Go Melissa...I am a huge fan.
Me too. I tuned back in just in time to catch her dance and her energy was amazing. ABC really hit it big by bringing her on the show at the last minute.
If I understand correctly, tomorrow night is elimination night. Based on viewer's votes, and a total of scores from last week and this week a bottom two (unsure on the bottom number) to dance to stay on. If you watched SYTYCD ever...it seems very similar to "dancing for your life" as they call it.
I do watch SYTYCD...D...D...this is my first attempt at watching a full season of DWTS. I guess I figured the results would have been announced at the beginning of the show. Is it just this week where they judge on 2 weeks worth of dances, or do they do that every week?

I watch SYTYCD and aside from Season 1 (hello GH fans), I have not watched DWTS. Maybe someone else with enlighten us. PS- I do not think Gilles was better than Melissa. :(
400th post! Whoo! Looks like I won't be able to watch this tonight...Gossip Girl (FINALLY NEW), Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother are taking up my DVR. I'll have to suffer through watching it online...

They didn't like Holly. She really needs to bust the duck tape out to get those suckers under control. I bet that would help her balance, lol.

Um, I actually HAD to duct tape a girl friend of mine's jugs to keep them under control under a top she was wearing. It's NOT that glamorous...or pretty to see come off. :D

My DVR is booked for 8pm:)
TIVO says there are no repeats. You have to watch online at ABC.com
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was afraid of that, so I deleted something so I wouldn't have to deal with the terror that is abc.com :) I'm such a smart girl...

Geez B way to ruin the fact that I was trying to rub in your face that it was DENISE RICHARDS!!!! :p
Geez B way to ruin the fact that I was trying to rub in your face that it was DENISE RICHARDS!!!!
Ohh, that is what you were doing. Well, I am glad she can get back to focusing on her hit television show. :D
I'm really scratching my head trying to figure out how this show works. If votes count for 50% and their score the other 50%, then Wozniak must be pulling in a shizzload of votes to not even be in the bottom 2 this week considering he got a 10, which was 5 points lower than the next team (Steve-O and Lacey, who were also not in the bottom 2). I feel like they should mathematically figure in their scores with the votes, because the way they play it off (at least in my opinion) it goes by lowest votes. I think it's ridiculous that he's SO BAD and still around. But I'm assuming they don't do that? They announce the two teams with the lowest amount of viewer votes and then make them redance, but their new scores don't really seem to matter, since the higher scoring couple in both weeks has still gone home? IMO: do some fancy math to get an average of the dance score and the # of viewer votes, get the two bottom teams from that, and then recalculate with their new scores. If this is how they actually do it, then I'm still confused. I dunno, this show is starting to lose its likability for me a bit. I kinda went "huh?" when Woz was announced as safe in the same segment as the top 3 vote getters. That leads me to believe that he's pulling in a lot of votes. Sorry B, I wasn't exactly wanting Denise Richards to go home, but she was the least likable out of the bottom 4 for me. When it was those 4, I was hoping Ty and Chelsie (b/c I love Chelsie!) and Steve-O and Lacey would get out alive. I could care less for Holly. My head...it hurts...

There were obivously worse dancers on the show than Denise Richards. Is Steve-o still galloping around like a wounded horse?
There were obivously worse dancers on the show than Denise Richards. Is Steve-o still galloping around like a wounded horse?
Denise got voted off? Wow, I expected her to have a few more weeks left. I wonder if Mak's comments about Melissa, put the nail in his and Denise's coffin? There were a lot of angry viewers after Mak's comments about Mellisa.
Do tell??
Mak's and Karina made some comments about how it is unfair that Mellisa has dance experience. Mellisa's partner Tony is Mak's best friend, and was not happy about the comment at all. Tony said to Mak's "How about Mel B Maks?" Mel B. was Mak's partner and made it in to the top 2, and I am pretty sure being the Spice girl she is, she had a lot of dance training. Mak's and Mel B. lost to Julianne and Helio that season. Maks has never won, and I find him to be very bitter!
Mak's and Karina made some comments about how it is unfair that Mellisa has dance experience.
It IS totally unfair. She has been training for this show her whole life, lol. I love it.
It IS totally unfair. She has been training for this show her whole life, lol. I love it.
I agree that she does have a slight advantage, but so did Kristy Yamaguchi. So did Mel B., and Sabrina Bryan. She might have ballet training, and she was a Dallas Cowboy's cheerleader, but these things are certainly not ballroom dancing. ETA: I think it is pretty funny that there is all this focus on her previous training, yet by the judges scores she still is not in 1st place. Giles and Cheryl have been in 1st place since the first episode.
While in college, I worked part time as an Arthur Murray dance instructor. The people I disliked teaching most were those who had prior cheerleader or ballet experience. While they generally had rhythm and knew how to move their bodies, they were impossible to teach beyond a beginner level. Most of my time with them was spent having them unlearn their prior experience -- again and again. I don't believe that Melissa has any continuing advantage on DWTS, if there ever was on to begin with.

I mean posture and movement and ALL of that is completely different in ballroom dancing from cheerleading. I can't imagine she'd have any more of an "advantage" than Shawn Johnson from her gymnastics. Sounds like someone's just being a hater!
I don't believe that Melissa has any continuing advantage on DWTS, if there ever was on to begin with.
So you are saying her and Woz are on equal footing? :D
So you are saying her and Woz are on equal footing? :D
Does Woz have feet? I'm not sure. I was thinking of Melissa in relation to the others tied at 27 following Monday's show. Melissa is at a distinct advantage from the haters online who are all too happy to note that Melissa is not a star and shame on ABC for putting her on and on Melissa, herself, for having the temerity to think she should even be there. F'ing haters can all rot in Hell...

I mean really? How many people knew Ty Murray? Unless they are members of the NPRA.( National Pro Rodeo association) Or Chuck Wicks? I listen to country music and I had no idea who he was. My grandmother watches this show, and she had no idea who Lil Kim is, and she loved the mentioning of Ryker's prison ;)

It looks like Shawn Johnson had a stalker. Gun-Toting Shawn Johnson Fan Arrested - TMZ.com
