Evelyn and Rachel were both absent for the first duel and it was still a perfect season. And there were so many "top dog" guys who weren't there as well and that didn't make me enjoy that challenge any less. I doubt it's another duel though.

I wonder if Cara Maria and Abe will do better or be hindered by the fact that they're the only pair left that's actually currently dating...

Nehemiah and Brandon are two people I actually keep up with on Twitter and neither has given me any indication they are going. Brandon has had some pretty down tweets in the last couple of weeks and I am making an assumption here but I think they had to do with not being on this challenge. He really enjoys bei ng on these things and he's been pretty worried that he wont get called back because he never gets air time and he usually goes home early. He told me that his plan to get far in the next challenge is to start a fight, be really loud, win every challenge, and have sex with every chick in the house. Looking at the theme for this years challenge, I think he should have gotten on the last part a bit earlier :)

I am still very interested as to how the teams will be assigned. If they don't do a draft I wonder what the theme would be for each team.

I'm exicted to see Guin Guin,I wonder if Robin would make an alliance with the new San Diego cast.

He actually assembled his team after being the first pick. He played a great strategic game by picking all of his friends who were good enough to win yet would keep him safe at the same time. Brandon's wins weren't any impressive either. He beat Derek from Cancun, JD, and Ty. The one against Ty came from Ty beating himself and not really Brandon beating him. I also think Dunbar won't make it very far this time because in the past he has generally been a lot bigger than the other guys and they wouldn't go against him in fear of having a size based elimination round while this season there are a lot of guys who are well built.

Can someone explain to me why EVERYONE seems to think Mark and Johnny will team up in an alliance? They have NEVER been on a challenge before, so why would they all of a sudden trust each other? Just because they have similar friends (Derrick) doesn't mean that they will partner up. In fact, there are a lot of youtube videos of Mark and Dunbar and CJ (Real World Cancun) working out together, so if anything, Mark would partner up with Dunbar, and we all know Johnny and Dunbar don't get along. I still feel that Mark and CT will be on an alliance because Robin and CT are friends as well as Aneesa and CT. And since Aneesa and Robin are from the same season, we can expect CT to finally have an alliance and not be the loan soldier like he was on Rivals

Laurel just told everyone on twitter that Paula lost. I hope she never gets invited back.

Wow have to give credit where credit is due to Bananas for being able to make it to the finals without his bff's and I'm not even a fan of his. As much as it pains me to say it, he has the best chance at winning because he's been in the finals countless times so he knows what it takes. CT hasn't been in one for a long time and Diem has only been in one. Newbies (Ty and Emily) even though Emily has been in one, tend to give up easier in a final. I'm interested to see who eliminated Abram/Cara Maria and Mark/Robin. All the teams are so evenly matched in the final five that it could have gone either way. Also I'm glad Ty gets his redemption story after failing so bad on Cutthroat. It's funny to watch people fall but I say it's more fun to see a comeback.

Huh? I thought Laurel would be a lock.

Can't wait until someone post that they saw Alton and Irulon and Frank and Jillian at the airport! :) I am really excited to see Emily again too, I think she may be able to stack up there with the best of the women. Anymore word on CT being on the show? Where is that guy who knows CT when we need him?

Diem and CT back on a challenge together, thats going to be trouble.

Honestly, figuring out who is aligned with who is just stupid at this point. We don't know how the rules are set up. And plus, you don't have to get along necessarily to be in an alliance with each other - it's all about numbers.

I don't see it, Brittany basically did what she did, I don't see people saying she could "flat out smoke" Laurel and Rachel and pose a big threat to Evelyn. I am not doubting that Emily is a good competitor, perhaps her still being there as far as we know is evidence of her ability, but based on what we've seen and what I've heard people here say, I would guess a mixture of her semi-likable personality and beating Paula, when she begged her not to, is what make people love her. However, IMO, just because she is loved, doesn't mean she is the be all and end all. All that aside, I would like to see Emily and Ty do better than Johnny and Camila, just because I personally would like to see Johnny "work hard" for his money and I'm not a fan of Camila. Not a huge fan of Robin either and Mark is so-so to me. So as long as CT and Diem comes first (most tolerable and well rounded pair I think), I also think the next 3 places could go any way really, each team has a fair shot with some advantages and disadvantages in their pair.

