Do the votes get erased when round two starts?

Well I voted for Mr. Jesus Avatar today again and and he isn't doing bad at all being inside the top ten right now at number 8. In other news though I caught something interesting, Brittany(who loves shots....at love) has popped up on the site and is open for voting. Weird.

They ask for more content though, and the votes apparently remain cumulative throughout the first two rounds- so I'd say it'd be hard to catch up if somebody joined in during this round. The votes are competitive this "Meet and Greet" round because there is still a good chance for alot of people. So pretty much you have to keep your vote count consistent this round to really have a chance. And I am just about ready to vote for you again, nice jump you're in the top five now I think.

They will have who they want, regardless of vote count- anybody who has had any interaction with BMP knows this. It also goes without saying that they are laughing at many of the people in the top that have cheated their way there- because even with 1 billion votes, you will not get casted with 1 billion piercings, or 1bllion extra pounds hanging off of your side, or 1 billion different tracks planted into your scalp. Sad, but true.

I am promoting pretty hard. I have 10k friends on Myspace and I over 1k on Facebook with a group that has over 900 people in it. I think I am going to pass out fliers on campus this week as well. I feel like I am working a lot harder than some of the people in the top 10, but they are still getting a ridiculous amount of votes. I know Ricky is the march guy for the band "From First to Last," and he also has over 80k friends on Myspace. I believe Matt is right though. They will pick who ever they want in the end, no matter how many votes one has accumulated. More exposure in this contest never hurts anyone, so I am going to continue and keep promoting myself. My video is still pending and I uploaded it last night. By the way, I have a genius idea for my third video. I wil probably post it when this round is coming to an end.

As a note of caution, though, I highly recommend that you do not make this a priority- because it surely doesn't make you one. Production is mean :flame:

The amount of votes really don't matter at all. I was a member of the casting site for season 20 and didn't even make it past round 1. But somehow, my blogs and videos caught the attention of the casting department and I got a phone call during the second to last round before the final 10. I had a skype interview with a casting director and then the days following the interview was laden with phone calls and faxes back and forth to the offices of Bunim-Murray. When the final 10 was announced, I didn't make it. And neither did a lot of other top vote getters. Just have fun with the blogs. Have fun with the videos and don't take it so seriously. If you're interesting enough, you just might catch someone's attention. Fast forward to season 21 casting. I got a phone call from Bunim-Murray again because of my experience with the casting site. I was encouraged to audition again and I made it to semi-finals that time. I don't say that to discourage anyone, but really, I wasted a lot of time trying to get votes and promote myself... but in the end, it didn't really matter anyway. Seriuosly, just have fun with it. See where it takes you.

That's good info, Caine. It just doesn't make any sense for BMP to do the whole website/voting thing if they're just going to pick who they want anyways! But then again, hardly anything BMP does makes sense.....
