Why are you disappointed? I don't understand why her body type matters. If anything, she'd have to work even harder to get the results that she got.
I only cared about the show because Melissa was on it. Now I can go back to disregarding and mocking it with the appropriate "Dancing with the D-List" title. :D

Because as a former Arthur Murray dance instructor in college, and an avid ballroom dancer for my entire adult life, I don't want to watch a fireplug dance. Cruel? Perhaps. That is the only thing I think of when I watch her dance. She simply is not aesthetically pleasing to me as a representation of the art of dance.

I don't really think any of them are aesthetically pleasing (with the exception of Gilles and Melissa). Some are just painful to watch.
I would have been fine with any of them winning as they truly were the best 3, but I was glad to see Shawn won. She's the youngest winner yet, and the third Olympian to win.

I have to say I was shocked that Shawn and Mark won. I really thought Gilles and Cheryl had it in the bag. So now every Olympic athlete besides Maurice, have won.
On another note you can tell that Mark really appreciated his partner, and had the utmost respect for her.
