I don't see it ending. For MTV to end that means Challenge is done, Teen Mom stuff is done, Movies awards done, VMAs done. I think they're fine with getting by on those shows plus Jersey Shore/Riduculousness.
season 40 would be a great season if they could actually get some returns like coral, landon, evelyn and some others. But thats unlikely so just give us the best of the best you can get. Please no rookies/ non legends/allstars. They need to go all out. I know we wont get teams but plz no pairs... but if its pairs plz switch the pairs every elimination, make it individuals the entire season, or rotate from pairs,teams and individuals every challenge.
people have wanted 40 to be some going away party forever and it's just not realistic. I do hope they have a special theme but they've already used all stars so there next bet is another fresh meat/wotw type season
S40 should be The Duel 3 with only champions and only individual dailies but we'll get something stupid.

teen mom is on its last legs, fans arent happy after the last season, but they could easily continue it on paramount.
Honestly the same for jersey shore, theyre lucky they got sammi back because I didnt see it lasting much longer with its boring storylines. She will bring ratings for at least one episode but who knows anything beyond that.
movie awards and vmas just dont have a cultural impact like they used to...so I dont think theres a loss there.
all in all, I see it all transferring to the app. Besides the challenge, there really isnt much of a draw to the network anymore except for the simpletons who love ridiculousness 24/7.

Now bestie they dont want to even pay some of these people a decent appearance fee. Mtv doesnt have survivor money. It will be a million again and thats a great cash prize for a show thats not on a primetime channel and ratings are declining every season. Lets actually hope it doesnt dip below a million.

season 40 should be cutthroat 2 and that'll likely be the only reason i watch unless the cast is stellar. watched RoD up until tommy left, then watched the first 2 parts of the finale. didn't even watch the third part lol

it was a bomb *** season, it was season 20, and it was a great large-team format. we've basically had 20 seasons of pairs since then and it's a better theme than ******* spies for 5 seasons in a row. it's boring
