Cory is a fine *** man. I think all of the ex-plotion men looked good. None of them were hideous. I dont like Brian but I can't say he was ugly.

cory's teeth still bother me.

Agreed.. He was hotter than the entire male cast on his season, but he's still a horrific human being.

Brian was cute on Explosion but now he don't look his best, he still not ugly though. Wink

Thomas has an exceptional face but I think it doesnt get hyped because he always contorts it,  has an air-headed stoner aura, and is a pillsbury doughboy.  He's a funny guy tho.

In terms of traditional, caucasion standards, yes, Thomas is better looking because his facial structure fits the european standard for beauty/good looks to which most people on vevmo (and the English speaking world in general) are accustomed, but Cory is biracial (I think?) and his features lean more toward the African-American side of the spectrum - so you can't really compare the two saying Thomas has a 'way better face'. That's like saying no one should listen to Punk Rock because it doesn't sound like Italo-Disco. Huh??? Cory works hard on his body, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he's a good looking guy in general. Add to that his personality (the fact that he's nice to everyone, supportive of his wacky partner, works hard, and admits when he's in the wrong) and he's even more attractive. I'm not really on the bandwagon that'd give it up to him in a second ... mostly because of the way he treated Aneesa last season, but I have a feeling they were gearing up for Exes 3 anyway. Plus if we're still comparing him to Thomas, the latter doesn't exactly have the cleanest record when it comes to women, either. Stephen can get at me tho with them lanky arms. Bruh.Personally, I happen to like Thomas and Cory a lot, and I hope Rivals 3 isn't the last we see of them. The Ex-Plosion cast has in general has reinvigorated The Challenge for me. The show kind of plateaued after FM2 - as far as the regular cast goes - with the same people and the same personality types over and over again. Even if you don't care for Ex-Plosion as a viewer, you have to admit the cast was and still is unique, entertaining, and morbidly fascinating in their own special way. Except for ********* that *****.No, I'm kidding. I don't actually mind her this season.

im actually not oppose to african features in anyway. imo marlon, ty, will(hollywood) are some of the best llooking guys on the show and all of them look significantly less white than cory. his face is just annoying and the things that i find annoying about him are not distinctive to his or any particular race. he just looks like an overgrown teddy bear or some mutant baby which looks disharmonious and just mismatched on his overbulked body.

tell me u dont see the similarities? particularly the dumb round vacant eyes that looks like nobody is home

he just has a very stupid and peasant cl*** look about him that i find distasteful. hes not ugly but just not as good looking as im sure he thinks he is . i think tyrie and brandon are also better looking than him as well

its cool that he dedicates a lot of his p***ion and time into working out but it also shows in his lack of culture in other areas and his personality. he probably has no hobbies or interests outside of that. i know u said that hes a good partner but i mean....ths is his money on the line...why wouldnt he be? his being a good partner is entirely in his own self interest. its easy to be encouraging and nice to someone that has the power to write your check. he isnt any "nicer" than any underling that kisses their managers *** for a promotion or raise. i dont remember him going out of his way to be a good person on his season

the dude was 21, i've come across dudes who were his age who acted like he did. its not un common. & there have been people on these challenges who treat their partners like shit even though they were tied into their money. so i personally don't think he acts that way because of it. in a sense he reminds me of leroy as a partner because he's a good partner to whoever he's tied to, too.

Idc about Cory,  queen Ashley is all that matters lol.

The dudes that treat their partner like shit are either dumb or incapable of restraining their emotions but it doesn't really make them any worse than the people that are nice just because they want to get to the end. Nothing wrong with being about your money but it doesn't make you a good and upstanding person. It's business for him in the same way it's business for a salesman to make u feel special when selling a watch to u. Do u honestly think every waiter, bartender, receptionist has a good personality because they're nice to you on the clock? corys prob no different and I don't see any of his actions in or outside the game to indicate any genuine, non self vested character

even Reilly said in his last interview that he's being nice to Jessica's face now because he wants to stay. He doesn't give a shit about her...most of these partners dont about theirs. Doing something for  money doesn't make u a good personality

loving Ashley so far

According to brain candy Ashley's injury was GNARLY in person. Apparently the wound would also stick to the sheets over night (from the humidity) and someone would have to rip them off of her in the morning which would reopen it. Respect++

Holy shit. Ashley's a trooper.

I don't remember saying Cory's an upstanding citizen for being nice to his partner. He's just mature enough to put their differences aside for the game. As to whether his kindness is fueled by selfish desire, who cares? Every cast member there wants to win and would probably do whatever it takes to make that happen. Being nice to ones partner is hardly a selfish act in that respect. Smart, mature, and tactful? Yes, absolutely. Selfish? Now that's stretching it.

From what I remember on Ex-Plosion, Cory was super patient with Brian, even when the dude was acting crazy. He actually tried to talk him down and help him when he lost his shit towards the end. Literally no one else in the house gave a shit except for Cory, Jenny and Arielle. Don't get me wrong, Cory definitely has an ego about him, but I get the impression his arrogant persona is a little more tongue-in-cheek than say ... someone like Zach. I can't see Cory driving any partner of his to the point of madness like that idiot.

Anyway, Ashley should seriously sue! What Sarah described sounds totally awful, and could easily have been prevented with a bit of thought from production. They really don't give a shit about the health/safety of the contestants anymore, do they?

Ashley can't sue, they signed a contract stating nothing is productions fault if someone ever were to get seriously injured or die. I remember hearing from an insider at the time that production told Ashley that most people would've quit the game after an injury like hers. My bad ***** stayed though.

the other person did

i didnt say there was anything wrong with being nice to someone because you want money. i simply said that its not a trait thats worth praising or noting as exceptional generosity. as you said hes doing what every cast member would do in that situation....so why exactly are we talking about how nice or good of a character he is when hes merely doing something thats completely within the norm? usually when a trait about someone is noted its because that trait is rare or exceptional. when you call someone pretty its because theyre prettier than average. when you call someone smart its due to that person being smarter than average. when you call someone nice its because youve noted that theyre nicer than average. im not saying hes a bad guy but i am saying that i dont see this awesome honorable character that everyone seems to be seeing....and there have been a few on the show....landon, CJ, evelyn, noor, jillian, etc....those were genuinely "good" people who looked out for others that didnt necessarily return the favor. i dont see anything like that with cory...i just see a basic kid with a basic personality that doesnt deserve to be recognized or appreciated

also i thought it was abominable as hell that he voted in tom ..please....as if refusing to vote simone in was going to really break apart any partnerhip he had with ashley or end up in some kind of game losing result for him. getting simone out isnt that big of a deal to ashley and he knew that. that just goes to show how deep his loyalties run when hes willing to break up a relationship with someone who is supposedly a good buddy of his OUTSIDE the show just to mildly placate his partner

God I love this team.

Ashley did a podcast talking abput rivals 3

Cory is not a butter face at all lmbo. Thomas imo needs to have his hair cut short in order to really see his good features.

Casting men named Nicole must be the new in-thing.

i really like this team! i hope they do well.. they seem to actually geniuenly get along too

They are a great team.  Competitive and Entertaining.

When production initially didn't cast the queen this season and she's brought the most so far <3

Cory was so quick to jump at a chance to be part of Bananas alliance.

After Leroy, Reilly and Tony were gone he knew a spot would open.

Still think if the chance presents itself, Cory would send Bananas or Vince in

I would like to officially nominate Cory as most overrated "strong" guy. Dude sucked during Weight for Me during Bloodlines (even though they somehow pulled off the win cough Mitch), sucked during the final, and sucked this season for the most part.
