I was thinking back to BOTS2 and Steven (RW Vegas) in particular. No wonder they've never invited him back since! Not only the obvious such as behaving like a chauvinist after the electric pole victory which earned him Sophia's ire and slapping Shane which almost singlehandedly cost the guys the mission but lucky for them they could pull out a victory even then *whew*, but how in the world could you possibly get the question of the FIRST person kicked out of The Real World WRONG?! He answered Puck and everyone was disappointed with good reason since we all know that the correct answer was David E. Like really, are you even a fan of the show?! Apparently not...
I didn't care much for Steven on BOTS2 either. I really liked hom on both of his season of RW, though.
He was pretty much the same in his first Vegas season only in both stays he wasn't really that chauvinistic like in BOTS2. The substitute for that in Reunited was being a drunken fool and very whiny when the whole "Jew" joke done by Alton offended him and they didn't leave the second time around on a friendly note. I wonder if they ever eventually patched things up but trying to reconcile with a guy like Steven, it's like Alton said in confessional: "The dude can go ahead and cry his way back to L.A. for all i care!"
Ugh, Steven. He seems like one of the biggest ********** to ever be on the show. However, I can't fault him for getting the David question wrong since you don't have to be a fan of the show to get on the show. Especially when Steven was cast, it was not uncommon for people to have never watched the show or at least not a lot. Plus, everybody knows Puck, not everybody knows David E. I think I read somewhere that Steven refuses to come back to MTV because his slapping incident was on the 25 Greatest Challenge Moments and the comments made it look like it was done due to homophobia. I think I may have read that on TWOP.
If I had to answer that question I would say Puck, too. There are so many seasons now that I would forget that LA came before San Fransisco.
It sucks to see Wes lose, but at least it means that other people will start going in. I did a little research, and Wes is 8-1 in eliminations, while Johnny is 0-2 and Kenny is 2-1. Wes has done 3 challenges and has gone in 9 times while Kenny has done 6 times and gone in 3 times while Johnny has done 5 challenges and only gone in twice (and hasn't won).
Johnny won a faceoff against Derrick and Cohutta on The Island.
veronica won 2 lifeshields on her own in the gauntlet(the last one saving her from the gauntlet) she won 1 lifeshield on the inferno by herself saving herself from the inferno and she won half of the final challenge for challenge 2000, had it not been for her and dan(rr5) road rules wouldn't have won challenge 2000
the only times she ever gunned for anyone were for katie on the inferno and tonya on the inferno II when they were the weakest links it was just an added bonus that she happened to hate
ehhh don't forget Emily (BOTS) and Sarah (Gauntlet 1) and I don't know if this counts as one but Amaya (Challenge 2000)
ehhh don't forget Emily (BOTS) and Sarah (Gauntlet 1) and I don't know if this counts as one but Amaya (Challenge 2000)
veronica never gunned for emily she had the chance to vote her out but she didn't....she didn't actually go after sarah she actually voted for abram so sarah wouldnt go into the gauntlet
ehhh don't forget Emily (BOTS) and Sarah (Gauntlet 1) and I don't know if this counts as one but Amaya (Challenge 2000)
Add Beth on I2 and even Angela from BOTS2.
veronica never gunned for emily she had the chance to vote her out but she didn't....she didn't actually go after sarah she actually voted for abram so sarah wouldnt go into the gauntlet
Actually she did try. I remember that she did mention Emily during the inner circle discussions when she was in the inner circle, but Rachel had just been eliminated so it probably made it harder for Veronica to convince them, but she definitely did at least mention Emily. As for Sarah, that was probably the only time she didn't vote against her. That doesn't mean that she wasn't gunning for her. Let's not forget that Sarah went to the gauntlet 5 times.
veronica never gunned for emily she had the chance to vote her out but she didn't....she didn't actually go after sarah she actually voted for abram so sarah wouldnt go into the gauntlet
Yes she did. They didn't show it because they wanted her to be the victim. She wanted to vote off Emily RIGHT when she got into the inner circle but her boyfriend James had the lifesaver so they voted off Jisela instead. The next time she was in it she mentioned Emily but Tonya was already leaving so she couldnt. Veronica even planned to sabatoge Emily by getting her a partner then losing on purpose to sabatoge her points. She told the plan to Aneesa who told Ruthie who then told Emily. She voted for Sarah all the times she was sent in EXCEPT the abram one because she didn't want to feel guilty. She gunned for Sarah because if she didn't then Veronica would go into the gauntlet since she was getting a lot of votes. The whole team was basically gunning for Sarah except for a few people.

