Hey molds13! And Hey everyone I'm new to Vevmo but I've been a long-time reader. Last nights episode was pretty crazy I will agree, especially with Cole getting shot at. He seemed like a sort of ****** that could hold his own, but I guess not!
I'm going to agree with a few people here that Cal is the killer, but he must have a partner because of the first murder with that girl tied to the bottom of the boat. I'm going with Jimmy too.
Welcome welcome to the dark side! Call me Molds :)
If the boat that Sully was on would have blown up (and I was kind of hoping it would), I would have instantly picked Cal as the killer for sure. He tried so hard to get her off that boat...as of now though, I'm still tied between Henry and Cal. When JD said "it's all about you" and Henry showed up at the end with blood all over him, they definitely left us hanging. Maybe Henry is really in love with Abby? Who knows.
The person tied to the bottom of the boat was a guy. Cousin Ben.
I do agree with you when you say the killer has a partner. There has definitely got to be a tandem pair working together!
Feel free to introduce yourself here:

Just watched the last episode! SO GOOD! I was kind of thinking that it was a Henry Cal team, but then Cal was off finding a boat when the disfigured guy got shot so he couldn't have been there. Also, if Henry did it then he would have had to leave right away, find JD and attack him all before Abby her Dad and Jimmy made it down to the marina also. That seems a little hard to do to me.
Jimmy also couldn't have been the one who shot the arrows because he was with Abby which also means he probably didn't hurt JD. I do think Henry has some part in the killings it is just why it is "all about Abby" and who, if anyone is working with him.
The creators said in an article I posted earlier that we will know the WHO before the WHY. I think this was our first glimpse into the who, maybe by next episode we will see if any of our assumptions are right. Only 5 more episodes left I think!
I want to see who the killer is...because it really has me second guessing who is or isn't right now. It was a good episode and I have liked that despite moving to Saturdays it has survived.
As I posited at the beginning of this thread, I think that Henry is somehow involved.
They moved way too fast past the explanation for the cuts on his arms and I think there has to be an ultimate betrayal angle working in here somehow (BTW: He clearly has a thing for Abby.)
The sheriff was injured and in the cabin when "scarface" was killed by arrows so if he is somehow involved in the bigger picture (as we were spoon fed with the final scene and preview for next week) then there still has to be a second component to these murders.
Also, even though the tunnels do explain how a killer can move quickly around the island, the killer still moves too quickly to be acting alone - so there has to be more than one killer.
I am still enjoying this series quite a lot and look forward to catching the weekly episode Sunday afternoon on my DVR. However, I am not really trying to figure it all out. Rather, I am just along for the ride.

I agree. I think Henry has to be involved somehow, and there's gotta be people working together. Perhaps he has known about her being Wakefield's daughter for a while. Did they ever mention how his parents died? With the tunnels being brought to light, it leads me to believe that a local has to be involved. Plus, the tunnels got really small...so maybe a female? I still haven't cleared Trish off my list.
It's SO obvious he has a thing for her. Did you see the look on Trish's face when Henry was grilling Shane for talking about Abby being Wakefield's daughter?
The drop at the end of this week along with next week's angle makes the sheriff look awfully guilty. But how could he move around with that giant hole in his leg?
I'm done trying to figure out who the killer/s is/are, but it's always been fairly interesting. I've enjoyed the series as well.
For some reason since everyone is looking toward Henry...it makes me think it isn't him. Then again anything is possible...it could be a number of people. Madison overall is creepy and I keep thinking she is connected to something.
OK this is probably the only time I will say anything good about Canada.
They air their episodes two days early.
And I get the Canadian channel.
So I get to watch the new episode now!!!
Yessssssssssss.

30 minutes in, and already 3 deaths, possibly 4...crazy!

YES! I love the episodes where they just get picked off like flies :D I was getting bored when there were a few episodes ina row with just one death. I want blood, guts and suspense! Any surprises among the deaths that threw you a little curve ball?

Well, here's the thing.
I was looking in the TV Guide and saw that Harper's Island was on Global (the Canadian channel). I thought it was a repeat, so I turned it on. Then I realized the name of the episode, Snap. So I went to Wikipedia to look at the episode list and accidentally saw that it was new, as well as who dies in the episode (which really ****** me off). I guess you could say they're both kind of surprising.
But what happens during the episode is the most surprising part. It's action packed so far. One character is currently clinging to life and depending on the most unlikely person to help...
HOLY ****.
That was the best episode to date.
2 characters are dead, 2 are clinging to life. 4 deaths in total this episode.

And guess who's baaaaaaaaaaaaaack...
I have the brief summary if anyone would like to be spoiled.
OOO I'm excited! I can't decide if I want to be spoiled any further....hmm, I think I want to see it all happen since it sounds like it had some good twists! Thanks for the updates now I am really excited for the next ep.

Yeah, I think if I give too much away, it will completely ruin the episode. Still gotta be partially surprised after all :)
I think this series is picking up some serious steam. This episode was by far the best thus far and full of action. It also left some really good leads for next week. The very last line of the episode was the BEST.
They didn't show a preview for next week though :(
So I just watched the episode airing this Saturday on youtube, they posted the early airing shown in Canada that molds watched, and oh my gosh you guys! SO GOOD! I agree with everything molds said and you definitely want to stay a little surprised :)
Can't wait til you all watch it to see what you think!
Honestly you'd think they'd change it from Thursdays to Saturdays to match with CBS here and until a week or so ago I thought they had. Either way I am looking forward to tonight to see what goes down.
Wow, this episode was amazingly good. I don't even know what to say. It was insanity!
I recorded it last night so I could watch it again because it was almost too much to take in at once. I was also left speechless and like molds said, great last line!
It really was very good....the best of the season so far I think. There are only a few episodes left now so we are building up to the climax of the entire series. They have done a good job building it up to this point. Still think there is more than just one killer though but for some reason them hinting at it on the previews makes me believe it less lol
So I was right about the sheriff...sneaky little obsessed man. I like to think that the sheriff, Abbey, and Jimmy are all involved with the killings somehow.
Tonight sounds RIDICULOUS, according to the preview:
After watching her father's death, Abby confronts Wakefield. Meanwhile everyone becomes emotional when somebody's body is found in a bath tub and Chloe turns up missing after searching for Cal and Sully. Five people fall to their deaths, one is not seen, and Wakefield plots his return.
With only 12 major characters still alive, if everyone that dies tonight is a major character, that will definitely lower the choices of who the second killer is, if there is one helping Wakefield.

Man, now I will have to check youtube obsessively until someone posts it from Canada! It sounds crazy!

I know, I was hoping to watch it tonight but Ann Arbor doesn't have the Global channel, and you can't watch it from their website. Soooo as soon as you find it, let me know!

I will! Last time it was posted the morning after but I'll keep a look out.
MAJOR spoiler revealed either tonight or next week:
There are, in fact, two killers.
On another note, Gasp (set to air July 11) and Sigh are scheduled to broadcast back-to-back.
Just looked at the chart for who dies this week...no names, but a bit of a hint:
4 major characters, 1 minor character

Do I want to know the major spoiler molds? Or should I wait for the episode to be surprised?
It's not as MAJOR as you think...I was going to say "MAJOR", but I dunno. Here's a minor version (which I'm sure you can still probably figure out):
It's something that has been heavily discussed (by us, not in episode) and finally comes to light, so it's not necessarily that big of a surprise.
