Tonya moved to Nebraska after (or around the time) she got married to her husband - his family is from there. She moved back to her hometown of Walla Walla, Washington some time before The Ruins.
Let's face it: The ONLY reason she beat Diem was simply because Diem is afraid of heights.
Tonya is a drunken ****. It looks in the trailer she will be kicked off for physical violence, because she slaps Veronica. I HOPE so, because she is ****.
Tonya wrote a brief blog about episode one:
Ruins Episode 1
I want to be perfectly honest with all ye'all I am not surprised by the episode. I have always prided myself on giving you the real Tonya, good or bad, ugly or embarrassing. Unfortunately this is exactly where i was at that point in my life. I was just coming out of a insane marriage and had kinda lost myself and thought that i was ready to be in the spot light of the challenge again.
Truth be told we are all human. So i got drunk, i got stupid, i embarrassed the hell out of myself. Then i sober up and realized i was being a ***. So I stepped up to the plate and did what tonya usually does. KICK ***!
I love that my teammates underestimate me, but what they don't realize is i never underestimate myself. I was pretty damn proud of myself for busting out a win in the first ever Ruins. Don't get me wrong i was scared as hell, but at the end of the day in a face off your true colors will shine. I did my job and the difference between past challenges and now is that for the first time in the history of challenges, i had my teams support. If you watch the episode, if wasn't half assed cheering, it was genuine.
On this season I will unravel and ravel back up again. I can guarantee i will leave my heart on the table regardless of the outcome.
~Tonya
Evelyn and my fight was over more then a few drinks. The reason why i lost it on her was because she chose to out me infront of a group of people about a very sensitive and private matter. She took something that i trusted her with and put it on blast for everyone to judge. I couldn't believe that she would choose to hurt me in such a deep way. Sometimes personal matters go beyond the show. Its one thing to make fun or pick on your team mates, its another thing to put personal and private life on display. My outrage was do to this ....... and a few drinks.
I'm sure Tonya is a nice chick and not a drunk because people act crazy when they are competing for cash and get loose when they are on vacation and challenges.

Tonya is by far a WAY better competitor than Diem. I don't think heights had anything to do with Diem's loss.
Tonya needs to stop drinking, messing with somebody while they drunk will cause them to break especially a girl. Since what happened on the Island I knew Tonya would be targeted. I still like Tonya, she does bring something to these challenges.
A toast to Tonya: for FINALLY hitting Veronica!!! Something we've all wanted to do for a long, long time.:D
On the serious side, Tonya REALLY needs help. They shouldn't even invite her to Challenges anymore considering how deep she got her last night. I hope Evan and Kenny are VERY proud for provoking her to that point!
Tonya, we love you, and we really wanna see you well again and free from all your vices and your personal life troubles. I certainly wish you the best of luck in your future and God willing, years from now you will be a healthy confident woman again!:)

I will toast to that as well!
Interesting...what, no shoutout to Jasmine? I thought she would have her back in a challenge?
Ugh god..don't remind me. Seriously, the real world cancun cast need to realize their 15 minutes are up. Nobody misses the majority of that cast or season.
I still have hope for Ayiiia though.
I miss eeryone from their cast minus Joey and CJ. They were way more entertaining than some of the recent seasons. I would much rather see Jasmine than Sarah.

You jsut had to get that in there didn't ya?
Well Jasmine's not on the next challenge either so it might be awhile.
I'd rather they didn't put ANYBODY from Cancun...EVER! I didn't have to watch the season to realize that the majority of them were either hypocrites, clingy cheaters, and whack jobs.
Tonya is such a wreck now. Remember back on BOTSexes2 when she was actually really hot? I hope she gets her act together then comes back and redeems herself.