How could this be? If she was trying to get revenge then she definitely was gunning for her.
Aneesa is the one that did that. She might have voted for sarah but i think she just went with the flow of the team...it was more rachel and adam who wanted sarah in the gauntlet and everyone just followed their lead
Nope, read Lori's blog. Veronica made up the whole plan then told Lori and Aneesa about it i think when they were eating (episode 8). They were talking about Emily at the table. Veronica got off WAY too easy on BOTS with the editing. Aneesa got blamed for it because she told Ruthie and Ruthie was in the inner circle and the inner circle always gets airtime. They never did it because, 1. There were no more partner missions anymore, it was completely individual now. 2. Emily is now aware of the plan since Ruthie told her during the inner circle meeting and will pick a partner who she really trusts. Melissa didn't want to vote Emily off because she knew it would be chaotic. Emily was one of the best female players and James would FLIP out. In the 1st episode, Amaya mentioned voting Emily off but Melissa was like NOOO she's a really good competitor and people would freak out (melissa's blog). After Abram was sent home Veronica openly said she wanted Sarah to lose the gauntlet so she would go home. Like I said if sarah didn't go into the gauntlet then she would since she was always a few votes behind in the gauntlet votes. They both gunned for each other, Sarah kept voting 3's for Veronica too (Sarah's blog). They argued a lot and did not like each other at all. On "battle scars" she talked about wanting Sarah to leave because she thought she was the weakest competitor despite winning all of those gauntlets. She said something like "If one of our weakest players Sarah, keeps for some reason coming back because she wins in the gauntlet, she's still our weakest it doesn't change that".

I am always amazed how many of the cast members are smokers. Practically the whole cast from Cancun smoked. If they consider themselves athletes and are competing in these challenges wouldn't they think their smoking has an adverse affect on their performance? It seems to me that MTV does not try show the smoking much, but quick scan shots show a lot of cigarettes and mostly by the women. Who are actual smokers?
I am going to say this, these kids, like Evan and Kenny think they are so good, but you know what they would lose to some real veterans one on one. (Mike the Miz, Abe, Yes, Timmy, Theo, ) let us not forget that

I would like to see Kenny and Evan compete on a challenge with Mike, Theo and Abe (Timmy won't be back, and Yes was never that strong.) I really think Kenny and Evan would give those guys a run for their money.

Evan would kill those guys. Lets be honest, back in the day, the challenges weren't really all that physically demanding or as athletically based as they are now. Alton, CT, Evan, Landon would feast on those old guys.
Ain't gonna argue with that.:D I don't think even BMP would be that desperate or that stupid either...
Well they are doing a Fresh Meat 2 so I wouldn't put it pass them doing another Island.
Well they are doing a Fresh Meat 2 so I wouldn't put it pass them doing another Island.
Yeah, but they probably only do FM2 to bring new people to the Challenges and some new drama. There's no point in making an Island 2. Or the rules must drastically change.
My favorite challenges are BOTS(I,II),BOTS,The Gauntlet(I,II),The Inferno (I,II) and The Duel.I feel that before the challenges were more of an extention of the Real World/Road Rules.Grudges and rivalities were revived.Whilst now it seems the challenges stopped being fun and became hectic and serious. If you watch Gauntlet I and then the latest challenge the Ruins. You will see a huge difference. The first one is more team orientated and most people are seeking for the benefit of their show, not caring about the money.Whereas in the latter you will see money hungry kids who do this for a living and need to get real jobs. The fun factor is reduced to a mere 5 minutes. In the latest episode they are seen playing in the beach for a brief amount of time. And then the tension and drama builds up.The fact that the older shows were more of an addendum of the Real World/Road Rules, meant that they were always kept fresh. Most cast members did one or two challenges and then moved on with their lives. Therefore alliances were non-existent.
Did Robin and Kenny ever hook up?
Ya Robin and Kenny hooked up. They said so on the island
I remembered Jo saying that but I never knew about it.
I wouldn't mind seeing JEK again, BUT on opposing teams. E.g. put Evan and Johnny on Team A and then Derrick and Kenny on Team B, and add Evelyn to Team B so that she can beat Johnny.
