I still say BMP should have done a side 6 episode series so that we could get to know the FM people before they start the challenge or something. But I know, it will never happen.
Oh god please let this not be true. I think Fresh Meat was a horrible idea and a 2nd part would be the final nail in the coffin. If they do this then I will probably stop watching challenges altogether. I will watch the Ruins for Veronica's return and that's it. If Fresh Meat 2 is the next challenge, then much like Veronica and Coral I am done with challenges. I just wish they would bring Road Rules back since they are desperate for new castmembers to fill challenge spots. This whole Fresh Meat thing is getting too ridiculous even for me and I have sat through some really bad television in my life. I refuse to watch this.
I wish if they were gonna do this, they'd wait a few seasons. I don't mind them doing FM2 (okay yes I do), but IMP this newest RW Cancun will give us some new interesting challenge contestants and with FM2 it will give them less of a chance of being on the season. Not to mention the chance they could get the Austin treatment. I just hope original Fresh Meat aren't on the alumni team, but of course they will be...
i couldnt resist. another new challenge, another new banner. here it is.....the banner for Fresh Meat 2
That is a really good banner. Better than some of the ones MTV uses.
I agree. I thought Fresh Meat was a horrible idea, so imagine my surprise when I heard about part 2! What is the difference of bringing Road Rules back if they are in desperate need for new challengers? More people would watch a season of Road Rules than FM2, for many reason. Their is a reason why The Fresh Meat people weren't casted on a show. Whether it's because of age or they just weren't interesting enough.
Imagine if they had done a season of rw instead of Fresh Meat. Casey, Evan, Kenny, Ev, Aviv, Ryan, and Linette as the room mates would have sucked!
Imagine if they had done a season of rw instead of Fresh Meat. Casey, Evan, Kenny, Ev, Aviv, Ryan, and Linette as the room mates would have sucked!
Normally I would agree, but I don't even know them well enough to say that. I think challenges are a different ball game than RW seasons because it's all about the game and getting yourself to the end, however you see fit. Whereas in RW you get a better sense of people's real personalities on a daily basis. So there's a good chance I would have enjoyed their RW season, and had they done challenges the way they do them, not find out I dislike them until challenges. The fact is, after 1 RW season, I would likely know how I feel about them, like or dislike.
I feel like some of the others here, im starting to get too old or something (Even though i'm only 20 but I been watching the challenges since Battle Of The Seasons) I WILL NOT watch a challenge if its more Fresh Meat then Real World and what's left of Road Rules Alumni... I don't understand they have so many other ideas they could do...

For some reason the original FM'ers are really popular over there and some on here even like those *****. They are just dumb kids though, I mean come on people these are rejects who were too boring to be cast on some seasons that already sucked.

We can all like we who want, how boring would it be if everyone on Vevmo had the same opinion?
I always hoped if they did another FreshMeat Challenge That they would take A vet and pair them with a first time challenger (An alumni who had yet to do a challenge) and they would be the fresh meat. For Example Kenny/Emilee would be a pair Brad/ Baya Katie/Jose Anessa/Scott Catch my Drift? Edit to add:What about Ivory, Jerry and Kristen( And whoever else)? Now would be the perfect time to bring them on I think.
I don't like some of the pesonalities but the the show was a good idea. If MTV won't bring back Road Rules why not still get more cast members for challenges. I just hope they can get better Fresh Meat.
If MTV won't bring back Road Rules why not still get more cast members for challenges. You'd think that would be plenty. The Challenges are in most of their contracts these days so it is not like they can say no if MTV/BMP really wants to push the issue.
I just think its good to have more than just Real World people.

I like that idea. But I've been really wanting another Battle of the Seasons. So maybe they could do RW vs. RR Battle of the Seasons inspired Freshmeat, with each side having 8 pairs. Then each pair would be a veteran and a legit rookie, as Seannnn has said. There's been a lot non-challenge participating Road Rulers, so maybe they could get some of them to compete: Mary-Beth, Donnell (RR:SP), Patrick (RR:Ex), Raquel (RR:CC), and then Ivory, Jerry, and Kristen (RR:VR). However, most of these people probably haven't done a challenge because they don't want to....

Mary-Beth is married and has a kid, Patrick never wants to d oa challenge, and I doubt we will see Donnell ever again.
Edit to add:What about Ivory, Jerry and Kristen( And whoever else)? Now would be the perfect time to bring them on I think.
That wouldnt be a bad idea. I mean they were rejects too so might as well. Especially Ivory. She bought the best entertainment on Viewer's Revenge and is way better than any FM kid.
I happen to like some of the those *****, I'm no teenybopper either. Not a single one of them have a redeeming quality about them and watching them is like watching paint dry. Again, they were rejects for Austin and KW two pretty weak seasons already. I can accept people liking the newer seasons and their castmembers, but Fresh Meat kids? I dont think I will ever understand how anyone could be a fan of them. I know different people have different opinions but this is just a mystery I will never figure out.
Mary-Beth is married and has a kid, Patrick never wants to d oa challenge, and I doubt we will see Donnell ever again.
Yea Donnell is banned from doing challenges because he got arrested for supposedly beating his girlfriend. Yet CT nearly kills someone on a challenge and there is no official word yet on him being banned.

And thats great for you, but I happen to like some of them, as do other people, who aren't on Vevmo, and a lot of them aren't teenyboppers. I completely understand why people don't like them, but why bash people who do? Kenny and Evan entertain me. I really honestly never liked Diem until the Duel 2. I never liked Eric but he doesn't bother me, and Evelynn is okay at times to me. I loved Aviv, and I wish she would come back. Its a TV show.

Did it happen while was under contract or anything?
I think they were trying to make an example out of him.

Just because I said teenyboppers like them. It's true most of the people on Iamonmtv.com who list the FM'ers as their favorites are really young kids. Not bashing just an observation of who their fan base is.
As others have stated, I think even I might be getting too old for these challenges. It's quite sad actually seeing how I'm only 18 and this used to be my favorite show. Now I always forget about it when it's on... So yeah, I think The Ruins will be it for me.
I heard about that but how does that connect to MTV? Did it happen while was under contract or anything?
I actually read somewhere that it was prior to him being on the Road Rules but he hadn't been convicted yet, but I can't remember where I read it so I don't know the credibility. I will try to look it up tonight if I remember.

I love the concept of a pairs challenge and the elminations and the rules but I just hate the fact that the "fresh meat" has to be people we've never seen before. We spend half the show trying to get t know half of the cast and that's not what the challenges are supposed to be about. The fun is seeing people we know already interact with other farmiliar faces in a game setting. I wish BMP would just LISTEN to the fans and if they insist on doing a FM2, use cast members that have never done a challenge as the fresh meat. Jonna (Cancun) Ayiiia (Cancun) Katelynn (Brooklyn) Baya (Brooklyn) Trisha (Sydney) Ivory (Viewers Revenge) Joey (Cancun) Bronne (Cancun) J.D. (Brooklyn) Will (Hollywood) David (Viewers Revenge) Jose (Key West) This could easily be a strong fresh meat cast.
I never liked Donnell.
Like him or not he made for way better television than any Fresh Meat ****. I hated Donnell on his season but right about now I'd love to see his name on a challenge.
