I really love the look of the house.
Have you guys seen this? I found it and I don't know if someone previously posted it before but if not here it is. Its a tour of the house done by the roommates. D.C. cast members of 'The Real World' show off their house - washingtonpost.com
Dan Zak, who wrote several stories for the Washington Post over the last several monhts sent this to me last night, but I didn't get to it until today - fortunately for all of you fans, it's been posted already. I can tell you that the roommates are thrilled that their identity is now officially out, because they can now "exist."
And like that...they were gone. (At least in a few days BMP will have completely left town, and the neighbors will have their parking back.) Here's a picture of the dumpster outside the house. I can already tell that Emily is going to be the Baya of this season...for some reason it just kind of looks like the editors will forget her.
According to the bloggers, her and Ty are rumored to have been hooking up in the house so that'll defnately get air time. I do hope they show more than that though because reading her poetry she seems like a genuinely really nice person with actual depth so I hope that she isn't portrayed as just a hook-up. A lot of the bloggers said she was their favorite.

Andrew is going to be the funny one, like Ryan. I seen the tweet that Erika comes back? I knew she was, for the cast pictures. That is the real reason why Joey came back, so they could do the photo shoot, not just be there for the finale.
BTW, for some reason, the house to me has an old school Real World feel. Its reminds me of RW Paris and RW New Orlean's house.
I agree. It automatically reminded me of the New Orleans house. It looks like the Boston house on the exterior, however. I like it! One thing I really like is how they set up those flags in the confessional room. MTV should start running promos now!
Andrew is a lot less geeky then I thought he was going to be.
anyone get the feeling that Andrew and Ty will be this seasons Chet & Ryan. and that they'll be the stars this season

So when do you guys think the trailer will out for this? How long before the premiere does it usually come out?
So when do you guys think the trailer will out for this? How long before the premiere does it usually come out?
I'll take a stab and say December 2nd. Earlier would be better, but MTV has been failing massively at the whole marketing concept of late (as franchise ratings continue to nose dive.) I personally think their decision to air the series premiere on December 30th was ludicrous (I hope to be proven wrong) but I guess someone in a suit with their executive dart set hit that date and that date it is... The Cancun trailer aired exactly four weeks previous to its premiere (The Brooklyn Trailer aired 8 weeks before its premiere.) So let's hope for this week, but following recent trends expect last Wednesday of November, first Wednesday of December.

Too early for a trailer tonight? I was just thinking that Brooklyns trailer aired really early.
This video looks a bit more into other aspects of the house; the phone room, the bathroom, the office (check the rug!), and the pool tub area are all shown. The house really fits the theme of Real World D.C.
I just read a cool online article that indicates (as many have hoped in this forum, including me) that this cast did some significant work in their internships. It will be cool to see how they took advantage of being in the political hub of the country. I copied this from realworlddcnewz twitter in case anyone wants to read it. Wiggy writes: Expect plenty of #RWDC news this week as the embargoed until November "media day" stories are being published http://tinyurl.com/yk5qrab
The entire house..except for the bathroom and kitchen!
Oh. Well that is a matter of opinion I guess. I think most if not all of the RW houses have some sort of a "gaudy" factor worked in, but I think it's neat all the same.

Everything is stars stripes and presidents..
This will be as good as Austin.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I liked Austin a lot, but I don't know about you?
Austin had Wes, Johanna, Danny and Melinda. Austin and Key West were probably my favorite seasons.
I am predicting that the trailer will be released in 2 weeks.
This will be as good as Austin.
Austin was the ONLY season that I watched in its entirety - definitely my favorite, and quite possibly the best season so far. Personal reasons aside, I think DC will easily top Austin!

Wow, Austin has nothing compared to seasons like Seattle, San Francisco, and BROOKLYN even! Brooklyn was a great season! Hopefully D.C. is as good as the recent seasons have been (Hollywood and Brooklyn)... Cancun however was a mess.
