Aneesa is someone that I can never tell if she gets a good or bad edit. Idk how to explain it.
Her edits are pretty consistent and probably more accurate than most. They show her good and bad side. They can show her as the aggressor yet sympathetic.
Veronica had to fight for her position numerous times on the Gauntlet & Inferno and she always won Lifesavers for herself + performed when needed. People downplay Team challenges now because of how people played the game on Gauntlet 3/The Ruins/WOTW2 but Team seasons always had their own type of difficulty.
amen. Especially the women back then, the guys tried to pick them off constantly. Queen V is a three time champ and I lived for her win over Aneesa in dirty 30 elimination, it was epic and one of the most exciting parts of that incredibly long season lol
I say it every time she comes back but I always find it out of all the cast member this show has seen since Day 1 Aneesa is the one that kept getting cast through every era of the show. Like I know others have made returns recently, and I like Aneesa and I'm happy they keep using her, it just weird that over all the years she is the one that got asked back when so many others fell off their radar.

Honestly I think it's her associations that kept her in the casting pool. On Duel 2, which was like the last great random compilation of castmembers, she made known her ties to Rachel, and played part in a love triangle against newer veteran Jenn. That's what separated her from being like a Ruthie...(but Aneesa/Robin/Rachel) didn't resurface til Rivals/Exes.
If you ask me Aneesa kinda inherited Tonya's obligatory spot.

She always tends to have moments with random newer cast members too, I don't know why but the convo her and Ibis had when Aneesa seemed to flock away from the Coral/Veronica click for a second always sticks out in my mind. also the weird short lived alliance of her, Beth, Wes and Svet lol (two of which are on the show now go figure).
I think she'll continue to do the show for as long as it's on honestly.

Same. To me she's one of the realest people on the show so will always have love for her.
Aneesa doesn't do every season which was something I liked about old school seasons, they had a rotating cast with a handful of mainstays.
Honestly, I'll root for her until the day she wins. They just need to give her a big team format she thrived on Inferno 3
