re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I'm predicting I have no proof to go on but that the rookies/REAL vets will make it further than challenge regulars like Dunbar/Paula/Wes/Johnny. I have a feeling Sarah and Vinny are sent packing first then probably like Dunbar or Paula. If it is indeed pairs ofcourse. I'm wondering how eliminations are going to go like if the lowest performer in the challenge is put in like usual or if there is some new concept. I liked the concept of everyone having NO time to talk before like when people had to vote in Johnny/Tyler in Rivals.

I dont think it's a partners thing because we're sort of sure Cara Maria is on it right? And she said Abram wouldnt do one with her so who else would her partner be?
I don't really think it's a partners challenge, especially when the last season was a partner one, and because guy-girl vs guy girl eliminations would be mostly boring. I think there's another twist to this, like maybe they are on two teams, where one team consists of hookups gone bad and the other team consists of hookups that ended on good terms.

I'd like to see Katie ACTUALLY get power in the game and see what she does with it...rather than talk about getting power in the game the entire time but never actually do so. If it is a game based around past relationships though isn't Katie pretty much a no go? I don't think she's ever had a "showmance" unless I'm forgetting something.
I'm hoping for Cohutta. Cohutta, Mark and Dan Walsh are my two favorite non-regulars and Dan didn't even get an availability call for this one.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I would think derrick wouldn't be because of the format. If his wife got mad for a female challenger posting on his facebook, I doubt she would be OK with him going on a challenge with someone he had hooked up with in the past as the format, even if they aren't partners which it sounds like it won't be. A lot of assumptions in my post I know, but the way the cast is put together, it's some sort of past hookups/relationships type format so i am sticking with it regardless of how the game is set up.
Even if it was a different format, I prefer Derrick not be on it. I liked him in the old challenges, but on the last few challenges and what he says on the podcasts makes me not like him as much. Just some of his bitterness and comments makes him look in a different light to me.

Completely disagree with pretty much everything said. You know they are both from Boston and CT helped Vinny train for Cutthroat, it is very likely that they have each others back and will work together. An alliance always benefits, hence CT trying so hard to make one on Rivals. Its crucial in these games to have the vote locked up. Why wouldnt anybody go against him, Rivals they threw missions to get rid of him, Duel 1 they attempted to get rid of him, Duel 2 they probably would have if he stuck around.

They got pretty lucky, pretty much everyone that had a major storyline in rivals is back, and the rest is filled with leftover cutthroat and duel 2 drama. I think it may surpass rivals and even the duel 1.
I don't think that would work.
What would happen if someone gets voted in twice? They would've already beaten their "counterpart", the format would be a mess.
Dustin and Sarah get voted in. This would mean Dustin would face off against Vinny, and Sarah would face off against Heather. Lets say both Sarah and Vinny win, then everything stays the same and the format stays in tact. However, if Vinny and Heather both win, and Dustin and Sarah go home, well then I don't know what then.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Way way way too elaborate. I mean lets look at who's on this challenge: Abram, Mark, CT, Leroy, and Johnny. The list of people that would want Wes gone is way more than just one guy.
And lets hope this 1 doesnt revolve around CT like the last one did, he's cool and all but hopefully theres more to the challenge than the world vs CT.
And if this is battle of the sexes and the guys are loosing then I'd laugh, but I doubt it is lmao, Mark, CT, Abe, Wes, Johnny and Leroy being beaten by Naomi, Robin and Mandi? Yeah right lol.
And I'm going to guess either the teams were trying to weed out their weak players and might have sent in rookies vs rookies then sent in Wes vs some rookie and he pulled another Couhatta loss or something crazy happened and they sent him against someone good. We'll see who's home next if its vets then maybe these new kids might be taking over the voting or something. Or maybe he just quit or got in a fight because he came pretty quick after Vinny but I dont see him as the face punching kind of dude or the quitting for no reason kind of person either so who knows, but I'm leaning towards a weird rookie loss.

True about CT, he also stays in the country longer after the challenge finishes from what I have heard. But i meant Johnny in the post you quoted. Usually if he wins, he would be replying to all the tweets or that JEK empire guy who hates CT and loves JEK. The fact that he has only tweeted he's back and nothing about how we all can't wait to see what happens or something, to me may mean he didn't get first. Pure speculation, and he did just return to twitter yesterday, and today there is a lot of football so that might be why not a lot of tweets. We will see in next couple days I am sure.

