Is the pedro movie going to be available for the public to see?
Hahahahaha Bacchus...love that picture on the homepage :)
Is the pedro movie going to be available for the public to see?
Pedro premieres on MTV on April 1st at 8:00 PM ET/PT.
Is the pedro movie going to be available for the public to see?
I think I read or heard it's going to be on MTV when it's finished. They (BMP/whoever is involved with it) talked about it on some special or in some article. From watching the dailies, I at first thought Chet just wanted to be in charge of hosting just because he wants to host as a career and wants to have things his way, so I kind of dismissed him. However, after hearing him talk about why it was unfair he was shot down to host, I agreed with him. People can know about HIV/AIDS without having been sexually active. We learned about it in health class when we were freshmen at my high school. I can understand Scott being upset that Katelynn didn't attend his party, but she really did seem to need the money. Hopefully he eventually understood. How come they discuss cleaning up when someone is going to work or has to get up early the next day? Hopefully it didn't always happen that way. I doubt it was always like that, but we've seen it a few times now. Yes! Challenge commercial and date! I didn't read the response to my question about it yet, but I am guessing V1 answered me since I saw he was the last one to post.

Yay Pedro movie!
Drama, drama, drama... and quietly the voice of reason in the middle of it was Baya, looking stunning!
I was disappointed with the actor playing Pedro. He seemed so monotone. The real Pedro had a life to him, even in his last days. Typical bland MTV movie, disappointing. Scott, you've known Katelynn how many months at that point, and you're whining about her not making it to your party? Grow up, man.
WOW scott... a little immature there, aren't we? lol...

I understand having your feelings momentarily hurt because someone missed your party. HOWEVER, this seems a little extreme.

/reserves judgement
Looks like Scott is using Kate's not cleaning as a reason to take out anger on her for not attending his party. And of course Ryan is gung-ho to join a revenge/prank tactic! Not cool, don't agree. And Devyn shares a room with Kate as well, (although he threw in Devyn not being clean as well in his reasoning in the confessional). I wonder how many pranks would have happened without Ryan (or Chet) in the house?

We learned about it in health class when we were freshmen at my high school.
It wasn't just because Chet was a virgin, it was because his religious faith (and him) don't believe in the use of contraceptives. It's unrealistic to preach abstinence only as a viable means to HIV prevention. Chet heard the word "host" and that's why he so vehemently believed that he was the best person for the job. I agree that it doesn't necessarily matter about your own personal sexual preferences or history in order to qualify you to speak on behalf of HIV awareness and protection, but you do have to believe in the use of contraceptives. Speaking to a demographic that is at the highest risk for infection (as well as teen pregnancy) means that "just say no to sex" is about as plausible as "just say no to drugs". JD also received one hell of a great edit in this episode because he was a real ******* about the Pedro event. I can expand upon that if people wish.
I figured out of all of the cast, Scott would be the one that would understand Katelynn's need to go out and work... I mean, I say that because he seems to be the one with the best work ethic. That just surprises me.

It makes more sense now why y'all didn't want him to host. Thanks! Yes, I am curious about how JD behaved at the Pedro screening as well. I am surprised to hear he wasn't behaving well since he considered Pedro a role model.
