Yay Brandon! I am glad his mom got to see what I think was one of his best nights this season and to see him get in the finals.
Another yay to see Twitch and Katee again! That was one of my favorite routines last season, I thought it was a lot of fun.

I agree. I loved that piece and they were two of my favorites. Last season was just SO awesome...this year started ok, but...eh it got disappointing real quick. :(

Yup, yup. I think it is fine to vote based on your preference when it gets down to dancers who are on a pretty equal level (like the 3 girls that were left), because it is America's [I]Favorite[/I] Dancer after all. But when there is an OBVIOUS thorn among the roses, that one needs to go before the others, whether they are your favorite or not.
Yes, tater, exactly. I can understand when it gets to the point where they are all equal but not when somebody should go.
Example, Twitch and Katee making it past Chelsie and Mark, and Janette and Jason leaving before Evan.
I may have to make a trip to LA to have my own mini Evan stinks protest for the finale next week. I may even resort to squirting Evan lovers with water guns.

I also think it is interesting that Melissa and Ade probably have the most memorable dances this season. Examples: Romeo & Juliet, Contemp dance about cancer battle, the disco...

I caught Nigel's comment too, and I am going to consider it as a little dig at Evan too because the judges find out the results before the show so I will assume he was being subtle about saying that Ade was robbed just like Chelsie, Mark and Will were.

I think that was a part of the problem too because of his fanbase. You know all the grannies and tweens were all up in a tizzy when Nigel made that comment about his eyes and then have been staying up on red bull until the wee hours voting non-stop for their dear, sweet Evan.

Twitch is a great guy, should have never been in the Finals over Mark. Should we rewind and watch his Mambo with Chelsie? And I'm sorry, but in Mercy he does no dancing whatsoever.

The Group Routine and Jeanine/Evan routine has me excited. And according to Louis Van Amstel's Twitter, he is choreographing as well.
Out of all the seasons of SYTYCD, Twitch is by far my favorite. He may not be the best dancer of the group, but his personality more than makes up for it. I totally agree with the judges when they say no one on this season has star quality. The dancers are seriously lacking in that department this year.
This show has never claimed to be looking for stars. Just America's Best Dancer. This isn't looking for America's Best Personality. Exactly why Twitch should have never been in the Finals, and this is coming from someone who really liked him.
And I would beg to differ. Jeanine, Brandon, and even Evan have star quality.
The show may have never claimed to be looking for that, but the judges have more than once, especially Nigel. Since he is the executive producer and does a fairly good job with the show, I'll take his word that personality is something the dancers should have.
I personally like Kayla the most out of the four that are left, and I agree with Mia that she can do far more than dance. I'm excited to see how she does next week.
