Okay Question time again. So we've had... Good Guys vs Bad *****. Rookies Vs Veterans Real World Vs Road Rules Boys Vs Girls And Currently Challengers vs Champions So how would you like to see the teams divided on future challenges?
I know BMP will probably wont do it because it mean them accepting the basis of a controversial subject.. but i do believe it would be great to see RW/RR vs FRESH MEAT... bringing back rarely seen veterans would be great, but even without them, it would be cool.. for example.. Wes, Brad, Johnny, Paula, Vs Evan, Kenny, Diem, Evelyn.. but i leave it up to more experienced posters.. can anyone come with 2 really awesome (feaseble) line-ups ?
I know it'll never happen, but I'd like for them to go back to Real World VS Road Rules. Maybe just one last challenge for old time sakes.

I agree with Lambchop. Having a RW/RR is practically a new concept now since we haven't seen that since the Inferno. They could always just have them enter the challenge as individuals, and have a challenge where the winner could divides them into groups or whatever, and have Red vs. Blue or whatnot. That'd be kind of interesting, just adding a new element to the whole challenge. I would like to see a competitive Battle of the Sexes. They could definitely have one. The problem is that they keep loading the girls team with girls who you know just aren't going to win anything. On the Battle of the Sexes II: Cynthia, Cameran, Angela? come on. Replace these people with Evelyn, KellyAnne, and someone like Susie maybe. I think they could do a improved Island challenge where there's 1 winner, but it'd be tough cause they'd have to make it non-survivorish. I was thinking: RW/RR or whatever (definitely a pre-determined team thing in order to stray away form survivor). Then the winning team could nominate 3 people from the losing team. The losing team could then save 1 of the their 3 nominees, leaving the other 2 to face off in the elimination round. When it gets down to individuals, the individual winner picks 3 others, with the rest voting for which of the 3 to save. And once again, the non-saved people would face off, with the loser going home. At least I think it's better than the whole stupid key thing, which was the dumbest thing ever.
I'll be happy with any challenge as long as it is not The Island 2.
I'll be happy with any challenge as long as it is not The Island 2.
Ain't gonna argue with that.:D I don't think even BMP would be that desperate or that stupid either...
Ain't gonna argue with that.:D I don't think even BMP would be that desperate or that stupid either...
Looking at their abysmal cast for FM2, I'm not so sure about their motives for Challenges anymore. I just hope this is part of the whole good challenge, bad challenge, good challenge pattern people seem to be noticing.
I think The Island, with a better cast, could potentially be an interesting social experiment. But not for a challenge. Just more of a RW season format.
Has anyone here has done their own RW/RR Challenge Hookup Chart (L-word like) ? come to think of it, would be really interesting (albeit a little morbid).. check this one : http://remotecontrol.mtv.com/2009/10/27/holy-incestuousness-introducing-the-first-ever-rwrr-hookup-chart/

Do you remember the first hook-up chart? I think it went some like Mike the Miz, to Tara, to Dan to Holly to Timmy to Becky to Theo to Coral to Steven to Trishelle to Eric, to Kendal to Blair to Keri to Kyle to Lori to Kevin to Jisela to Malik? Wow I can't believe I remembered that!
they should change the name of the show to real world real world rejects challenge
they should change the name of the show to real world real world rejects challenge
... Doesn't have the same flow as ROAD RULES does... even if the Road Rulers are lacking these days, they shouldn't take them out of the title.
Even though the name might not be as catchy, nowadays the Challenge is more of a "The Real World/Road Rules/Fresh Meat Challenge" feel to me.
The producers have to know that JEK makes the show to predictable. I mean I like them however at the same time if I have to see another season of them I will most likely not watch because I pretty much know whats going to happen.
LOL that hookup chart is very incomplete. If it were full it could probably fill up the entire Old Testament. I'm assuming they were only interested in the newer challenges though as everybody on the chart has appeared in the last 3 or 4 challenges I think. But throw Jodi or someone in there and there's a whole new tree they could make.
Even though the name might not be as catchy, nowadays the Challenge is more of a "The Real World/Road Rules/Fresh Meat Challenge" feel to me.
Even catchier would be "The Real World/Fresh Meat/Occassional Road Rules Challenge"!:D It fits the bill perfectly and doesn't give the FM cast the smack which BMP would NEVER give them considering how much drama and ratings they've given them in return.

