OK I take back the praise for Metromixdc. I just got a message from them stating that they can only post one link and have decided to replace Realworlddcnewz with Vevmo instead of making the addition! Are you kidding me? Shouldn't they add however many sources as necessary to properly and accurately source her blog? Calling in the troops: I need your help. This is so incredibly shady!

This blogger (is it safe to start calling her [I]she-who-must-not-be-named[/I] ?) has the integrity, maturity and writing style of a thirteen year old. What do we need to do to right the wrongs in this situation?

Because at this point I'm wondering how it is that this media company, Metromix, which is affiliated with (among others) the news station WUSA-9, can stand by [I]she-who-must-not-be-named[/I] in such a way that they are becoming part of a more-and-more public tongue lashing?? Meanwhile, I'm having some fun on Twitter today to prove my point. Martin (ollignom) who is she-who-must-not-be-named's fairweather friend (he publicly supports her and talks about we and us, but privately sends me messages telling me how he doesn't want to be clumped in with her) has been trying to Tweet up his begginner's blog. I was stating what the contest was from my point of view[/B] He asks me relentlessly in private messages if I can "take him under my wing" to teach him some journalism stuff...yet, he clearly doesn't want to learn. (And it's obvious that since he doesn't want to post accurate information, he and she who must not be named have a ton in common). At this point, truthfully, it's painfully (embarrassingly) obvious that he is trying desperately to get in the house like she-who-must-not-be-named. I posted something earlier to the tune of "Hanging with" is different from being in the same place as the Real World DC cast. That's been really well received and retweeted often. In fact, "she who must not be named" said "DITTO" to this - which, I know is her attempt to make it seem like she actually does hang with them...but, we all know bettter. Me: Bitter party of one? No. Just unleashing the AP Style Manual and best practices as I promised I would!
