I believe everyone has a price but the price for some is going to be difficult for MTV to say its worth it IMO. Some people have too much to lose if they say or do something controversial

Oop! Shook at this.

Who knows what the feel is going to be but this cast discussing all the current political mayhem would be great to hear.

probably one of the reasons they decided to do it -- that season was notorious for race discussion

based on that seminar i went to where Kevin was there oh he about to speak whether MTV allows him to or not lmao

Editors can be very forgiving when the need to be, especially if the network is actually compsensating them substantially.   I expect some promises were given and guarantees made.

That makes sense--I'd still be apprehensive depending on my career.  Someone like Kyle Brandt or Sean Duffy have way too much to lose.

Maybe the cast for this show is going to show up on We Want OG's as mercenaries

I actually think San Francisco will be doable. A handful of the cast still live in SF (Pam, Judd, and Mo) while Rachel and Puck I can see would love to be in the spotlight and participate.

Money talks as people keep saying but I find it very difficult to imagine Rachel putting herself in that situation.  That is not the "spotlight" that she likes.   She's been in the spotlight nonstop for decades she doesn't need the show for that.

Love the idea although not sure every season will be able to get everyone to come back. I cant see Sean Duffy or Johanna coming back and those are just names off the top of my head

lol I would die - finally getting Julie on a Challenge!  I'm hoping one of the possible names we're waiting for will be one of the three ladies

I'd love if they attempt some Road Rules seasons - heck, The Quest seems game for anything lol.

Julie Gentry might be the greatest reality casting of all time. Don't @ me.

I hope no one would dispute that. She was perfect.

Julie is honestly the only reality tv character to have an impact on my life. Her relationship with Darlene and spending the night with her under the bridge to better understand her life is the most powerful moment in reality tv history imo and doesn't get enough credit.

I'm a huge reality TV fanatic and even though I just watched this season for the first time not too long ago, I wholeheartedly agree. Julie was a FANTASTIC casting choice. I was shocked that they got it SO right in the first season of reality TV ever.

Although I'm excited this is happening, I'm also mostly confused. We're in the middle of COVID, what are they gonna do in New York in the winter time? Sit around in a house for a week?

I was wondering the same thing - heck all of Broadway is shut down till at least the fall. But this could force just some amazing convos between them <3

How many episodes can they actually film in a week? Like around 3?

Let's see what the set up is.  I'm guessing they have a plan.  Hell, they might just have episodes solely dedicated to showing what their lives are like now and discussing important moments from the original show.  Is it only a week?  I thought they said 2 weeks but you can probably get 5 episodes easily in a week

if they can stretch  a whole season of Cory looking at pictures talking about doing it for his kids - they can stretch anything lol this will be more interested too

Interesting.. i mean this aired in 1990... the people who watched this are like 42-60 years old.. i get the nostalgia but I'm not sure this will ring in many viewers lol.

they should have started with like Back to New York. I'm 30 and I started watching with Chicago

I want to see Chicago reunite the most! I feel like it's such an underrated season!

The first season of  The Real World air in 1992. I'm 37 years old. I watched the first season of The Real World when it debuted back in 1992 when I was eight years old back in 1992.

I'm 30 but I started younger with RW/RR. My cousin's High School boyfriend was on Road Rules so I watched that, and then my babysitter ended up on the real world a couple years after that lol. Then I got hooked lol

Nevermind what I said about Tami lol

Who were these people!?! We need some stories lol

LOL. Not much to tell really. I've never met my cousin's HS boyfriend but did talk to him on the phone once. He and my cousin are still close friends even though they're both married lol. I do know he's still very close with his cast and went on a trip with them in the last 5 years. As for my babysitter, our mom's are good friends and he lived just a couple of houses down. I'll see him every couple of years if he's home for thanksgiving or something. I haven't asked him about anything MTV-related in YEARS. He has good memories but it is very much in the rear window. His mom was NOT a fan of his decision to be on MTV which I find funny. I won't say who they are out of respect to their/my privacy, but I will say that they are both men and neither have been on a challenge. There ya go! Lol
