I don't think Emily is bad but she gets a lot for her three seasons.
The only interesting thing she did in Cutthroat was having Paula shaking in that elimination. But, Laurel mopped the floor with her in the daily with the shields.
Jenn was outperforming her consistently too. And, the most credit I see Jenn get is her politics; she's rarely ever high on the top female list.
CT took nine seasons to win, as much as I've come at Cory for being in a similar spot.
Laurel is a one-time champ yet remains in a top 10 ranking for women amongst the majority of the fanbase, regardless of who they like.
Skill can teeter luck in your favor, but circumstance will prevail regardless of what makes more sense on paper.

the most common rankings i've seen is

then after that it's always a mess with some combo of cara/camila/jodi/sarah rice being endlessly debated
Emily is so overrated
i think back then there wasn't as many 'brolic' bodybuilder type girls on the cast so because she stood out from the rest they always had her at an extremely high ranking. now that today's casting has many girls like her i think it would tarnish her reputation i think. now that we've had a bunch of girls like kaycee and jenny west she doesn't really stand out.
i also think prime cara maria would beat emily if they were to give pole wrestle another go. it was giving jenny west vs tori where both jenny and cara just weren't accustomed to that kind of combat but with enough training they could easily advance much further
Why is Sarah Rice so high? I must need to rewatch some seasons. I just remember her whining about Cara, whining about her partner screwing her over (and over), and then acting like a mom to everyone. Supposedly great at puzzles, but then losing on them. Oh, and winning 1 season with Jordan. Or 2 if you count Rivals 3. Not great.
As much as she sucks as a person id put camila in the top 3. She's good at everything, only think she has against her is being small but that's out of her control.
Amanda would be top 3 with Tyrie and Danny if were talking about the challengers with the most apperances without reaching a Final. King Josh is breaking his cursed this season.

I actually think Jenny West had potential to be up there. She isn't just muscles she is a whole nerd vs Emily that is just muscles.
