Bacchus the super sleuth! It will be nice to know that if and when they decide to join us, it will be them. It will be really interesting to hear from them about their reactions to be blogged and tweeted about for so many months.

Yep...nothing like being outed by the G-d of wine. I do remember the panic that set in when you Google Earthed my home!

Do you have any advice for RWDC moms who might (or have) stumbled across this site?
dccobalt, are you Erika's mom?
ROTFLOL! No no no no. I may be a mother, but not biologically!
I was not being coy...I was just intrigued that Colie's mom posts here and wondered if she had any advice for other parents. I figure there might already be at least one or more parents joining us in cyberspace tracking their kids' adventures...as reported here, at least.

Good question. Yes, I have been in contact with other moms. Having your child go from anonymity to a "reality personality" is mind numbing. It was not an easy experience for me. I personally was not a "blog reader", I didnt even know what they were. All of a sudden I am seeing all this stuff about my daughter. I became addicted to defending her. There was absolutely no where to turn for advice on how to handle this sudden thrust of fame thrown at her ( us..trying going to a mall with your kid on tv). Thursday mornings were always fun when my mom would call with the question "How did you raise your daughter?".
I have learned how to cope. How to distinguish what is "Real" and what isnt, and how to make the process easier for other RW family.
I got this from Ollignom's twitter..I guess the show is going to premiere Dec. 30th. That's early..
Catch their discoveries in the New Year. The show is scheduled to premiere Dec. 30.
What is up with a December 30th premiere? That is a ratings dead zone! They should have waited another week...
The holidays are the worst time to premiere a show. Ratings will get slaughtered...
Denver premiered the night before Thanksgiving and did just fine. If you read MTV spin it had a 8 million total viewership.
It might have been 4.1 million...I actually cant remember...yeah
It was definitely a fun adventure, and just like Wiggy said, it was fun/interesting sneaking the hellos the last half of the summer. We'll miss you, roommates!
Also- I think this will definitely be one of the highest anticipated seasons, for sure! Thanks to people like us in combination with Vevmo! Hopefully the air date doesn't hurt, but I don't think it will!
Does anyone know if the cast his to sign contracts to stay silent till season airs? I wonder I'd we might meet them in cyberspace ...here maybe?
Because of the publicity, you shouldn't expect to hear from them, but you'd best believe they're scouring the 'net for any and all info. Obviously they know that this season was unlike any other.
Hey all. I reported earlier today about the show's cast being sent home unexpectedly today. Cast members originally had confirmed airline tickets on Oct. 14 to return home. However, due to the amount of information I have had access to, producers chose to secretly make plans to get the cast out of DC with no media coverage. From what I'm told, roommates were informed within the last 24-hours that they were in fact leaving today.
I received word on their rushed departure within hours of that decision.
I have a ton more to write, but thought I should give a first hand update.
Bye bye, roommates! So nice to see you at the NEM on Sunday! Was fun sharing secret gestures and waves most of the afternoon. Thanks to those of you related to, friends with, co-workers of, and production for Real World DC. You are all amazing.
More coming in a day or two.
When do we get the update?
Have you guys seen this? I found it and I don't know if someone previously posted it before but if not here it is.
Its a tour of the house done by the roommates.
