I like Masterson. He is an easy guy to like. Let's hope he can work off that no out single and shut down these yankee invaders.
Studying architecture means I spend a lot of time in studio at school and in front of my computer so I have gotten used to watching shows on the side of my screen while I work, or following games through Game Day during class. Listening to lots of baseball games on the radio with my Dad has also helped me to be great at double tasking and listening to lots of things without having to watch them to know what is going on. Thanks WRKO ;)
Studying? School? I can't remember the meaning of those terms... One of my old roommates was an Arch major. She spent a loooooot of time in studio. I'm going back and forth between this game and Child's Play. Just trying to pass the time til my dinner is ready and TAR is on...but go Sox!
I like Masterson too. He seems like a guy I would want to hang out with. Plus you gotta love those ears ;)
Studying? School? I can't remember the meaning of those terms... I can't believe it is already down to the final 4 tonight! Water tasks always seem to hold up someone.
I am going to go outside the box here... Joe Girardi made the wrong call. Bunting for a run was the bad call. This will not be a 2-1 ballgame. That is my guess. He gets paid a lot more than I do to make such calls. However, to give up an out early rather than allow for a big inning in Fenway is rarely wise.
Just how good are the sausages?
Just how good are the sausages?
Holy **** those are some good ****** sausages. I always feel a little ripped off, but they pay out in taste. :D

I think it was more of a confidence booster than anything, no? Scoring the first run is one of those interesting stats I like to look at.
Great win by the Tigs today p.s. :)

First run...who cares. The score of the last game was 16-11. Side note: I am a huge Jacoby fan and like to see him do well. He is fast!
Yeah Ellsbury! Tied up!

*** is with Pedroia? 2 bad base running errors in 2 games! Ugh.
Frak... Good that it is tied up. Bad that Pedroia has made similar base running mistakes two games in a row (and no I will not forget that HUGE error either, even after him going 3 for 3 yesterday.)
How much do they cost? They're footlongs? What kind of delightfulness is on par with a Fenway dog?
I'm not sure exactly how much they cost. On my last outing, I set up a financing plan with my friend who happens to also be my accountant. We were both a bit buzzed while setting up the details, but I think considering a mild economy I can pay it off in 8 years with a variable rate. Should the economy burst, I might have to think about refinancing. I won't get into that beer I bought. Let's call it a bridge too far...

It is so expensive to go to a game, and so hard to get tickets. I haven't been to a game at Fenway in years! I have been lucky enough to catch the Sox when they are over on this coast though. I caught the whole series against the Padres last year and I've seen a few games at Angels Stadium, a little bit of the Dodgers too no Manny though it is still a little too hard to see him in Dodger Blue. Makes up for not being at Fenway a little bit when at least half the stadium is filled with Red Sox Nation :)
In 10 years $27 seats went to $127. It is out of control at Fenway. Still, I'd rather be successful and expensive than cheap and suck. There is always a price to pay.
I have wondered how to pronounce Teixeira for years...good thing they're mentioning him NON-STOP or else I would've been saying Tex-ee-air-uh forever.

***** announcers dude! "We get in for free." Lucky!
Wow! For what section? Please don't say bleacher seats.
Nah..they only raised bleacher seats a few dollars at a time and stuck it to anyone that wanted "good" seats. Bleachers are reasonable, but there are not that many at Fenway. Unlike most parks, the vast majority of seats at Fenway are not bleacher seats (and as if you would ever get those seats.) Unlike most team situations, Fenway has been 100% sold out for years. Still, it is not like they are charging $2500 for non box seats such as at Yankee stadium. That is where the real swindling is going on.

There is always a price to pay.
There is a price to pay, and if that means only getting to go to one great game every now and then instead of a ton of sucky games I'll take that hit. The last game I went to at Fenway we were playing the Orioles when they were hot back in the beginning of the 2005 season, the game was back and forth all day, we could see tons of games went into extra innings that day from the Monster and expected the same. Down 4-3 bottom of the 9th BJ Ryan is closing the game Papi is up at bat. Then with 2 on 2 outs full count Papi blasts one out towards center field and hits a walk off 3 run homer to win the game! It was so great :)
Effin announcers dude! "We get in for free." Lucky!
B, maybe this is their subtle way of saying they're on Vevmo ;)
What the..... Stole home? WHAT! OMG! That was bad ***. On their feet at fenway!
OMG! OMG! OMG! Steals HOME! Steals HOME!!!
Just when I am going to sign off the internet and buckle down Ellsbury pulls a straight steal of HOME. AHHHHHH! Love it! Love the standing O! And Drew gets out of his mini-rut to get an RBI...that serves you for filling the bases :)
What the..... Stole home? WHAT!
That just scared the ever-living **** out of me...I wasn't paying attention and had food going into my mouth...I thought he was gonna say there's a streaker on the field or something.
OMG! OMG! OMG! Steals HOME! Steals HOME!!!
The best part, the announcer didn't know how to call it. He was shocked! He stuttered! Straight steal at home. That made my night (6 times. I love my DVR.)
The best part, the announcer didn't know how to call it. He was shocked! He stuttered! Straight steal at home. That made my night (6 times. I love my DVR.)
AND it looked like he tripped right before going into his slide. And he was still safe. That's absurd.

Then I saw Jacoby slide into my screen and almost jumped off my couch!
