Name 10 anti-heroes and I would be down with the idea.

I would say Jay fits that mold but he's moved on to MTV now.

Denise the lunch lady

Since there is a rumor of 13 jury memebers. I hope its a three way tie of 4 votes each and the final vote decides the winner. (if my math is correct.)

That makes no sense lol...wouldn’t an anti-hero be a villain? Angelina is 100% a villain...and have you watched Survivor before? And when have they ever cared if the castaways fit the tribe theme?

Thankfully Nevid explained before I had to get ignorant for the 2019. The only questions you need to be asking at to yourself is why are you Vevmo's Rachel Dolezal and what makes you think that's normal.....

13? That's waaaaaay too ******* much.

They just need to cancel this season. 37 was such a success and they are tumbling 8 miles backwards with 38. The cast, the returnees, the concept, the inevitable horrific editing...everything about it screams epic disaster.

That blue-haired chick is insufferable already

So are Aubrey, David, and Joe.

Queen Ciera who voted out her mom <3

Angelina is an antihero because she wasn't painted as a complete villain. She was right, her points made sense and aside from the fake idol didn't really do anything bad and actually had reasoning behind her moves unlike kass or abi who just like chaos

I wonder what happens if its the final 3 and there is a three way tie. Like would the pre jury vote on a winner?

Thats why they switched to 10 jury members

not really. The votes can be 4-4-2 which can still make a tie.

That isn’t a three way tie. Third place would vote between the two who received 4 votes.

Does anyone know if like the jury will be at tribal council since they’ll be on that island? Like this is about to make no sense imo

Solid question.

I’ve been wondering this too - cause that would def impact how they view everyone that’s still in the game. Either way, this season bout to be messy as hell so I’m excited.

What I wonder is if they are going to merge early because I know they pulled this shit with old survivor but having the jury before the merge is just dumb imo. It robs people of even the few days the first jury member gets meeting everyone.

this shit makes the formats for The Challenge look well thought out. so someone who might have never been on a tribe with someone could decide whether they win or not? sounds logical

If the Jury isn’t at tribal council that’s so damn dumb, I’m certain people get a lot of their info and who they plan on voting for based on those tribal councils

I really just dont get this twist. Like it's redemption island but without the challenges, they just sit around doing nothing.

I heard a rumor a long while back from one of the trustworthy survivor sites that for season 40 they were probably only going to cast people from Season 20-present.

We stan a tragic winner to spite Jeff though. See when he does clownery... the clown comes back to bite!

if the cutoff is really HvV then i feel like that makes it more likely to be HvV2? i’m fine with them only casting people from recent seasons

Heard the castaways don't know about the island of the voted out people until merge happens.

This should have been done to RI and South Pacific where the castaways don't know about RI.

I think the reasoning was because casuals would know more people not necessarily a theme

The winner of these season spent most of their stay on Extinction Island with the other inhabitants. So there was lots of personal bonding and relationships formed that the other two members of the final three had no chance at doing. And luckily one of them was Aubrella so god is good.

so what you’re telling me is that we’re getting “Audrey was robbed” 2.0 for the next five years? it’s ok i’ll take it if it means she loses again lol

Idc where Aubry places as long as she loses miserably.

So most would be people who have already returned and like 5 people total who return for the first time?

Seems about right.
