I kinda miss the hooking up. It usually made things more interesting. I could do without the drunken debauchery though.

JD might do a challenge. He could be groomed to be a mini CT. People would LOVE him.
I think some of the funniest moments came from drunken debauchery (although Jacquese's FREE BRAD is the only one that comes to mind right away). I could always do without the hooking up most of the time, but it does make things more interesting when you get to see a little lovin!

As to your Ryan reference I am not sure if you caught the previews for next week, but that man is defending OUR country. I hope to hell that I get to see him on a challenge, because if I do it means he made it out of that place again. Not only has he served one tour in Iraq, but they are calling him back for another, I will back him 100%. For it is people like Ryan that keep this place the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I think I could see Chet being up for a challenge. More opportunities to get attention and be on TV. Maybe he would even try to get the job of hosting a challenge. There isn't really a need for VJs on MTV anymore since they don't show music. The VJs are basically used for hosting reunion shows, and maybe they will still use them for MTV's Spring Break or their summer shows.
As for not seeing drunkenness on the show anymore - well, you have to watch the dailies to see drunkenness this season. And those are only showing JD being intoxicated. I've seen several dailies in which he seems wasted. Usually he is just shown talking about people and topics, though.

I have no idea how the Army works and what not, but I'm confused. Ryan has been at the taping of the after shows as well as doing the After World on MTV.com. I'm not sure what that means. Does that mean he just has not left yet? Or he was there for a very short time? Or he ended up not having to go?

Even though the editing makes her look like an argumentative nutcase, I thought it was kind of sweet that Devyn came to Katelynn's defense. I just hope whoever she was on the phone with didn't hear all their screeching.
I also agree with the poster that mentioned the Pedro movie. Just judging by the (awful) clips shown in last night's episode, it looks like absolute tripe! I hope MTV didn't spend too much money on it, although that might be the problem.
I think I read on Facebook that Katelynn was bummed cuz she had to turn down the next challenge because of prior speaking engagements?? Or did I read that here? Either way, she can speak for herself lol

It doesn't matter. They plan these challenges way in advance. That's the way its always been. Hell, its just like a movie.
This episode actually included every cast member :). No1 was really left behind because everyone at least said something and actually brought something to the episode's idea. This was my favorite episode by far. Ugh I see the Hills is coming back 2 days before the Duel II, hopefully the Duel II can keep up with it because The Hills is a ratings monster.
A few thoughts...
I think what every episode this season needs is more shirtless Scott.
Scott agreed with having the filming at the center so it wasn't just JD against everyone.
I understand people don't like JD but there's two sides to every story and we don't have his side available to us. I realize that's a choice he's made, but I'm not going to believe one side of the story because it's the only one available. Sort of like the people here say not to believe everything you see on the episodes because it's just one edited perspective.

Baya, Scott, and Devyn all live together in NYC, so I doubt she hates him. Plus, they seem pretty friendly with each other on the After World. No hate involved between the two of them that I would think of.
