AYTO said they were looking to cast ********* or people who didnt know their sexuality eventually but who knows. As for RW, its gonna need more than a gay guy like Chris to make it worth watching again
it would be so much easier if half the cast was gay so the only way i could see something like that working on AYTO? Would be if there was 11 people again, 1 openly gay person a closeted bi sexual male who at first blush you wouldn't be able to tell that they're Bisexual gay or anything like that and a straight female but i would want at least one of them get ****** over no spliting that shit 11 ways. With the catch obviously being that the closet bi person having to be hush hush about it Military style. which would lead to alot of awesome moments of the openly gay person assuming some of the straight cast members are gay and dudes who are there for money and ***** getting picked and seeing their reactions to that. Last season would've been the perfect time to do something like that even if production had to manipulate i would've loved to see Gio's reaction to something like that and see how he would've handled it.
I dont know whats SADDER, the ratings or the fact that this is like mtv's 3rd highest watched show. Yes, thats how bad mtv is doing as a whole. I feel like the only people left who are watching real world in 2016 are the hardcore fans who have been seeing it for yearsssssss now. No matter what stupid theme they come with I just feel like it wont help the ratings... the show has been walking on its last injured leg for years now.
The last season I fully watched was las vegas 2 and thats almost 6 years ago now. The show has ran its course. The ratings have been declining ever single season. Its at 300k now. I smile at the times I remember real world premieres getting 3-4 million. Ahh the good old times. The last time the show did a million was almost 2 years ago and i dont think we'll be seeing those numbers again unfortunately.
I don't think it's a problem with the show, more so a problem with MTV as a whole. Like promoting only on MTV will not do shit because who the **** watches MTV anymore. Promoting the show during other shows that can barely get 200k? Great idea sigh
MTV Spends way too much time Promoting shows that always get canceled after one or two seasons. Does anyone remember Eye candy..? There was an elevator at my college with it plastered on the outside. Remember Washington Heights? I remember hearing radio advertisements on the hip-hop stations in Dallas about it.
At this point I feel like MTV knows that the real world is always going to get renewed so I don't understand why they don't promote it more.
I feel like they don't care to promote the real world outside the network because they feel people will tune in anyways because of the name but baby .....no. The show has past those days of 4 million an episode so promotion should be hefty when it's approaching it's premiere or something.

Sad thing is that they hardly promoted even on their channel lol Promos for this were literally released like 6 days before the premiere.
They could easily promoted all of thwir shows on others viacom networks, especially Vh1 during their hip hop and housewive shows.
rarely saw promotion for the real world, saw tons for that garbage mary jane show. it also wouldnt hurt to have replays instead of replaying ridiculousness 20+ times a week

I liked The Real World: Seattle... the OG season. I'm not much into themes. But they had to change it up because of ratings, but after explosion, it went down hill.

Omg CRG ❤️❤️❤️
What? What did I do? Haha.
You came back
Hahah. I come back and forth! Been pretty slow at work and wanted to know what everyone was saying about Bad Blood and a few other shows.
they're probably just keeping the show for challenge recruits
Yeah. They are. It's barely "The Real World" anymore. It's 3 months and has themes. The show used to be 5 months without themes. They just want people for the Challenge. Even if it's sucking in ratings which it is, so many of their shows get cancelled.
How do the ratings work? I am bad at them. It was number 47 last week and 90 this week... isn't that bad? Don't make fun, I am not smart when it comes to ratings.
yikes
those ratings are lmao
That picture is me everytime I see that Kim Zolciak spinoff show above this. ✌
Skeleton started with 600k and ended with ****-1.2 lol I am still hoping this does the same at some point
On RW: Chicago their was a gay guy, Chris and girl, Aneesa and on RW: Philadelphia there were 2 gay guys: Willie and Karamo.
Jeez, I am dated. I'm old school.

LMAOOO even without the game, the season has been in the 300-400k range so the game made no difference
lmao the theme didnt even help, but yes at least the show is bringing in real worlders to compete on the challenge at least
Number 90, it went up after last week
