Well, you've been branded for life. It happened to me when I was about 25 when a then GF instructed me on the stupid things men say about women when we should just keep our mouths shut. Honestly, I took the advice to heart and the results were far more satifying :smileysex:
Advice taken, lesson learned. :yes3:
yea so like a month and a half ago i sent rwcasting an email with a quick bio about myself and some pics. it says on their site you can just send them stuff and if they like it they can set up a audition and ****. i checked my email all the tme after that thinking i would get an email but wasnt so i rarely checked. last night i was going through all my emails deleting the junk and stumble across a thing saying "RW casting 5pm". turns out they liked my stuff and wanted to invite me to an invitation only casting call. they sent me the huge application and stuff to fill out and bring with me to the audition. unfortunately they audition was for march 21, its april 3rd. im just so ****** because they sent me an email over a month after i sent the thing in. they didnt even call, they just sent an email. the audition was in nyc for me since i live in ny. i emailed them back last night apologizing for missing their audition and asked for a second chance. i mean in my head its like at least i know they liked my stuff, but still i have been trying so hard to get on this show that i feel like i blew my chance. any suggestions?
Every candidate runs on a different track, not everyone is in the same round, it all depends when you auditioned. Some could just be starting, other might be in the middle process

Ninety-nine percent of their contacts are by email. They don't have the time to work the phones and establish relationships with people who end up being needy and calling them every day. Yes, that happens.
Look at it this way, they liked you enough to invite you in to a casting call that a number of other vevmo members went to, but didn't like you enough to find out why you didn't who up. Reality sucks sometime.
You might get lucky and get invited to an event not that far away, but if they tell you there is an opening in Dallas next week, for example, you'll need to decide how important it is to you. My impression, though, is that they are now well beyond round one.
If you are not a political activist or have a great advocacy back story, your chances for season 23 would be very slim.
Good luck, and don't tell BMP you are an uber-fan or that you post here...:bomb:
thanx for the info. the other thing i thought about was school. yesterday i just got a scholarship for the college i am transferring to. i wouldnt want to give up all that for a reality show. my future is more important right now than tv. i cant just go on a tv show and do challenges the rest of my life lol. however its cool though that i was noticed by them so it gives me hope that i will get a chance again next time. i emailed them back telling what happened. chances are they wont respond but w/e. the application was very long, 16 pages to be exact. one question for me excited when they asked what kind of competitor am i. it made me excited cause i love competition so doing a challenge would be awsome for me. anyway now i know the type of questions they ask and plus, im only 19 right now. i always feel like they want at least 20 and over for the age. so if i got noticed at 19, i feel my chances will increase alittle when im 20. wish me luck =].
So how come the say they are looking for people ages 18-24 but never want to put an 18 year old on? They should just change it to 20-24! Im 20 so maybe i have a chance! :sarcastic:

The under 21 casting works best if the season is set in a country were the drinking age is 18 (London, Paris and Sydney).
Why would BMP cast someone who is 18 or 19 for a show set in the US? They could not allow someone underage to enter a bar illegally and the come outside a puke their guts out at the curb. Given the media attention on such things today, a young cast member is a potential liability. Devyn being forced to stay in her hotel room in Atlantic City is a prefect example of why the age thing matters. She just recently turned 21, so now she is "legal."
Allowing someone under 20 or under to apply does allow BMP to collect a ready database for future seasons.

Same thing in terms of what V was saying earlier...RR Xtreme took place in South America, where the drinking age is lower than 21.
Svetlana's season was in Key West and she was 18 during filming but she still drank alcohol.
Svetlana was 19 at time of filming.
They can't stop her from drinking alcohol, or using a fake ID. They probably just prefer having people be legal.

Aiding and abetting/contributing to the delinquency of a minor -- not an unimpressive criminal charge against BMP. Why would they risk it?

True, but they obviously haven't done anything about it yet...right?

I'm not in a position to respond to that question. Sorry.
I've read other treads from other seasons with ppl discussing the process. But this thread no one is talking. What's going on? Is it that early in the process?:unknw:
There were mixed feelings about 21. Some ppl loved it some people hated it. Are you looking at another serious cast for 23 or back to the usual cast mates.

Is that a question? And who would you be asking?
Its a question to anyone who wants to share there opinion.
If it is in D.C. like V1 predicts than I would go for a serious cast. A serious cast will blend in well with D.C. The least they can do is make it more political than past seasons.
Is someone able to clarify something for me? I feel like the restrictions on what to wear limits me from wearing just about anything I own.
1) "Do not wear anything with a logo"
Is this any kind of picture? Or are they requesting that you not wear popular brands? (e.g. Nike)
2) If so, is it ok to wear a black shirt with a generic picture? or do they specifically not want you to not wear the colors black or white?
My concern is that most of what I (maybe anyone) have is black, white, or patterned in some way. Most of what I have that isn't striped/plaid has some kind of screen print on the front also.

Go to the closest salvation Army store. For $5 you can avoid all the things you should not wear.
Logos are trademarked. You can't wear anything with that is an obvious trademark: Network advertising rules...
Casting call locations do not come with studio lighting. Black/white apparel need adequate lighting for the video to be used as your casting tape when shown during the an RW season.

Welcome to Vevmo!
I think it's more of an issue with trademarks and working to have it blurred out or taped off. I think you should be fine wearing a shirt with a picture on it.
Thanks guys, especially v1. I had to come up with a non-descript screen name - don't want to kill my chances. Sure, I could find something that fits the rules, but I'd like to wear something that shows off my personality. I think I'll try my luck with a black shirt with a generic logo and bring something medium-colored with no logos.
White shirt with button down shirt always looks nice, right?
They asked not to wear anything with a logo, anything that is completely black or white, or anything with a striped or checkered pattern.