Alright!!!! Looks like by tonight we'll have a majority of the cast 100% locked and confirmed. So far we got Nate, CT, Johnny, Tyrie, Jasmine, Heather, Mark, and Vinny as locks because they are on their way to Miami. This is getting exciting and so far the cast looks fun.

I wonder if anyone is sent home for a fight in this season who they would bring to replace whoever it is. Another past ex or a friend?

Yeah I agree, Dustin will probaly be coming up soon. I wonder who the other girl is that went home with Nate.

Well Mark has said in the past that he actually does like Dunbar, but he likes Johnny too. Dunbar will probably be the Evelyn in the "mob" this time around in that he doesn't want to be with them, but because of his partner, he will be by default and it'll help him in the long run.

I just don't think he tries as hard as he used to.[/QUOTE] I dont really consider that quitting, on fm2 the alliance turned on them and he was in the exile with Ev not some ****** player and they made it to the finals on rivals, he may have sucked in the final because he was sick or whatever but they finished so I wouldn't say thats quitting, Mike/Leory quit Wes/Kenny didnt. If I had to bet on who quit or got kicked off I would say Vinny, he seems more unpredictable. But then again he seems to always go home around the 1st few episodes. Also the eliminations are not like how they used to be, they dont give strong players physical eliminations if the opponent isnt strong, so guys whos main thing is physical strength can easily be beat by some weird elimination. I remember on G3 they made Ev/Casey play ball brawl and on the duel Casey had to pole wrestle someone lol that will never happen again instead they'll do something like kicking bamboo sticks like they did in the ruins elimination with Susie/Casey.

Looking at the past offenders, we don't know who CT is with yet but if it's Laurel, then she'd probably be SOL unless they were willing to pull one out of their ***** and ignore legal issues to use Kenny. If he's with Mandi, depending on who Wes and Paula are with, they could do a weird switcheroo type thing. Abram would probably screw over Cara Maria as well.

I guess there will be three alliances, the older crew, the Wes/Johnny newer crew, the ones that don't really care. Older Crew like: Rachel/Aneesa/Mark/CT/Abe/Diem/Robin/Cara by default. Wes/Johnny (newer) - Wes/Mandi/Johnny/Camilla/Paula/Dunbar/Sarah/Vinny The ones that don't care about alliances, -Las Vegas crew/Jasmine/Tyrie/Priscilla/Nate If it is indeed pairs that's what I predict happening.. I'm sort of excited to see what will happen!!

I don't know why people think Paula and Johnny are running the game. Mark, CT, and Abram were probably sick of both Johnny and Wes and are trying to get them out. At least i hope that's the case.

If they are bringing back a ton of the cast from rivals, at least bring CT to strike fear in them so he and Leroy can team up and fight the mob!! Ct/diem on same show again would be very interesting. I haven't heard anything about either, just saying. Adam/Jenn would be too but Jenn supposedly retired.

[/QUOTE] Yeah but I think the challenge needs them, not really the invisible regulars like Sarah, Brandon, Mandi and whoever else but they do need Johnny, Wes, Ev or Evan and Kenny every now and then, not all of them at once but I think they should have at least a few of them because they're the main strategic players most of the other people are just followers or they dont know how to play the game, or they should get the very memorable people like Coral and Mark but the old schoolers are harder to get on. I dont think it would be interesting if they got a bunch of random RW people the last thing I want is a bunch of boring people being wall paper all at once.

I doubt it's another duel though.[/QUOTE] I disagree completely, considering that since then, a lot of the old school members and current cream of the crop have stated that they'd come back for a Duel. The first duel was fine because it was a new concept at the time (Laurel wasn't around at the time, so there wasn't much question of who was the strongest girl). Now there's a lot of built up attraction for it from the cast and every challenge since then has really pushed towards some sort of confrontation between the best girls, with Ev saying she really wanted a duel, Laurel, Cara Maria, etc.

Sucks about Wes but YES on Mandi only being in 3 episodes! And Sarah too lol nice! If this is a pairs challenge though, Aneesa and Rachel's situation seems weird.
