I honestly can't say I don't like any of them so far. This season is really doing well. I can't get over how much I like the cast this season, especially, Chet. LOL.
Seems like I missed alot in this episode. I have to make sure that I catch a rerun tonight. I did see the beginning up to Ryan's kiss at the bar though, which I thought was funny.
Episode was OK. Idk...Ryan was a little childish at the gay bar. Wiping his face from the kiss? A bit extreme, if you ask me. I can't tell if I'm going to like or dislike Chet yet. He seems strange, yet intriguing. Liked the Baya stuff. Want to see more of Devyn.
Yeah, I hope Devyn gets a complete storyline next week. I'm really interested in hearing about her experiences at the Miss Teen America pageant. Hopefully BMP includes that in next week's episode.

Oh yeah, I gotta get the name of her Dr...he did a great job!
I'm guessing JD is going to be the villain that everyone says there is in this season. I think he is the type of guy who would be nice to you in your face and a total backstabber and tell everyone what you told him and not only that, he seems like he uses people alot.

i barely saw any of Scott this episode.
Yeah, l um I'm one of those that have been reading the post for a LONG time and I've finally decided to post and I think that J.D. shouldn't have insulted that woman at the store. I'm goin' to take Chet's side apart from the pranks and all of that.

I just rewatched episode two. JD needs to be a little more open minded. I'm very disappointed in the way he acted. He seemed 100% sober in the interview clip they showed after Chet appologized. He said, "I think Chet is coming around".. or something to that affect. Chet doesn't need to come around. JD needs to realize he was the one acting inappropriately.
I found the episode to be very good. I like the way they are establishing dynamics between the cast, although it seems to be focusing on everyone, but Scott and Devyn, which will hopefully change soon enough. I must say I think Sarah is my favorite. She seems so well-educated, and so accepting. It was also nice to gain an insight on Baya and learn a bit more of her personality. She seems like a great girl. Now I changed my mind a bit on Chet and Ryan. They seem a little bit better, and just kinda goofy, but I am still wondering if the edit was just to put focus on JD being the "bad-guy." I can't wait to see who this villain is this season. I honestly think it could be anyone, except for the girls. On JD's drunken antics, I will give him a break. He was drunk, and honestly, you have no control. But I still think what he said was incredibly rude, but I am not going to jump to a decision that quickly.
I really liked this episode. Here is what I thought about it and the things that caught my attention the most. First of all I have to say that this has got to be one of the most interesting casts ever. It really seems like the 8 of them have something different and interesting to bring to the table and I'm looking forward to see more of each of them. Ok Baya, I don't really have to say much about her. I think it's very positive that she's doing all she can in order to achieve her goal of becoming a dancer. Although hip hop might not be her thing, she does seem to have good dancing skills. It did seem though, that she was only accepted in the hip hop conservatory because of the real world situation. I don't mean to offend anyone but while I was watching it, thats the thought that came to my mind. One last thing is that I loved how supportive she was of Kate. That was very nice of her. I'm glad that people seem to like Kate so much, she really seems to very nice. The Chet-JD episode. I should start by saying that as a latino myself, I take my hats off Chet. This guy is really a good guy with good feelings and I'm glad to see that and that everyone gets to see that too. People need to see more of that as these are behaviors that are worth copying. As a latino, it's simply humbling to see someone who is not from a minority stand up for you. I realize that JD was drunk, but if he made those comments being drunk to me its obvious that that's the way he feels regardless and its very unfortunate. It's very unfortunate that he's taking for granted something that he has now because of the route that his parents decided to go. He could have very well be today an immigrant who just arriving to the US and speaking little English. I'm glad that Chet called JD out on the comments he was making and how it was wrong and I'm glad that Chet didn't let him get away with it with the "my parents are immigrants" comment. I mean, I think JD has made it very clear that he does not have a good relationship with his parents, that he's never had a family before so I'm therefore not to sure how much exposure he actually had to his latin heritage while he was growing up. The way he behaves, the way he acts, talks, etc, and let alone having made those type of comments and not being empathic towards an immigrant is not something that someone in connection to their latin culture would do. It could be that he's not accepting of anything that reminds him of his parents because of the rough childhood he had. This I don't know but even if that was the case I still think that he's narrowmindness it's very unfortunate. I know I said a lot about this but I'm just simply dissapointed with JD's comments. The only reason he can speak good English today and can make fun of people who can't it's because his parents one day decided to immigrate to the US. So those people he was criticizing and making fun off were no different than his own parents, but that's right, he doesnt really look up to his parents so I guess it's understable why he would react that way. BTW, JD? would that stand for Juan Díaz? Interesting. Ok lastly and back to the good stuff lol, I have to say that I really like Sarah a lot. She seems like a very genuine and nice girl. Ok I'm done, if anyone was able to read this bible thanks :)

The whole thing just makes me think that JD is trying to distance himself from anything relating to latino culture. If this is the case, then JD is a sad individual. If it wasn't for immigration, JD would probably be somewhere in Cuba living in poverty. Oh, and JD also needs to get off his high horse and show other people some respect. He might be a dolphin trainer and know "important" people in Manhattan, but he is truly insignificant on a global scale. The actual important people will surely chew this little boy up and spit him out like a piece of used gum.

All of this from only two episodes? I'm kind of slow -- like a good pot roast -- It takes me longer to build up to that serious a figure of speech. I'm holding out for episode six.

Sorry, I just get really riled up over issues like this. Anyway, I don't know JD and I can only base my opinion on what was shown at that time. Opinions are allowed to change, just as first impressions change.

We are all too complex as human beings to be fully understood after two episodes of reality TV.
Yes, I am well aware that these are roles created by BMP to illustrate specific storylines. Anyway, this is exactly why BMP should have provided a proper context for the "incident" and other pertinent storylines in the show as well. It would probably eliminate the mixed feelings that a lot of people might have about the cast members.

If true, it's working.
New here, but my take after the first 2 episodes so far is: Chet and Ryan: They're just doing what guys do. Play pranks and mess with people. No harm intended. I can understand that. I like Chet and I dig his humor. Ryan's a funny dude too. The wiping off of the kiss was no big deal. Scott: Barely know ya. Baya: Seems cool and sexy. Keep shaking that body! Devyn: Very down to earth. JD: I don't look to much into his immigrant comments. He was drunk and just had a frustrating moment. Seems like a caring person who means no harm. Katelyn: Smart girl! Looking forward to what she does and brings to the show. Sara: Good listener. I'm interested to see what she did/does that ignites JD to smash the table. I'm addicted as I have been since '92.
