Who was ever talking about Champs vs Stars. I had to look that up because I didn't watch that. I was talking about XXX and her first mini season when she threatened to quit multiple times like on Invasion.
I see Ashley similar to Jordan. They're both not the fastest nor the strongest but they are both very well rounded and have proved their top ten material regardless of how they did it. Again this is a game show where the sole focus is to make it to the end not be the strongest person or the best at eliminations.
Here's my problem with Ashley being top 10 all time. If this was a schoolyard pick team set up how many girls would you take before Ashley. Ninja Cara and Laurel aren't even debatable. I'd also take Georgia and Kam for sure. I'd probably also take Dee Tori and Nany. Maybe Jenn. Shed likely be my 10th pick on this season and shes in her prime.
But at the same time, Ashley's mission on these shows is to win money any way possible. Not to be a team player or work well with others or be the superior athlete. Her record has to say something about her game especially for someone who isn't an athlete like Ninja or Laurel. It's like saying Susie isn't that good because she's not the competitor Laurel or Emily is.
I think Ashley is a very good player like Cara. But no, I do not think her elite. I think she won because twice Amanda threw her game for Ashley. If she hadn't Ashley wouldn't have made the finals imo. The fact that she made it this far without having her group around is very impressive. And once I see her performance and hopefully she doesn't threaten to quit or throw hissy fits constantly, I will have more information in which to form my opinion.
You could see it as she's smart to know what friends to pick; she picks friends who are weak and help her and also forgive her when she takes advantage of them.

That was always a big possibility when they allowed team switching. The big good team couldn't stay so big the whole time - some had to move over and then they ended up weeding out the players that were losing so much.
