Someone help me out here as I am a Dancing with the D-List newbie...
Will Melissa be on tonight? The reason I ask is because she was just announced and I assume that the first episode is generally filled with all sorts of prerecorded filler like Idol and other Talent shows.
Or is it all live starting tonight?
So soon?
I was thinking of sticking it out to see Melissa, but I can't take two hours of dancing. Heck, I can't even take an hour of dancing unless I am really drunk and threats abound concerning post club extracurricular activities...
I'll leave you guys to enjoy. :D
I just tuned in.
Honestly, I think Holly was ok considering she had no training... I've seen a lot worse on this show. I'll reserve my judgement for next week.

Well, being someone who does not watch - she had the deer in headlights look on a few occasions and the "I'm making this up please save me" look on a few others.
I like Holly, so I hope that she comes back stronger.
Did you watch Ty? I told you there would be worse. LOL
As a former dancer, I am usually a pretty harsh critic. More so when I am sitting lazily on my couch. But I just wanted to hug Ty he looked so lost.
I lost focus. Came back for Woz. He was bad.
Yes, he was bad, but imagine what Apple tech support has been doing for the crew all month. I would think they are all now well wired. That's what happened when he was on "My Life on the D-List" in BRAVO.
Ok Charlie. Whatever you say. ;)
But I do think she was one of the better I have seen tonight (I only tuned in for the last hour). Maybe it was her turnout that bothered me...something just didn't sit right with her legs for me.
Anyone surprised that Melissa is going last? ABC executives are not complete idiots and know what needs to be done to string along viewers to the end. She is obviously a big draw right now only a week out of highest rated bachelor in 6 years.
I have my phone ready to dial.
V, I will ask forgiveness now for bashing your girl.
But...
Denise just danced like she had a feather stuck in her *************]
I haven't written a comment in a while here but what I am going to say voices a lot of people's opinions...Denise did danced like she had a feather stuck in her va-ga-gay :shifty:...And sorry but I am actually surprised some vemvo members like her lol She was a beautiful woman but years have passed and it was obvious to me tonight that she does not have it in the personality department either...
Melissa on the other hand...beautiful! Denise (and her overdone tan) does not have nothing sitting next to Melissa! Well, these were my 2 cents...God Bless freedom of speech :wink2:
I'm going to predict right now that Melissa will win. And the show hasn't even started here yet. :D
She is just too cute, and bubbly to not like. I bet she is a lot of fun, and oh yeah she is amazingly beautiful!

If I were a guy and I had to dance with Chelsie Hightower, I'd probably look lost too. I think she's beautiful!
I really need to remind myself not to go on this site for shows that I want to watch...haha. Damn you time difference!

Gigi, I like Denise for reasons you know nothing about. She and I have several mutual close friends. Further, as a former Arthur Murray dance instructor in college, I do know something about dance. I'm am under no illusion as to her dancing ability in the long run. She has had confidence issues for some time..
Now, as for the ageist comment, Denise is much younger than I am, so I guess the years have taken their toll on me, too. Ouch, thanks for that,
As for free speech, don't thank God. The only one in charge of speech here is Lord Bacchus. Let's hope God is occupied elsewhere.
Melissa made the strongest impression on me tonight. I don't know many dancers who could do what she did in 48 hours. Ballet is not ballroom and neither is cheerleading.

Haha, ok....well I don't think she will be around long but I have a secret fascination with her that can't be easily explained and think she is often misunderstood. Very long story better told on the Denise Richards show thread. :D
As for Melissa, she looked great. Her smile is all encompassing and makes me want to see her again.

V1man...I do respect your opinions and a lot of times...well, let me be honest...It kind of gets on my nerves that you always mention I know this person, I know that person, we have mutual friends, etc...Because I notice some people are intimidated by that, and do not participate in this vemvo space as much and it is a shame because I think this site has much more potential...I know a lot of people in general don't like Denise...We, real people, the audience, the ones that watch tv ...She always gets a bad rap (and I know not to believe everything I read, but with her is like bad rap about everywhere) and trust me, as a person that do not know most people on tv and don't really care to know most of them (as I watch some programs just for entertainment), I am ready to give a chance to anyone that put themselves on the spot...But she just does not have it in the personality department...This program has a lot to do with charisma...Even Ty and the Apple guy...I truly enjoyed them...They don't dance, but they have the "nice" personality factor...That's all...and yes, Melissa is one of favorites...and I like others too! I will watch and enjoy the program...

Well, I guess she still has it for some...guys...My husband likes her too...He wasn't annoyed by her "It's complicated" program (we watched one episode and that was it)...I must say that some yrs ago, when I was even younger, I loved this girl...I thought she was so beautiful...She is some yrs older than I am, but not that many...That's why I was dissapointed when I saw her in her reality show...She wasn't anything like I imagined! Anyway...I will read that thread...

Actually, that makes him a great asset to this site. He knows a lot of people.. and offers a lot of inside information. He knows some people for who they really are.. and not just their celebrity.
I think you should be more respectful of other members. Just because the first amendment offers us the right to be rude, doesn't mean we should abuse it.
