Theres a movie (and an upcoming sequel) based on josh duhamels real life where every year him and his friends meet up to do these games. I didnt think many people watched it tbh? Didnt know there was a reality show about it until I saw the trailer during challengeusa lol

LOL i get tore up here so frequently that I can't even keep track. I'll die on that hill that I would create killer cast and produce a 1000x better product than this whole team of clowns (Danny, Skye, Elmer, Justin, Julie, etc).

Episode 5 averaged 1.64 million viewers and a 0.34 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

kind of good with the live feeds being advertised heavy for the Pressure Cooker comp.

The number of people that are big enough stalkers to ever use the live feeds is a pretty small number

Not Necessarily Big Brother is a social network driven show, there's documented proof that a good amount of people sign up for live feeds enough of which to warrant the Pluto TV buy to play them live.

If we check their social media scores even in the dead of night we are talking 12am to 3am they are generating tons of engagement. Most people discuss with eachother about the events and you can't gurrantee they're all logged in watching but it's still what there attention is on

Episode 6: 1.78 million viewers and a 0.31 in the 18-49 demo

Y'all hiring?

LOL WTF. September 14th, Big Brother moves to 8pm. You'd think, "Awesome, so Challenge: USA moves back to 9pm where it belongs?" NOPE. BUDDY GAMES AT 9PM. Challenge: USA stays at 10 with friggin Buddy Games as its lead-in.

They are 1000% actively trying to kill this show off.

clearly not given they have 100 spin-offs and another one filming in a month

They are killing its lead-in for some garbage show that no one is going to watch. Big Brother sucks but it still pulls decent ratings and gives C:USA a good lead-in.

Ratings will probably drop 25% next week. They are killing it intentionally or through incompetence, doesn't matter.

I'd assume they feel the fandom is locked in on that time or most of their viewership comes from DVR or Paraflop. They'd rather use BB as a lead-in to establish Buddy Games for a renewal, which makes sense.

they're really filming something next month?

If Buddy Games gets above a 0.1 in the demo and 1.0 million viewers, I will be gobsmacked. That ish looks awful.

sounds like it's the MTV vs CBS spin-off PR mentioned around the time 39 ended. https://twitter.com/chrisvillegas88/status/1695939059258896689?s=46&t=P4CfJiE8O21vL1k1d0oJRQ

only part i don't believe is that it films "much" longer than USA. i see an early - mid oct start and it ended right around thanksgiving, similar to the world championship

With the writers strike still at a stalemate the ratings don't even matter at this point. Reality tv is gonna dominate the next couple yrs especially long running shows like the challenge. We are gonna get more challenge content/spin-offs than ever

Can't imagine CBS is happy with CUS2 ratings,Love Island Usa and The Real Love Boat were pulling similiar numbers, and none of the contestants on that show were getting six figure apperance fee's like some of the challenge vets. Probably would be under consideration for dropping when the season ends  if not for them needing new content due to the strike.

People are still pretending the ratings aren't good?
