still wondering why the season is premiering between Christmas and New Year's.
I might skip this season. If they can't even edit a trailer to be interesting, I don't have much hope for twelve full episodes.

And I think you just proved the point that a good trailer does not make an interesting season. ;)

I never said anything bad about the cast. All I said was based on the trailer this season seems like a snore. Many people feel to same the same way as I do. I hope I am wrong.

I don't know. If they can make a good trailer for a boring season like Cancun, then why haven't they done the same for DC? I'll give DC a shot, but I don't think it bodes well for viewers if BMP can't even slap together a two-minute trailer. Call me shallow, but if they're going to air the trailer on a night of The Hills/City, they could at least throw in a catfight or a few arguments!
I think all of the roomies look stunning! I'm glad they showed Andrew alot, I freaking miss him! The part with us snuggling got me a bit choked up!!!
For those who don't like the trailer: I sincerely hope you will at least give the show a chance, and not be turned off just by the trailer.
Young people with goals, trying to make a difference in the world (which is what DC does...), discovering themselves, falling in love, growing as individuals... isn't boring. Its positive! Of course there will be drama, hookups, partying...those are staples to all RW seasons as well as just being in your 20s!... but you have to keep in mind that the 'city' often becomes a major character in the season, and it different depending on where it is.
Hollywood = everyone trying to be famous
Cancun = spring break, much more drunken drama
DC = its the era of obama and trying to change the world in a positive manner
This season is a bit more grown up than the rest... but what's wrong with that?
Andrea, I think you are hitting the nail on the head. We should take a look at the city to get a sense of the show. I've not read what others have written yet, but I imagine many will second your sentiments as I am. I am SO tired of the endless drama and the characterization of young life today as centered around partying and dysfunction...if for no other reason that to the degree that life imitates art, we could be seriously screwed as a society if we had nothing but a steady diet of the same stuff all the time. We ABSOLUTELY need to see young people taking stands on issues and to care and to engage politics, advocacy, and volunteerism seriously...even as they have the fun that they will inevitably have.
So, I was encouraged by the trailer and liked it. The cast seems fun, interesting, and are easy on the eyes. I'm excited for the season...and for a "change" to be a little cliche.

There was a point during the Denver trailer ( the hot tub scene with Tyrie, Brooke and Jenn) that I actually thought Jenn was Colie!
Andrew kind of seems annoying.. Even in the house your video, just kind of obnoxious..? Same goes for Ty..
But I'll wait til the season airs to make a final "judgment" haha
Where do you see depth? I just don't see it. The only thing that I saw with any "depth" was the scene with Ashley talking to Mike about his sexuality. The rest was mostly flirting... and Andrew
I think the trailer looked interesting enough, The people as a group seem to have more depth to them as first glance than the more recent seasons.
I agree. Can't wait! :)
Andrew kind of seems annoying.. Even in the house your video, just kind of obnoxious..?
That's my opinion of him. I'm hoping it is just the trailer that makes it seem like he's hamming it up for the camera, and not the fact that he'll be that cheesy for twelve episodes.
Apparently another teaser clip aired last night on MTV, but is not up on MTV.com.
I missed it (grrrr), but a friend of mine said it was pretty good, and focused more on drama, scandal, and debauchery....
Anybody catch it??

I saw it a few times last night. Much more fast-paced than the first. I thought it was good. Didn't see much of your boy though. ;)
I just saw the new commercial and it was certainly better. The season is still not looking that great, though. This one made me a little more interested than the trailer.
Just killed some braincells watching Jersey Shore, but caught the new DC commercial.
It went SO fast, but I liked it :)
Should be up on MTV.com pretty soon.
