The Challenge: Rivals 3- Cory Wharton and Ashley Mitchell

I would like to officially nominate Cory as most overrated "strong" guy. Dude sucked during Weight for Me during Bloodlines (even though they somehow pulled off the win cough Mitch), sucked during the final, and sucked this season for the most part.

I agree he is a bit overrated , but i think the 2 challenges he was on he has been a great supportive partner ( both in victory and defeat)

And with that exit interview, Ashley Brooke officially won my heart <3

She goes on my book as one of my favorite females. Hoepfully she comes back.

Ashley's my favorite rookie competitor since Cooke.  You could tell after being eliminated how bad she wanted it and you really don't see that from a lot of the other competitors.  I know she'll be given another shot and kick ***.  Glad they decided to bring her back for this and give her a shot!

I don't see how Cory's overrated. Noone has really made him out to be this beast. If anything I feel like people expected too much from him honestly.

Weight for Me was a 1 man elimination lol

Which is frequent on Vevmo with many cast memebrs.

I'm watching the episode 11 Rivals Brain Candy vid now and Sarah said she pulled Christina aside and gave her the winning strategy before the elimination (she learned to lock her arms in her first elimination ever against Katie, apparently). They really need to stop spectator interference in eliminations, the more popular team has had a huge advantage in two of them this season and blind soccer was a crap shoot since all of the onlookers drowned out instructions.

Cory was supposed to be top 10 all time smh.

Let's go ahead and cross Cory off the list of people wh should replace Leroy.

And if Cory's knee is that bad he  shouldn't have came on the show.

People on here were saying he was going to be better than Bananas and be the one to take him our prior to Bloodlines and during his season.

Yall have to remember Cory is on Challenge 2 and Bananas is on challenge 13. If Cory had 13 challenges under his belt he would be a completely different competitor. I'm pretty sure Rivals 3 Cory would destroy Inferno 3 Bananas

That kinda seems like expecting too much from him though..

Inferno 3 Bananas was a top performer on a season that included Abe, Derrick, Alton and Kenny. He tied for the most life shields and was good in all but one challenge (the pirate swinging one). Is Cory probably more muscular than Johnny at that time? Probably. Would he "destroy" him? Doubt it. Cory was getting shown up last season by old *** Abe and Johnny at pretty much every turn.

Bananas was one of the best guys on Inferno 3 (a season with Abe, Kenny, Alton, Timmy, Derrick). Cory is equivalent to maybe Ace on Inferno 3. And the only thing experience will help him in is politics. Not necessarily the actual challenges as they change each season.

no excuses. There are just as many people who Do well in their beginning challenges as there are people who do better in their later challenges

Rookie of the year fo sure! She needs to bring her crazy *** on the next challenge! Really like her!

He wasn't getting shown up though.. He did well in all but two missions. He also did good in the final IMO.

I mean Cory's not elite and he has weaknesses but lets not shit on the boy and act like he's weak.

I didn't say he was bad...I said Johnny and Abe were better, which they were. I don't think he's weak either...I just found the notion that he would "destroy" Inferno 3 Johnny to be silly when a mid-30s Johnny has been better than him on both challenges they've done together and back on Inferno Johnny was beating the likes of Alton, Derrick, Abe, Timmy, and Kenny in some competitions.

Y'all.. smh. I can't with this Cory roast.

Anyway I need Ashley to come back next season and hopefully she makes it farther and gets to the final, she has that drive and I love it.

I'm gonna miss these two. They were my favorite team and I would've loved to see them go all the way into the final.

Idk what is better. Cory proving again that he is useless or  fact that Nate actually beat  him. Opinions?

Cory is tragic and I'm convinced that if he were to ever step foot in an elimination on bloodlines, his *** would've been gr***. He's lucky Dario ****** up on Mitch's elimination.

Nate ****** him up and...he has to live with that...

Im more interested to see what ashley can do on the future than cory tbh,  dont think a lot of people were expecting her to perform like she did, girl has potential.

i thought so to....until she lost to christina in something athletic

For all we know production could've made Cory & Ashley's thing harder to turn than Nate & Christina's so they would lose and there would be an "upset".

True. I mean Nate was ******* Nicole so they may have wanted to keep that going. Not to say that that was 100% the case but it could be a possibility.
