This!!!!! Cast themes over Concept themes tbh.

I'm honestly not feeling this cast , I don't think any of them bring anything entertaining to the show for me , The premiere was lackluster   , maybe things will pick-up but so far I'm not feeling it.

They'll probably start doing stuff like that at some point anyways.

They'll have to start doing cast themes because it's not much you can get from just exes and rivals.

I don't think an all African American cast would work. At best they should at least have three but a whole cast would be like College Hill to me. A Twin season would be annoying to me as well.

I also doubt Bunim Murray is running out of ideas because when Explosion was announced they said they had a list of twists. Each twist that has happened so far I didn't expect so I think they still may have some good ideas planned.

Wish they would realize this for The Challenges.

That's a good thing b/c College Hill was always turnt lmao. I think it would work to get more of "us" to start watching RW again, which will definitely equal ratings. That is one thing "we" do way too well is make shows popular and/or give these networks all the ratings they could ask for.

Yeah but I think they would still get "our" viewers if they took the BGC route and added three or four blacks out of a cast of seven or eight. A cast of all blacks takes away the original format to me with different people of races, religions, and sexual orientations.

They could still have a lot of diversity within the color spectrum (lmao), different religions & of course sexual orientation. I do think 4 out of 7 or 8 could work also for a concept theme season.

Put me in the "they need to appeal to the urban" crowd.

Black Twitter knows how to spread word of mouth.

Ain't nobody checking for Real World these days.

Exactly. Black Twitter will promo if no one else will. Get a bunch of drama & fights in the trailer & the show will be back in the millions before you know it lmaooo

I agree but MTV doesn't have a big black audience and if the show was somehow on VH1 (which garners way more viewers than MTV) then I could see more success.

Ranking of the roommates:

1. CJ Queen

2. Jenna

3. Kailah

4. Chris

5. Sabrina

6. Dean

7. Dione

They should have chose one of Sabrina/Kailah tho and given one of those 2 replacements their spot. Both are very similar and will probably have the same storyline.

Doubt it! That would be a miracle for MTV and any other show that is bot Teen Mom lol

I think MTV needs to find a way to rebrand itself , make themselve relevant somehow. I dont think focusing in just one demographic and race would do more damage than good. I think there should be a balance. I do think we need a season that have more than 2 black people not the entire cast but atleast like half and hopefully from different backgrounds.

Based on promo I think Sabrina will become a background character once she finds her mom, We would see her in cofessionals. Correct me if I am wrong did we saw her arguing/Hooking up/or anything else in the trailers and promos?

Kailah has been shown hooking up with Dean/Dione , Ceejai going off at her, she was shown calling Jenna out, arguing with Dione and The whole fight with dione gf.

Plus, I feel like Kailah would be more catty if they have brought a female replacement. I think they should have find a way to get rid of Sabrina after the whole finding her biological mother stpryline.

I can't stand casual viewers. If real world isn't the same as the very first season or if bananas isn't in a final, people are quick to trash the show. people act like the twists make it a whole different show they've never heard of.

i can't stand all the old hags on TRW facebook page... I have never seen so much complaining in my life

agreed. gee whiz

Would have been cool if they had a task that included a twist that would have just brought all three replacements in Ex-plosion style.

in regards to your question, Sabrina in the trailer/promos did get a lapdance. Not sure who it was from though since it was very very quick

Like why are they hanging so low.

thats what she said.

or like San Francisco where we saw Alley, Jo and Mark

**** no no more relatives.

fyi college hill was bae so an all black rw could work.

to be fair the twists already take away from the original format anyway

rewatching GBGH and they skipped over Jenna's comment about the black people store on the re run lol

Not really. The twist only adds to existing problems. Not only is it seven strangers from different backgrounds having to live together but they also have worry about completing tasks. A all African American or LGBT cast would be taking a huge risk with viewership which the show can't afford. The ratings may not look great to some but they are doing great with their target demographic so I see no need to jump ship and make a huge change.

they did?! LOL Cause they know better. lol I can't believe they did that. Shady *** editors.

I just noticed that this is the first premiere in a long time where there was no "coming up onthe real world" during the commercials bumpers
