Was Dione supposed to be cast as the cute guy that all the girls fall for? Because I'm shocked that they're all over him...
I love Cee Jai she's so educated and I general I feel like this cast isn't your typical real world cast filled with archetypes.
Also it feels awkward seeing how close Jenna and Cj are knowing what happens later on.. that girl is just awkward. But she lives in such a small bubble I hope she opens up her mind but I doubt it.

Karimah was actually on our list of people we were looking at for the show. There were a few other people who made finals they must've not shown. These people could potentially make it on a future season because Jada was reject on the BGC11 casting special and was cast on BGC12.
I almsot feel bad for Jenna with all the hate she is gonna get. She is so sheltered and ignorant that she doesn't even realize what she says comes off offensive.

I must say this was one of the best premieres of Real World like no crazy arguments on the first night over shit like bar tabs. I'm glad CeeJai took the high road with Jenna but I'm disappointed Dean let the comments slide cause he trying to **** which will probably never happen.

It does for me. People are so head-over-heels for the scripted shit now & its ridiculous. If MTV would get their act together I feel like RW could be back on top.
The easiest way for them to get ratings IMO would be to start marketing the show to the "urban" crowd, if you catch my drift. Test the waters, do a season in Atlanta with an AA/Latin/Asian cast.

Uh I was on twitter 8 minutes into the premiere and a Real World trend was no where to be seen.. hopefully people started tweeting deeper into the episode. I have high hopes that this season will do fine in ratings. Just like Skeletons, they'll start low & rise up over time. But at the same time I could see the racial topics turning some viewers off from watching.
After seeing the first episode I can't complain about the cast minus Dean. I still feel like we are still getting typecast when it comes to the black guys. Like if you want a chill black guy who's all about the ladies at least have another one on who's not like Denver and Back to New Orleans.
