Now that was extremely impactful to me!! I now want to rewatch it. I found myself crying but not from sadness. Thank you so so much for sharing! At times like these I feel we all need words like this. Sharon is a very wise woman. I have felt my love for Diem grow even more since she passed. I never met her in person. I didn't really know her know her like some people did but still I love and care about her.
I was writing up a schedule and actually acknowledged it is Tuesday. Felt my chest tighten as I remembered that tonight they will show it, felt the wash of anxiety & loss of breath that I felt that awful night in August when I knew she was sick but couldn't reach her... except there will be no Hi chicka, I'm at home, feeling more energetic today... to come this time. I agree & disagree with people who have said that they want it to be over - that feeling has been mixed... the pain of seeing her diminish is excruciating as is knowing what comes after but to see her smiling and being silly & the whole play acting with CT - I would happily give her a couple of my years for her to have a little more of that, she deserved so much more, she gave so much to others...
Make sure to say a prayer today for her family and Chris
Semisweet.....please educate me, did you know Diem? I don't know the history of Vevmo and everyone here....just curious.
I was traveling today for work and thought the same about this being the last episode.....air travel gives you time to thik about basically everything to make the time pass.....lol.
You are beginning to see some of the castmates being interviewed about the last episodes prior to Diem and CT departing.........all highly positive about them both.
I know this is incredibly hard on the familes and friends.....

I was blessed over the last couple of years to interact with her and have call me her sweet friend... however, while we had made plans we hadn't managed to meet yet - so as people on social media like to say... it's complicated I didn't realize how much we chatted until it stopped
Thinking of everyone here tonight. I know this is going to be very hard on some of you. I will not watch until tomorrow as I know I would not be able to sleep if I watched it right before bed. Just remember this wasn't really the end... Diem had a lot of pain ahead of her, but she also had (almost) three more months to spend with her beautiful family and her gorgeous gaggle of girlfriends who gave her the love and strength to smile that beaming smile despite her struggle! Best of thoughts to her family, friends, CT, and all of you.
Ordered mine! love that Bananas is supporting MedGift and I will do anything to keep my girls dream alive plus BONUS that is one of my favorite pictures of her!
Personally, while we knew some of the moments would be difficult, and I cried - overall, I thought they did a very nice job of showing a really bad situation. I am happy they cut out the really panicked parts and some things i thought coult be worse. And instead I think they concentrated on showing how much she was loved and cared for.
I think i still have some open ended questions, but none of it really matters in the scheme of things. I'm touched that #welovediem was trending again tonight. And I was touched by Banana's donating 100% of the Diem shirt profits to MedGift. I hope it was done how she'd want to be remembered.
Okay I see she deleted the original tweet but I saw others responses to it....wow. Well obviously I don't believe her for a second but why would a former cast member who does not even know them that well just go making up things like that....not to mention on the day Diem's very last show airs. No words.
Veronica is annoying in the first place with all her annoying tweets about The Challenge being completely different when she hasn't been on in YEARS. She has the nerve to call Are You the One irrelevant but she's not even on the show with less than 10k followers? And if they do call her and she declines, why does she act like she still cares so much about it if she's moved on? Hmm #Overrated #Annoying #KeepItMoving
I so agree with you, Stefx23. Veronica Who? is my response. The Tweet noted above doesn't belong in this thread, especially not after what we saw tonight. I'm hoping a moderator will move it to one of the other threads. May God bless our beautiful Diem and give comfort and peace to her family, friends and most of all CT.

Most people don't care about AYTO being on the show though. And Veronica was VERY relevant every time she made an appearance on the show. She doesn't do the challenges NOW so of course she wouldn't have as many followers than the cast that are actually on TV. She can still tweet about the show, she has done her time. 8 CHALLENGES. She can have an opinion, she gave us enough entertainment for years so she is entitled to have an opinion on the current state of the show.
Anyway, Diem was heartbreaking on last night's episode but I LOVED her last confessional about love and not to keep pushing it away cause you never know what can happen. ;(
Lets not worry about the Veronica thing... I think the relationship between CT and Diem, in whatever form, speaks for itself and the love and respect was undeniable for anyone. Isn't that all we could ask for?
I'm really more interested in how everyone thought the episode went? I feel like we've all had this anticipation of this episode for a while, and now that it's over everyone's reaction has been very quiet. Is everyone happy with the edit or was it too much?

I was glad they kept some parts to a minimum while maximizing the scenes showing of the love between the two. So they did a good job all things considered, i was worried about them taking it too far and showing too much. The fact they showed the preview clip of CT yelling and him asking for a doctor near tears at the end of ep 2, made me worry a lot about how it woudl go ..But as i said overall i think they portrayed it in the correct way. Seeing her in that condition just isn't easy to watch...
As far as ct and diem, as Evan said on the i love diem tribute, they kept their relationship private, and only their close friends truly knew, the rest were pretty much kept in the dark and they liked it that way. Seeing as how their close friends (on both sides) haven't had anything to say that conflicts them loving each other and preparing for a future, i'd say that pretty much sums that up. At least to me. People like Veronica commenting changes nothing. She probaby had no clue what has been going on in the last 2 years in her personal life other than general stuff that diem shared, if she even did.
I honestly had no idea watching last nights episode was going to be as hard as it was. You could just see in CT's eyes how much he was in love with Diem. I'm heartbroken after watching that episode.

You conveyed my thoughts exactly. The portrayal of it was better than I thought it was going to be too. What really got me was the ending, showing her at the Panama Airport, showing her arriving in New York, with her voiceover talking about the future, relationships, children. Powerful stuff. Still thinking about it today. It was a lot to take in.

Exactly! When it comes to Veronica....keep it moving, NEXT! She obviously is lacking attention. I am thinking about Diem's family, friends and CT heavily today, hoping they are doing okay today. I know it will continue to be a tough tough time for them for quite a while so I'm sending all my loving vibes towards them.

I think they did a good edit. It was sad but they did the best they could. It was really emotional to hear Diem talk about her future.
Hard to watch last night. I do think they did they best edit that they could. Respectful. So wishing that Diem had had the chance to see those future dreams become a reality. Said a prayer for her family and CT last night. I pray they all find peace and reach the point where they can think of her and smile without the tears. RIP Diem!
I look at their story from the context of when they first met in the Duel....if you get a chance go back and watch those old episodes and listen to them talking about one another, they were such kids......now fast forward 9 years to last night......it really is an incredible journey played out on TV for the viewing public......last night highlights to me CT's comments where he stated "they never gave up on one another".
I was also very touched by CT speaking to Diem late that night via cell phone from the hospital, her calling him Chris and calming him down, she returned shortly afterwards and they crawled into the bunkbed.......when you watch this episode you need to really grasp the fact that these are their last fleeting moments together (after a 9 year journey) before she departs for NYC and the world takes over with "sources", "tabloids" and leaked information speaking on their behalf.
CT was absolutely devoted to Diem.....she certainly brought out the best in him.
Laurel Just tweeted this directed to Diem, and it's a clip worth watching about our perception of death.

Oh my lord at the ET video. They mispelled Nany's name as Nana and Jay gave out a spoiler.

Its confusing to think why she would say something she is not sure about with such conviction.

I agree that MTV did a nice job last night.......they certainly loved one another and were maturing into a new phase of their relationship.
