Real World 26 - Casting
[strike]Another year another season , between 15-20 thousand try out for the show, are you one of those lucky eight I can't wait i hope is in orlando its makes since because of the oil spill[/strike] Another year, another season. Between 15-20,000 try out for the show, will you be one of the lucky eight? I can't wait. I hope it's in Orlando. It makes sense, because of the oil spill.
I am trying out! I'm excited I just hope I don't miss the boat this time. Last time for season 25, I kept checking the bmp website for Baltimore casting calls and well... I never saw one :(. I think I will go to DC or Phillys casting call because I think they always go there
[strike]I sent in an email last year for one in syracuse because they had an open casting call to find out there was not one there but this year im going to the nyc casting[/strike] I sent in an email last year for one in Syracuse because they had an open casting call, but I found out there wasn't one there. This year, I'm going to the NYC casting.
[strike]whats the age limit now on the real world because I dont see it on the site[/strike] What's the age limit now on the Real World? I don't see it on the site.
[strike]does anybody have a link to the site?![/strike] Does anybody have a link to the site?
I really wish they'd publish some information on casting for this upcoming season... does anyone have any idea when the open calls start? I sent an e-mail to bunim-murray casting with pictures and a bio but I'd rather go in person. Also wondering what kind of people they're looking for this season... if anyone has any ideas let me know
You shouldn't ask "what kind of people are they looking for?" It's best to be YOU going into the casting process. As far as I know, casting is currently done on an on-going basis and currently your best bet IS to send in an email or audition tape.
I would go but I'm too old (31) and Canadian so I don't think it would work...

I finally did it! After having my tape made for two months, I sent my audition tape yesterday!
I finally did it! After having my tape made for two months, I sent my audition tape yesterday!
[strike]good luck[/strike] Good luck!
I finally did it! After having my tape made for two months, I sent my audition tape yesterday!
Good luck, definitely! Did you put it on VHS or DVD?
Good luck, definitely! Did you put it on VHS or DVD?
Um.....do they even accept VHS anymore?!
I don't understand what you are supposed to do in the tape??? looking from past seasons they all just seem to do a funny dance and a bit of slapstick comedy.
Thanks guys! ugh I'm nervous though because there is backround static noise on my tape :(. I think this happend because my camera recorded it as an mp4 , but my movie maker on my computer wouldn't upload mp4 files. I uploaded it on a different computer, changed the file, saved it to a flash drive, then finally uploaded to my computer and burnt it as a DVD. I think the whole changing file process may have caused the static. You can still hear me but the static is there, I just hope they don't automatically disregard the tape due to the static. Making a tape I thought would be easy, just sit infront of a camera and talk about youself, but it's not that easy. I would just ramble on and before I knew it five minutes were up and the only significant thing I had said was my name ,age, and where I'm from and filled the tape with nonsense like I have a dr. Pepper addiction , and love power rangers lol. :) you know I'll let you guys know if I hear anything!
I know BMP Tried of seeing my audition tapes so maybe I shouldn’t try out for this season
Um.....do they even accept VHS anymore?!
Lol, maybe not.
I know BMP Tried of seeing my audition tapes so maybe I shouldn’t try out for this season
Well let me ask you this. Do you talk or write the same way that you type?
Well let me ask you this. Do you talk or write the same way that you type?
Why?
Why?
Because a majority of your posts are very difficult to understand the first time they are read. If BMP has the same difficulty reading your paper application or watching your video, they might not want to deal with someone who appears to be illiterate.

If BMP has the same difficulty reading your paper application or watching your video, they might not want to deal with someone who appears to be illiterate.
BMP sent me a vip pass for a casting call before. For you to call someone illiterate you should know more bout the person before you before you judge. It going to end it off that.
BMP sent me a vip pass for a casting call before. For you to call someone illiterate you should know more bout the person before you before you judge. It going to end it off that.
He wouldn't judge you poorly if you didn't spell like a ten year old.
He wouldn't judge you poorly if you didn't spell like a ten year old.
If you say so.
BMP sent me a vip pass for a casting call before. For you to call someone illiterate you should know more bout the person before you before you judge. It going to end it off that.
This is the point I'm trying to make. That sentence makes absolutely no sense. Believe it or not, you can tell a lot about a person by the way they type a simple sentence. I've been trying to comprehend your posts for a good year now.
BMP sent me a vip pass for a casting call before. For you to call someone illiterate you should know more bout the person before you before you judge. It going to end it off that.
BMP basically sends everyone who emails them a VIP pass. I don't get how you can take offense to someone telling you that you type horribly when reading almost any of your posts proves it.

****...this gave me a good laugh. Thanks guys. :D
[strike]Well if that’s the case I am the only one that type horribly on here.[/strike] Well if that's the case, I am the only one that types horribly on here.
The only other excuse is if English isn't your first language. Is it not?
He wouldn't judge you poorly if you didn't spell like a ten year old.
I found this the funniest part of the conversation for some reason. On another note, I actually know ten year olds that spell quite well ;)

Excuse me while I go back on topic here- Did Season 25 begin casting while New Orleans was filming? For some reason I feel like Season 26 casting is too soon. I wonder if they'll throw out suggestions again on what kind of roommates they're looking for this season.