It's far from gross in my personal opinion. In fact, it's potentially keeping the show from becoming gross. The last thing I want to see is a storyline about chlamydia or the clap.
As for the Heather/Dustin thing...there was a time period between the STD test and actually leaving for Las Vegas. Perhaps she thought he was partaking in those acts until right before he left.

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Man, the cards can fall in a lot ways really. I have seen Mark interacting with Leroy and Tyrie of twitter as of late. Abe I would think, would like to run with the old school people. At the same time there has been some very small drama between Abe and CT recently and who knows if that is only for show or what.
I am really excited to see Dustin. He gets upset over the littlest of things and that's even more true when it comes to competition. I can't wait to see him throw a fit over getting beat at something and don't let any of the guys flirt with Heather in front of him.
Maybe Zach's name will pop up here soon too, lets hope.
We need another tough female name to show up or Rachel is going to run this easily.

I really doubt that its a challenge format with pairs, I see it as an individual challenge or one with teams greater than 2. Hypothetically if it was pairs, Sarah is a very strong female competitor, Vinny is pretty strong as well although this cast is pretty stacked with male competitors. I personally see them having an advantage over many due to Sarah being better than alot of the females, for example the Back to Vegas and San Diego girls would weigh there teams down, Priscilla and Naomi are not going to do well, Heather might be alright. There are more cases but the teams you claimed you believe would be eliminated first have a balance atleast, they would likely make it mid season to where the better teams start picking each other off in my opinion.
I think Priscilla needs to watch what she says on Formspring before she gets in trouble. Probably not a good idea to keep saying "___ was really nice!" and such about so many cast members she normally should not have met by now.
Who says she haven't met a lot more, especially through Twitter etc. As long as she keeps saying "______ is nice or mean" about even people who are not on this challenge, she can't really get in trouble. She never said where/how she met them.
There is no way to gauge who she should have met by now. Between social networks and friends of friends of friends, she could have virtually met almost anyone who was on RR/RW/FM. Because we know spoilers, it's easy to say she's spoiling the show, when in reality, she's just answering general questions to people. Sure, it helps us know who was there or not somewhat, but if she knows an alumni who was not part of this challenge, that could easily confuse some people here.
Well Rivals was unfair to the non-confrontational cast members lol (i.e. Landon, Emily, Mark)
That's not exactly a fair comparison. Personality vs sexuality is quite a big difference. I don't think it'd be smart for them to make a challenge that purposely excludes LGBT cast members. I'm not saying it's going to be a couples/former lovers/hooked up theme, because I'm sure that in the event of that being a possibility, I'm sure they could modify it into some sort of team challenge which includes an equal amount of LGBT former ex's (or couples or whatever) per team (Again, if it's a possibility, we really don't know).
The only thing that's bugging me about this prospective cast so far is that it will probably continue the Paula/Dunbar saga. I like Paula a lot more when Dunbar isn't there...mostly because I never like Dunbar.
I think Paula always looks like a crazy person when shes dealing with Dunbar. Dunbar always looks like the mature one, like on the Island it was his key that was taken and he was the one that was screwed by Kenny/Johnny but it was Paula that was crying hysterically over it, then on cutthroat she whines that Dunbar screwed her over even though she voted him in.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So, I'm not saying it will be a pairs challenge....lol
Looks like it's gonna be Johnny/Camila, Vinny/Sarah, Mark/Robin, Nate/Priscilla, Leroy/Naomi, Dustin/Heather, Tyrie/Jasmine, C.T./(Diem, Laurel, Shauvon, Mandi), Wes/(KellyAnne, Theresa, Mandi), .....Abram/Cara Maria, Dunbar/Paula, Rachel/Aneesa, Guy/Guy, (and another to make 28).
Underlined are those confirmed to be in or en route to Miami. Or they go with 24 and eliminate LGBT couples. But I hope they do have LGBT representation! So I hope it turns out to be a cast of 28! Wonder who that last couple would be?

