Thanks producer. I was just wondering cause of BMP called me up, I would be the first to say yeah. And not because I want to be a reality star, because the challenges look so fun. If I wanted to be on TV, I would have tried out for a lot reality shows, not just RW.
I'm with you on the , why not just bring RR Back?
And your right about the new cast members. A lot of the Brooklyn cast had other obligations when they got called for the ruins, since they are following their "dreams" and what not. The two that said that they would do a challenge, publicly, didn't do one. I was very surprised not to see Scott on the ruins, since in his audition tape, he expressed interest in one.
And DC seems more like a Brooklyn season too. I just don't know. I guess it is good that the RW is getting career motivated people instead of ********** but its not looking good for the challenges.
I know how you feel lol....I'm happy the newer castmembers have goals and dreams, but it sucks for the challenges. I say we should build a petition, and use ALL the RW/RR forums from Vevmo to MTV, and start a petition for RR comeback (if Britney did it, anyone/anything can).
I always thought that a second FM was inevitable and eventually gonna happen ever since the rumor first came up. And personally, i don't mind at all. I mean, if they're gonna keep bringing in the same Viewers Revenge people; i know some didn't make it on the RV but does that REALLY disqualify them from ever taking part on a Challenge, out of the ones that did spend some time on the RV they still haven't called out Monte and i guess they won't since he got on the RV literally at the last minute but someone like Ivory would be good drama on the Challenges considering how hard she worked with her fellow Pit Crew in literally taking out Traitor Tori in the RV vs. Pit Crew missions. That football one, she and Dan were practically all smiles when they knocked Tori down. All i'm saying is they don't have to stick to just the ones that made it to the RV, the ones who didn't make it but were interesting can be asked too. At least ask Ivory is my suggestion to BMP. I don't think there's any way they're gonna risk putting in David so he can spoil away the show. Anyway, back on topic, i don't think there's any doubt in mind that some of the first generation Fresh Meat will be put in and be paired with some of the second generation. Evan and Kenny would be the first picks to represent FM1 IMO, since they have definitely been the most memorable ones whether you love or hate them.
i wish if they had casting calls for this, so you can audition:).
I wish i had known about it so I could have auditioned and been a possible reject...
Fml!!!!!
Well, I guess this is good news. They probably won't be pulling DC rejects into casting for RW24 if they're doing another FM. I've always thought that the idea of that would be a bit of a cop-out.
I wish i had known about it so I could have auditioned and been a possible reject...
Fml!!!!!
And if you got lucky maybe you would've been paired with Mr. Starkman :D.
I'm actually curious to know.
If any of you got calls to appear on Fresh Meat, would you do it? Or would you be like OMG I wasn't on RW or RR..no way I'm not taking a paid vacation!! Just wondering....
Knowing how dramatic I tend to be in real life and how much I thrive off of others drama (which is why I am here in the first place)...NO! I wouldn't want to embarrass my family like that, and believe me I would! LOL
I don't down the Fresh Meat players (except the inception of Kenny...) I think it would be cool to get a call like that! And I'm still gonna watch this if it happens!
But I like having the background of the challengers before the challenge!
I really think they should consider bringing back RR. I know it wasn't doing that well towards the end but I really do think that with the right promotion and going back to its original format, it could do well again. Then they could slow down the amount of RW seasons they did and maybe even be able to go back to the original RW/RR format for the challenges.
Fresh Meat = EPIC FAIL.
FM2? Ugh.
Wouldn't it just tan your jerky if the format for Fresh Meat 2 consisted of bringing back the entire cast from FM1 and pitting them against the new cast in a team vs. team challenge?
FM2 FTW!

That's called 'suicide.'
I might be the miniority here, but I actually think this is sort of a good idea. Just to get some fresh faces in. I do hope they change things up a little though.
I wouldn't mind it too much if they did FM1/FM 2 vs RW/RR
At least this way FM1 is only half the cast instead of a potential 3/4 or more.
I like this idea.

I'm all for fresh faces, but I think it should be a totally different stand alone reality show and the people that complete in it should not be involved in future Real World/Road Rules Challenges.
Call it The Crazy Fun Fresh Faced Challenge and make it a franchise with parts one through fifty... Just don't dilute the cast of the current Real World/Road Rules Challenges we love with these people that have nothing to do with the series.
There are plenty of Real World and Road Rules cast members each cycle that want to get on the show and are turned down. With a few hundred total cast members to choose from, there is not a shortage. The issue is that the cast members are getting older so MTV takes the easy way out by doing these infusions to better match the cast to its demo...
As for the speculated format, I haven't heard anything but my best guess is it will be similar to the first one (New Fresh Meat paired with Real World/Road Rules and Original Fresh Meat cast members.)

Me too. Your not in the minority, people just don't speak up...and for those that do...:torch:

I don't dislike the idea, I just still want to see a good amount of RW/RR cast members on the challenges also. I liked the first FM, but thats because it was 50-50. If the ratio stays the same this could be another great challenge.
Me too. Your not in the minority, people just don't speak up...and for those that do...
Like I said, I am all for another reality show on MTV with a bunch of random teenagers - but The Real World/Road Rules Challenge is supposed to be about people from those shows.
If this challenge is going to have 60% Fresh Meat people, is it really The Real World/Road Rules Challenge at that point? No. It is just some other reality show...

That's intresting to me. Just because I always thought they had trouble finding people that wanted to do the challenges. That's the way they make it seem anyway. I like Kenny and Evan and all but I wouldn't mind seeing some of of the Hollywood, Brooklyn, and Cancun cast instead of them.

I agree to some extent.
And I totally get why people are against the idea, it makes sense, but people should be against the idea , not the people. I hate when people say "I don't like so and so because of their personality, I hate them because they are Fresh Meat."
I think soon they're going to start calling the show "The Real World/Road Rules/Fresh Meat Challenge".
Thats what it should be called if they continue to do this.
I hate them because they are Fresh Meat."
Actually, I dislike the ones I do because of their personalities and the fact that they have taken over what once was my favorite reality show.
I can't say I'll be watching FM2. Only time will tell, but I have a feeling The Ruins might be my swan song when it comes to this once venerable series.
Nah Real World/Road Rules/Fresh Meat Challenge I know for a fact they wouldn't do.
If do they continue this, the shows will be called "The Challenge"... or keep it as rw/rr challenge
I loved Fresh Meat (the challenge and the cast).
I guess I was the only one..
I get the impression that people who have watched the majority of the series over the years were never big fans of Fresh Meat as it meant less of their favorite reality personalities (who were replaced by a bunch of random people.)
For those that have only been watching the series for a few years, they didn't know half the people anyway so it didn't really matter and now that all the challenges are basically Fresh Meat reunion parties, it is just considered the norm.
How could I be against the new people when I have no idea who they are? I think it's pretty safe to say the most of us ARE against "the idea". It just doesn't help that most of the FMI cast left a bad taste in our mouths...
I'm not feeling too optimistic about this one. I'll probably watch, just because I almost feel as if I have to, but basing my opinions of the first Fresh Meat, I don't think I'll enjoy it much.
Unless Coral decides to return... I don't think anything short of that will save this for me.
