Anyways this season has got to be one of the most boring uninteresting blandest seasons ever. Probably even more boring than Inferno 3 and The Island. It really was just a never ending loop of "I need to get myself into that tribunal and get my red skull" over ... and over ... and over. There wasn't even any interesting storylines or characters either imo. All in all just a very dry season.
Pretty cool article and interview with one of The Challenge executive producers here. Also, has a hint of what kind of vibe they're going for next season and how far along in the process they are.
Im too lazy to read all that lol, anybody have the cliff Notes?
" We're getting ready to head to location for season 36 imminently. We're very heavy in development in what our next world and our next season is going to embody. It's definitely something that's going to be forward-thinking, that's fresh and fun "
" There's always things that we could do to take it to the next level and things that I don't want to get into too much because I don't want to give away too many spoilers for season 36. We got a lot of input from fans and [host] T.J. Lavin himself about how we can reimagine the red skull and how we can escalate it and just even kick it up another notch. That's certainly that we're looking at for this coming season, so stay tuned."
Basically the only important things that lady said in the interview

Ugh sounds like they are going to keep the red skull twist.
So basically she liked everything that I personally get turn off about the show based on that interview lol
She like the red skulls because ppl cant skate with politics, she sees them as top tier athletes and she is proud of the apocalyptic theme bunker even about them putting those black paper convering windows so they wouldnt see the sun....
I am sorry but some of the best drama this show bring is around politics like Laurel elimination episode last season was amazing.

The red skull twist is great to keep if they can change some things up about it. Like maybe bring back the relic, or if you have multiple red skulls you can give one away or insitead of having 3 seperate eliminations for the last 3 people without Red Skulls, you can have them do a Bloodbath where there's only one winner. I think they definitely can adjust and do things to make it better.

She has been around since the Duel 2 lol So probably nothing anyone do would matter

I miss the politics and the paranoia that would create fights...Red Skulls take that away

I feel like the red skull twist is not something that should be repeated back to back..even IF they tweak it. The game was altered in such a bad way.
The red skull twist and the tribunal are two things that should be put on pause for season 36.
Also the bunker and miserable environment .Even on his IG live Bananas said the living conditions were so horrible that people just had no desire to backstab etc. I also think that's the reason this cast has less drama with each other they bonded on being miserable.
I don't really enjoy hearing the cast struggling with the environment like on the Island or Total Madness. Like even when they're in the mansions on the beach, the food still is mediocre, the place is dirty and crowded, and they are basically trapped there with minimal communication but at least there's bathing suits and they can look hot and tan and party.
Take the already medicore conditions of the mansions and and add in urine, even less to do, no sun or fun, the bunker is EASILY one of the worst decisions ever. Especially since half the cast didn't even really care if they stayed anymore it sucked so much.
Jenny seems like a very sweet girl but I'd be happy if she didn't come back for season 36 or ends up leaving early/mid season. I want an lineup that is balanced for the female side. It's boring when someone powers their way through & we end up getting a predictable outcome.
Also...Fessy, I want to see some of the men stop playing scared & target him. I'd love to see him in something that's not physical since that's what he prides himself on and rightfully so.
I feel like we need more strategic players to join the challenge next season
No person in their right mind would wanna put Jenny in against a rookie like Jenn Lee. Wes volunteering made absolutely no sense. Jenny targeting Aneesa in the end when she would've for sure had one less person to worry about didn't make much sense either but it worked out for her. Giving people who don't have a red skull a silver platter to go into elimination was the absolutely most frustrating thing about this season. Nelson giving up a spot in the final for a friend after two miserable months in a jail bunker was stupid. Tori rushing to get into a elimination just to get sent home by Jenna when she was sitting pretty was idiotic but pretty hilarious. The smartest move made this season was putting Jordan against Fessy sending him home. The only strategic move that made sense this season
I feel like the cast was forced to spend the whole season living in bad conditions just for the producers to only mention or highlight it in the very first episode and to use it for the trailer. After that you kinda forgot they were even in a bunker with no sunlight and outdoor toilets because it was never focused on again.

The problem with Jenny is she seems to have become Bananas work wife they seem like an old married couple. I think anyone is beatable depending on the elimination. With Fessy I think even though he worked with BB and TYB he is the third in every alliance and he knows it. Will be interesting to see if he comes back where he will eventually settle alliance wise.

i agree.
the tribunal should've been retired last season tbh... I miss the Final Reckoning voting system tho
The Final Reckoning voting system was the worst. Part of the appeal of The Challenge is seeing people actually vote or not vote for you and create new enemies. Nothing that production created that season should ever be used again. Not the voting system, mercenaries showing up mid game and getting to join the season, none of those awful eliminations and good lord, definitely not the redemption house or elements from the worst final ever. Basically the only good thing about Final Reckoning, was the drama between the cast. The dailies weren't even that good either.

We go from Dirty 30 where they partied on Yachts and went on horse carriage rides to sleeping in cells, padded windows and nail beds

fessy has gotten 64,000 new followers since the premiere... casuals are so weird
I'm not a casual, I've seen every season multiple times, but I dont watch BB so I followed Fessy now and I really like Fessy
Doesn't Fessy flop in the final? He's been talking a big game the last couple episodes.....
Yeah his big *** can't run probably
I doubt there will be much running from the looks of it.. probably too heavy for the snow and was sinking with every step..
So which rookies do y'all think will be back next season: Kaycee, Fessy, Jenn Lee, Jay, Bayleigh
We only know that he finish after Bananas, Kyle and Cory for the guys
Kyle and Cory of all people beating him to me says he flopped lol Especially since he's been sounding like Jordan lately.