I mean I like them however at the same time if I have to see another season of them I will most likely not watch because I pretty much know whats going to happen.
i, respectfully, disagree.. honestly, like it was discussed on a FM thread, even though the JEK Bashing (or FM bashing in general) in Vevmo is great, the reality is that the FM kids and JEK, in particular have a lot of fans. I think is akin to the Yankees-feelings outside NY.. there is a lot of outspoken bashing, but there is also a greater number of fans who dont feel the need to be outspoken, since usually the louder the bashing, the better the team is usually doing. Now in the same fashion, a powerhouse like the Yankees in MLB, or Real Madrid in European Soccer that usually have a lot of historic success, due to great lineups, do not win as nearly as much as you would expect. the same with JEK.. on Duel 1, Evan dominated but couldnt win.. on G3.. JEK did not win, and johnny didnt even made it to the final.. on the Island, Kenny and Johnny ulimately won thanks to Evelyn support.. Evan and Johnny have won only once, and Kenny only 2 times.. their domination of the challenge, has not translated into domination of the glory.. having a lot of power does not guarantee you a win, and makes it the more interesting because it creates anti-heroes like Wes or rebel leaders like Ev on the Island.. or triumphing underdogs like the rookies on G3 It has been mentioned before that before FM, there was also a dominant group (with Coral, CT, etc), until the torch was passed.. the same will happen sooner or later with the FM1 kids and their allies.. When the Pistons dominated my dear Bulls in the Bad Boy era, i didnt want the NBA to forbid them to compete, i wanted my team to overcome them.. and when it happened, it was greater the satisfaction.. and when the Bulls dominated, there were Bulls fans and Bulls haters.. but no one ask for them to be taken out of the league. just an opinion.

What did Evan do that was so bad on the Duel 2? Evan was the most tolerable on the Duel 2 since his first challenge. Mark was running the Duel 2, not Evan.
Evan was cocky and annoying on The Duel 2. Mark can run a challenge and still not be an ***** but Evan just can't do it.

Like I said I like JEK, however I think that BMP need to give them a rest for a while and focus on other fan favorites and see if that will help rating.
Good for Evan. I don't hate him, he just irritates me enough to keep me from watching the show.
on G3, i do believe it was CT calling the shots, and the other guys following his lead, it doesnt absolve them of the shadiness played, but Karma catched up with all of them.. on Duel 2, it was indeed Mark leading the Big Guys alliance.. and Evan was even on the outer rim of it, reason he was called twice early.. i do believe kenny and Johnny took it too far on the Island, and i was rooting for Ev (who i didnt like before that challenge).. and i think Johnny is conciously trying to rehab his image on The Ruins (as much as his personality allows him to) I wouldnt mind see them win the Ruins, as long as some old school veternas (like Sy and Susie are on the bandwagon).. but if a G3-kind of upset happend it would be good for me too.

CT would have been awesome on the challengers team. CT, Adam, Shauvon, and Diem on the challengers team? That would have been awesome, lol.
He will give a **** when he has to get a real job because the challenge is canceled because nobody could stand to watch him. EDIT tj, Why do you think that people don't like hime because he is from Fresh Meat? Most people don't like hime because of his personality.

Point is, there are tons of annoying alumni other than Evan, Kenny, Diem, etc. that don't get picked on as much because they were on Real World or Road Rules.
I don't think that most people care about what season, if any, a person was on. A lot of the Fresh Meaters are just annoying. I wish that they would invite back the cool Fresh Meaters like Aviv or Linette.