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Damn, I was hoping this challenge wasn't going to be another pairs challenge because the cast would have been pretty even split into two. Also I thought it would have been boring pairing Vinny/Sarah and Wes/Mandi again since they sucked on FM2.
As much as I like Leroy, it doesn't surprise me he got eliminated so early. I remember on Derrick's podcast, D asked Naomi if she was athletic and willing to get down and dirty and her response was neither. She just wanted to go for the experience so I'm guessing she's going to become the new Casey.
A couple predictions:
- I have a feeling Aneesa/Rachel aren't going to be called out. None of the guys want to be known as the one that lost to two girls.
- I can see Johnny/Abram/Mark/Dunbar being in an alliance. Johnny and Abe seemed to be cool with each other on the show and outside. Mark tagged along since those are the only guys he knows and gets along with. Dunbar is affiliated because of Paula and they are probably their scapegoat to throw in when the alliance gets in trouble.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Here's how im hoping the rest of the challenge goes:
CT/Diem/
Rachel/Aneesa
Ty/Emily
Tyrie/Jasmine
Mark/Robin
Abram/Cara MARIA
Johnny/Camilla
Dunbar/Paula
Leroy/Naomi
Dustin/Heather
Wes/Mandi
Vinny/Sarah
Nate/Priscilla
But i think it'll go like this:
CT/Diem
Mark/Robin
Johnny/Camilla
Abram/Cara MARIA
Ty/Emily
Rachel/Aneesa
Dunbar/Paula
Tyrie/Jasmine
Leroy/Naomi
Dustin/Heather
Wes/Mandi
Vinny/Sarah
Nate/Priscilla

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Evelyn has been known to be pretty biased when it comes to her assessments of competitors.
Leaving out the likes of Rachel, Kelly Anne, Tonya and Coral is more due to the fact that she has a beef with them rather than not actually thinking they are good competitors.
I saw some interviews with Ev and I never heard her mention Emily or Beth among the girls she respects as competitors but V probably has more insight upon that.
1. I left out Evelyn's views on Rachel, Kelly Anne, Tonya and Coral because they may be opinions which have no reason to be public.
2. I didn't include those of whom she may hold a low opinion since my previous post was generally intended as a response regarding Emily's ability, but I do know that she doesn't hold Rachel in hi regard as a competitor. "Overrated" would be an accurate reflection I think.
3. Beth has always been on her personal list of people should would want to do a challenge with. But, her feeling about Beth likely extends beyond anything MTV related. Beth has always been extremely supportive of Evelyn, both professionally and personally.
I don't think Evelyn has beef with Rachel or Tonya. One of the reasons Tonya got so upset with Evelyn on The Ruins was because they are such good friends (it was blown out of proportion by two things - editors and Tonya's lack of ability to see any sense of reality on that challenge). And I've never heard a single thing about Evelyn having beef with Rachel - they got along fine on The Island.
Coral - yes, they have beef, but I don't think Coral's that amazing of a competitor anyway. She's mostly bark. She's good, but I wouldn't put her up against any of the others Evelyn has listed. (Yes, she went against Beth but hasn't it been established Beth let her win that on Gauntlet 3?). KellyAnne, I have no clue - maybe she's not as good as we give her credit for. But overall, I don't think Ev's opinion is very biased. It's not like she's super close with Tori or Emily (that we know of).
Anyway, to get on topic of this challenge - I think Emily's a beast.
1. Beef? Evelyn is not in high school. She refuses to do the fake drama for the camera, which is probably why she gets so little camera time.
2. She has always spoken well of Tori.
V1Man is good friends with Evelyn - so if he says she said it, she said it.
True.
BTW, my friendship with her has nothing to do with MTV. The challenges don't factor in our conversations beyond the two interviews I twisted her arm to do for vevmo. It's a subject she genuinely dislikes talking about. She far prefers to be taken seriously as an athlete, which is one reason she respects Emily.

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
No way. If it's a pair challenge, you know that at the end, its all going to be about endurance, and we know Sarah can't run AT ALL. Just look at Cutthroat. They will do good in eliminations possibly, but since we know the final will definitely be about running and endurance, my best bet would be CT/Diem.
This of course, is assuming it is a pair challenge.
Johnny/Camila-Camila can't run
Wes/Mandi-Wes gets (menstrual) cramps
Mark/Robin-Robin can't run
Aneesa/Rachel-Aneesa can't run
Dunbar/Oaula-possibly a #2 runner up
As for the new challenges, they will probably get eliminated before the final challenge, so I can't really say anything about their running.
